do y’all remember that book click clack moo. in hindsight that shit was hilarious. the cows UNIONIZED. the hens WENT ON STRIKE and the other animals REFUSED TO CROSS THE PICKET LINE. why? because bitch-ass farmer brown wouldn’t give them electric blankets. so they unionized. i am not exaggerating that is genuinely the plot of click clack moo.

a/n: like click clack moo. the cows that type..(my friend came up with the name). anyways i saw the gif above on twitter and i was like wow...hes stimming...so i wrote this in like 5 minutes smiley face. circa s1 when they were HAPPY!! even if the gif isn't from then (iirc)..

sam glanced over. dean paid no attention to him, still staring out the window, waiting for any possible sign that they needed book it towards the house they were watching. he was still.
click. shhhk.
"hey. hey, dean?"
he didn't budge, leaning closer to the window and squinting. there was a slight movement in the house's window, then nothing.
cllliiick.
sam nudged his shoulder. dean glanced over with a peeved look.
"what?"
"you're messing with your gun again. it's, annoying."
dean glanced down at his gun with a semi-surprised look.
"damn. didn't even realise."
shhhk.
"dude."
a loud crash outside drew their attention away from the situation at hand, bringing them out of the car and sprinting towards the house.

6 Books for Toddlers that are NOT by Dr. Seuss
Little Blue Truck by Alice Schertle
This rhyming book is cute and fun. My 1-year-old students loved it so much I eventually memorized it.
Click, Clack Moo: Cows that Type by Doreen Cronin
This one is absolutely iconic. It’s good for toddlers and elementary school children alike. It’s short and funny, and it’s a good way to introduce the concepts of unions and strikes to children.
The Pout-Pout Fish by Deborah Diesen
I’ve also memorized this one. Older kiddos will say the words along with you, it’s so much fun.
The Bunnies Are Not In Their Beds by Marisabina Russo
This book is a bit long, but the story and illustrations are so so cute. It’s about two bunny parents who are trying very hard to settle down for the night, but are regularly interrupted by their noisy bunny children -- who are supposed to be asleep.
Tails by Matthew Van Fleet
This one is a touch-and-feel book. The illustrations are really cute and kids can learn while also having fun touching the tails.
This is an oldie but a goodie.

I’m not sure if this is a reference or just a coincidence/my brain being weird but the way you phrased this makes me think of the kids book where cows get a typewriter and start making requests for items from the farmer.
What I can remember are that the cows wanted heated blankets and the geese wanted a diving board on the pond.
The name of it is “Click, Clack, Moo: Cows That Type”

i just remembered how much i loved reading amelia's notebooks, the amazing days of abby hayes, amelia bedelia, click clack moo cows that type, the teacher from the black lagoon, captain underpants, and mercer mayer's little critter books when i was a kid. 🥺
