Hawkeye season finale!!!! SPOILERS

By now I have come to terms with the fact that no matter how much content Marvel gives me of Clint (and Laura), it will never be enough. I just love him too much.

I was satisfied with Wandavision, FATWS and Loki, cause I knew we’re gonna seen them again. But I’m not sure about Clint. Kate, Yelena, Maya, they will come back for sure. However, unless we get a season 2 or some series I don’t see Clint popping up in another project, and even less Laura.

That being said, I pray we get a season 2 announcement. I was hoping to see it at the end of the credits, but nothing. I think a lot of people would love to see them again, even if it’s not as the lead characters. Could they be training the next generation???

I’m gonna be reading as much fanfic content as possible this holidays. Maybe someone will write a coworkers-to-lovers story for ClintxLaura??? I know there are some of them, but it doesn’t hurt to have more.

You know, sometimes dying is the best thing it could happen to someone, at least to save their reputation. Kate’s father died and it made him a saint in her eyes. I know, I KNOW, Eleanor killed Armand, framed Jack and sent Yelena to kill Clint. HOWEVER, it was her husband who got her into that mess. He’s the one who acquired debt from Kingpin. Maybe he was also a shady guy, or maybe he just made horrible decisions and trusted the wrong people.

I love that. Ever since I saw it in the trailers, I was so happy. Clint Barton is so smart and I’m so fucking tired of people thinking of him as a stupid person. In Fury’s words, he’s one of “the sharpest men” he knows.

Also, I love that both Stark and Scott gave him tech. I don’t know how aware of that is Hank Pym, though.

Jack, sweetheart, finally some action from the Swordsman. I still don’t like they didn’t make him Clint’s mentor at the circus. But maybe he can mentor Kate now? I’d allow it.

Scott mention! I can’t believe we never got a bonding scene between Clint and Scott. They would have been bffs, talking about their kids and all. But I think this establishes that they are good friends, not just co workers.

I feel like Clint spent more time pulling his punches in the MCU than proving how good of a fighter he is. That’s also why it was cool to see him as Ronin. He is effective and deadly when he wants to.

But of course he wasn’t gonna really fight Yelena.

Agent 19!!! She’s Mockingbird! I think they didn’t want to have AOS fans hating on the show so they only teased it. Bobbi Morse could still exist. I like the theory that Mockingbird is like SHIELD’s Black Widow code. Like an elite female agent.

That last shot and conversation was perfect!

I think I’m in the minority here, but I loved the musical!!!!! It’s so bad that it becomes good. Its ridiculousness makes it good.

Now, there was something pretty disappointing and that was Kingpin. I don’t remember almost anything from Daredevil season 2. But they kept teasing this incredibly dangerous guy. Clint and Laura were genuinely afraid of him.

Yet, an amateur superhero like Kate defeated him in 2 minutes! Plus, he should have died. Kate shot an arrow at his chest, then the explosion! And it’s obvious he’s still alive.

We also never really learned why he was so interested in the watch. What did Laura did that he wanted to know who she was? Clint didn’t even saw him. It was disappointing. Fanfic writers, I’m counting on you.

Also, where is Clint’s backstory?!?!!? I would have really loved to see flashbacks about his difficult childhood and how he overcame that, became a good man, husband and father. It would have given so much more meaning to why he wanted to go back to his family.

Clint is a guy who could have became like his father, he could have continued the cycle of violence, but he didn’t. He also could have been alone, or never married at least. That’s what usually happen in this cases in series and movies. Instead, he became the best husband and dad ever, and a person who is always giving second chances. He’s a tough guy for sure, but he’s also so incredibly loving and caring. And that’s rare.

*Laura somehow knew it was a bad idea to bring her boyfriend around her family before she even invited him to Christmas Eve dinner, but they all wanted to meet Clint, so she invited him anyway. They all sat around the table, and Laura’s relatives began grilling him. *

Laura’s mother: So, how did you two meet?

Clint: Oh, our roommates are siblings. 

Laura’s dad: And what’s your major? 

Clint: I’m a government major. I’m hoping to work for the federal government. 

Laura: He’s doing very well. He’s been visited by representatives from the FBI. They might want to hire him after graduation. 

Clint: The offer I’m really looking into is from the Strategic Homeland Intervention Enforcement and Logistics Division. 

Laura’s aunt: How nice. A job offer from one of the most prestigious organizations in the country and you want to join some group nobody even cares about or has heard of.. 

Clint: Well, I can do more of what I like to do with SHIELD than with the FBI. 

Laura’s aunt: I doubt a job at “SHIELD” could support a family. Laura, what happened to the last man you dated? Very sensible, we liked him. He was going to law school, correct? Why would you take a step down and choose this one?

Clint: Listen here, you heinous bitch! I’m top of my class and excelling at my training! It isn’t your place to decide who is and isn’t good enough for Laura!

*Laura’s entire family gasped. Her grandmother dropped her fork.*

Laura: Clint, why don’t you wait in the car?

*Laura came out after about 20 minutes.*

Clint: How’d it go?

Laura:  Apparently, calling my aunt a “heinous bitch” was not a good thing to do at Christmas dinner and now my entire family is mad at me.

Clint: Sorry. 

Laura: It’s fine. She deserved it.

That actually summarizes (very well may I add) my problem with ClintxLaura fics where Laura essentially treats Clint like another child and he pretty much acts like another child.

(This excludes fics where Clint is a competent parent but also a himbo)

Brutasha Week: Icebreaker Day

Heya! That’s my first time actively doing something on a shipping week, so I’m very excitedx33

Okay, I’m Isabella, been on tumblr since...way too longxD pls don’t ask me. And became a real Marvel fan since Age of Ultron. I did see Thor before that and thought it’s cool, though. Before going to the cinema to watch AoU, I’ve watched every single Marvel movie to be up to date and that’s when I became a fan^^

I started shipping them since AoU. Tbh I wasn’t considering this ship when I watched Avengers 1. I guess if that didn’t happen there, I’d never ship it. And so I’m one of the few ppl who can honestly say: Thank you, Joss Whedon for giving us the great movie that is AoU (seriously I like it a lot)

My favorite movie might be...Well if it’s about Brutasha then it’s definitely AoU, other than that it’s Infinity War and Endgame on #1, AoU and Avengers 1 on #2 Captain Marvel on #3, Doctor Strange on #4 and  Guardians 2 on #5.

Of course Brutasha is my OTP, but I also ship Nat with Tony and Steve. My other ships are ClintxLaura, StevexPeggy, TonyxPepper, QuillxGamora, ScottxHope, HankxJanet (duh) and I guess PeterxMJ (the new ones, not Sony) will follow.

Tbh I haven’t watched ANY rl Marvel tv show yet. Well, except letting Agents of SHIELD run on tv while I try to sleep is watching, then I ‘watched’ a few episodes of it. I guess I tried watching the Runaways, but it was so boring that I stopped at the first few minutes^^’ But I guess someday I’ll watch the whole Agents, just to see Coulson again and Agent Carter.

I’m definitely gonna watch some of the new upcoming tv shows^^

I did however watch some animated tv shows like Avengers Assemble, the 2 latest Spidey series’, Avengers Disk Wars, Black Widow and Punisher...and I guess this is it.

As for comics I’ve read every Black Widow comic I could get my hands on here, then I got the big Hawkeye books, Rocket, Marvel Babys, Captain Marvel, Avengers and Guardians, Captain America (the one where he’s ‘Hail Hydra’), Secret Avengers, 1 Thor book and of course the MCU tie-ins beginning from Civil War but I’m gonna get a book someday with every single tie-in ever ending with Infinity War I guess^^ I’m gonna show them at the merch day.

I also read Zombies Assemble, it’s a manga and sooo MCU it’s amazing^^

Oh and I shamelessly put it some advertising in ;P I’m writing brutasha fics and I’m accepting prompts for them (except pregnant!Nat). I’m also trying ironwidow atm. So gimme everything ya got. Just keep in mind that I’m not the fastest writer, but then I’ll try to be as high quality as possible~

Pas de Deux 2: Second Arabesque

Back in the studio, Clint makes something resembling progress. warning for tiny snippets of idiots (affectionate) ignoring their mental health, Clint punching above his pay grade, and Laura accidentally starting him off. Enjoy, my lovelies~!

Natalia shrugs with her good shoulder. ‘It will do what it has to do. I need to dance.’

He watches her watching the other dancers, something hungry and desperate in her gaze that he doesn’t think she is aware of. She is passionate about dancing in a way few humans are passionate about anything. It will do her no good if she runs her body into the ground, though.

 She chews on the pad of her thumb, curled into her chair. She looks small, even though she’s a good two inches or more taller than Laura, her red hair tangled and loose about her chin. Deep in thought, she seems to forget that he’s sat there until he stands. Then she flinches, away from him, as if expecting some kind of – he doesn’t know what. Russia must suck, he reasons, must be a tough place. He’s heard of the Bolshoi, of course he has, but he doesn’t know much about it. Best in the world, so he imagines competition is tough. Maybe she failed to get into the Bolshoi and fled here to get away from the shame of it.

He can’t imagine what he’d have done if after everything, S.H.I.E.L.D. had refused Coulson’s recommendation. He supposes they’d never have been able to refuse; he knew too much before he was through the door.

Hawkeye episode 5 SPOILERS

This is the last time I make theories. I’m just gonna sit and take whatever Marvel decides to give me, and then maybe I’ll read fanfiction.

I’m a little disappointed that we’re on episode 5 and we have not seen any flashback about Clint’s childhood or any other part of his past. I really thought they were gonna do it in this one. Maybe they’ll save it for the finale.

So, I’ll just list the good things first:

How cool it was to see Yelena before and after the blip! It really helps you realizing how it must have felt for someone who got dusted. It’s really nice how they keep coming up with ways to illustrate this moment, same with the Battle of New York.

She loves Nat so much.

She really likes to jump out of buildings! That’s actually kind of dark when you think of how Nat died.

I liked the conversation between Kate and Yelena about Clint. A lot of people are saying that he just walked away and suffered no consequences. And I think this show is really great at addressing that and showing the dark side of people who worked as assassins for anyone, even if they’re the good guys.

And I think Clint agree with Yelena, it was Natasha who saved the world.

Now, this wasn’t a perfect episode.

There were also a few scenes that took way too long IMO. If this were a 9-episode series, then it would be fine. But we’re running out of time and I’m getting anxious.

One was the scene with Eleanor and Kate. I think it could have been shorter.

And, as much as I love Yelena, her and Kate’s chat was also a bit too long. The first part. Yes, Yelena is so adorable, but also we’re running out of time!

Again, I think Clint’s backstory deserves a flashback. At least a mention.

I’m don’t think they’ll be able to tackle everything in 35minutes next episode. They may leave the Kingpin for the Echo series, but I’m worried.

BTW, Florence can’t post about her role in this series but someone uploaded Spiderman NWH in Youtube and the Multiverse of Madness trailer!!!

Clint: Come on, let’s go. 

Laura: Okay.

*Once they got to the restaurant, Clint spent the next hour and a half trying to work up the courage to pull out the ring. Just before they were about to leave, Clint finally blurted out what he wanted to say. *

Clint: We should get married!

Laura: What?

*Clint got down on one knee.*

Clint: What I meant to say was, “Will you marry me?”

Laura: Of course I will!

Pas de Deux

Following some vague intelligence from an Eastern European operative, S.H.I.E.L.D. send Clint Barton to a local ballet to find out more. His investigations lead him into the path of principal dancer, Laura, who helps uncover the mystery, and it goes about as well as these things always go. [Claura, canon universe but not compliant]

The second door opens out into the studio itself, a long room with one mirrored wall, barred and lacquered floor. It looks remarkably well-kept considering the rest of the building. There hadn’t even been signage. It’s airy, well-lit with the hum of the fluorescent lights, and it is also not empty.

Though she has a pair of headphones over her ears, and a little cassette player somehow affixed to her waistband, the door must have creaked enough that she drops from her stretch and turns to face him. She pulls the headphones from her ears, rests them around her neck, and digs a fist into one jutted hip, and she’s – she’s – she’s –

Fuck.

‘Can I help you?’ she asks, looks him up and down, and Clint Barton finds himself swallowing, too loud even to his own half-deaf aids.

She’s beautiful. Oh shit, she’s beautiful.
