Did you know alternative history is in the same family as science fiction? Hunting Foxes is the cousin of Star Trek. It’s both strange and beautiful. 

Speaking of strange, I met someone the other night. I could’ve sworn he was Kurt Cobain — although I believe he came from France. And is very much alive. He asked me to write down my favorite artists, in which I happily obliged.

Life works in mysterious ways…

I believe they call it “kindred spirits”. Are we kindred spirits? I wrote down my name so he wouldn’t forget, although I can’t figure out why. I hope he remembers me.

He rides a bike, you know. Do you suppose I'll ride with him one day?

That night they were visited by the faultless sky and the horses shied and moaned and the men road on beneath the glowing of the stars like a nest of small luminescent eggs concocted alchemically out of the desert darkness. They rode for miles as all the world slumbered and as the wildcats stirred in dreams of hunt. We ride so long as there's road, one said. And there will be road. And they were gone in the iridescent moonrise.
