WHAT A YEAR! ↠ Spent the first day of ‘18 teaching @kenny.x.hamlett how to cross-country ski on Mt. Bachelor in central Oregon. ↠ Moved into a new place with my love, in the heart of a snowstorm (of course)! ↠ Took an epic road trip for Kenny’s birthday week to The Buttermilk Boulders in California. (Where he met a bunch of @climbingncolor fans - and, I’ve never been more proud.) And, after the week of camping and climbing, got to soak in natural hot springs surrounded by the High Sierras. ↠ Modeled on the Oregon coast for @caitlacoop’s wedding photography website - used her gorgeous images for an April Fools prank (Sorry y’all)! ↠ Took a trip back to The Buttermilks + Alabama Hills with @marmot to model for their new fall 2018 campaign!! ↠ Went to Texas for @kategrace2 & Brian’s wedding weekend in Dripping Springs with the whole Deines crew, and spent my birthday exploring Austin! ↠ Kenny surprised me with buying a bus - for us to build out into our future home on wheels!! ↠ Got a bff kayak on a whim with @meg_plant, and spent plenty of time paddling this summer! ↠ Went home to Iowa to celebrate @chriskei31’s 60th birthday, and fell in love with my hometown (& the lifelong friends there) all over again! ↠ Went to DC for my nephew’s 1st birthday celebration! I love you so much, @westonjohngroth. ↠ Explored Seattle with @teresaprocter! And, had SO many other random excursions and adventures along the way... ↠ Continued my professional growth as a Craft-Tender at @diybarpdx, Social Media Manager for @madhippieskinproducts, and Marketing + Social Media Manager for @modernmacrame! ↠ Spent a lot of time in the kitchen - a place that is meditative for me - learning how to #fightfoodwaste and educate about living a more #zerowaste lifestyle. ↠ Met so many new amazing friends, from my new jobs to hosting people from all over the country/world in our @airbnb! ↠ Focused on being present with friends + family - the people who mean the world to me. ↠ Admired (& was inspired by) Kenny’s dedication to always learning and his photography skills! ↠ And, spent a lot of time alone.
