what's up Psychonauts fans. Here's some stuff I drew. More under the cut.

what's really nice about the campers is how realistic their writing is. they can't all be "plucky" or willing to save the world like raz and lili, such as how although phoebe wants to be an agent, or offer therapeutical services, she's far more than willing to let raz handle it when asked. they each have their own dramas and social circles. everyone knows each other and has their opinions on each other like jt being hesitant to address bobby about stealing elka's profile because he's clearly worried more about aggravating elka than infuriating bobby. maloof's "journey" to becoming the top dog around whispering rock is completely compelling and told in a way that isn't rushed - he builds a bond with mikhail, and mikhail, with his own sense of jusice, is fine with assisting maloof. it's the smaller moments, too, like chloe's gentler, more considerate side shown to bobby compared to how she's far blunter with raz and nils.

i know there's been criticism about how clem and crystal were handled, but in regards to their personalities, what's written still fits. they're a great duo in how they separately deal with their negative thoughts, self-worth issues, suicidal ideation, etc, where crystal is still kind enough to believe people can be better while clem, with his abusive father, leans more into pessimism and dark humor to cope. it's make them fascinating individuals, but more importantly, they're great examples in how, for kids, being mistreated can manifest into those aforementioned feelings and how they're dealt with.

Razputin (Rasputin) - of the crossroads (Russian)

Lili - Alternate spelling of "Lily" or German, French, and Hungarian diminuitive of "Elizabeth", "God's promise" or "God's abundance"

Morceau - not an actual name, but the French word for a small piece of something (RUDE)

Sasha - Diminuitive of "Alexander", "defender of man"; if you're wondering how you get to "Sasha" from "Alexander", it specifically is from the Russian "Aleksandr". sidenote since he's German it should probably be spelled Sascha

Milla/Camilla - we don't actually know what this means! we know it comes from the Roman name "Camillus" but we don't know where that name comes from. "camillus" is a Latin word that means basically the ancient Roman equivalent of an altar boy, but this is probably unrelated to the name

Ford - a shallow place in a river or stream (English)

Dogen - this one is just made up. "dogen" is a word in a couple languages but they both have a soft g

Clem - short for "Clement", "merciful" (English, from Latin)

Crystal - just the English word crystal.

Maloof - variant of "Maalouf", a chiefly Lebanese surname from Arabic that may mean "exempt" or "protected"

Queepie - I don't think this is a real name but "queep" is a way of writing out a bird chirp

Helmut - possibly "whole mind" or "whole spirit", potentially "brave helmet" (Proto-Germanic or Middle High German)

Lucrecia - alternate (predominantly Spanish) spelling of "Lucretia", an ancient Roman name potentially meaning "profit". Notably Lucretia was the name of a Roman noblewoman whose tragic death was said to have sparked a rebellion that led to Rome becoming a republic. WARNING for sexual violence and suicide if you choose to look that up)

Zalto - yellow (Bulgarian), I think it might also be an Austrian or Italian surname but it's hard to find things about the name because it's the name of a fancy wineglass brand

Mithra - "oath" in Avestan (an Old Iranian language); the name of a Zoroastrian deity of light, justice, and friendship

Rokel - potentially from "Rockel", a German habitational name or a name meaning someone who bakes with rye

Gristol - not a real name but compare "grist", unground grain that's been separated from its chaff (the inedible parts, the word chaff is also used figuratively to mean something worthless or unwanted), used in the phrase "grist for the mill" meaning something is useful (particularly knowledge, experience, or information)

The Psychonauts Battle Royale consists of 64 characters and will take place over 6 rounds! Round One will be set to last a week as I gain traction, but later rounds may be shorter (let me know what you think!)

I chose characters (with only a few small exceptions) that exist only in the real world and are not exclusive to mental worlds, just to keep character divisions more clear! Did my absolute best to seed the poll interestingly and decently fair, but go easy on me, I've never done any big polls before!

I have already set everything up so I won't be taking any requests or changes to the bracket at this point, just go with what you see! The list of characters has been placed below the cut for your viewing pleasure.

Along with Marsters returning as William the Bloody, Slayers also sees the return of Charisma Carpenter (Cordelia Chase), Anthony Head (Rupert Giles), Juliet Landau (Drusilla), Emma Caulfield Ford (Anya), Amber Benson (Tara), James Charles Leary (Clem), and Danny Strong (Jonathan), as well as newcomer Laya DeLeon Hayes. Slayers is written by Amber Benson and Christopher Golden, writer of many Buffy novels, and directed by Benson, Golden, and Kc Wayland. In a statement, Marsters said “I’m ecstatic to be back with my dear friends for this next chapter in the Buffyverse, as we take listeners on a familiar but unexpected journey chock full of horror, passion and mischief.”

Clementine Ford is the peak of misandrist Feminism. She infamously got men fired from their business by stalking them online, and reporting to the business owner that they had used the word "cvnt" in private conversations -- which Feminists claim means they hate all women and girls, and are therefore subhuman scum. Note: Tumblr even said they would ban me for using the word. Anyway, when a woman disagreed with her on live television, she called her a cvnt. Nothing happened except applause. The lesson was clear from Feminists. Morality exists only as a weapon for them. There is no good in their souls, if they can even be described as having them, but they realise other people have good, and will manipulate them accordingly. Feminists cannot experience guilt. They have no shame. There is only darkness where a conscience once was. So it is hardly surprising to see the Clementine Fords of this world applauding the rape and murder of Jewish women and girls. The movement they led was never about helping women, it was about making the Clems grift better, making them wealthy and powerful, and fvck the poor people below. “Have you killed any men today? And if not, why not?” There was never any punishment for her deeds, because the censors of social media etc were fellow grifters, and murder and genocide means nothing to them except an opportunity for more grift. (Will probably forget some people, also only going from A-F, no S. Also also, I assume PS you meant like PN for Psychonauts. Otherwise I don't know what PS is.)

Aqauatos are all in A range for getting hugs except for Queepie who is a B because he's been hugged so much he would rather not be hugged some times but won't reject them often.

Interns I would say Sam loves getting hugs so A. Adam and Morris are Bs, with Gisu being in the middle of B and C. And then I can see Lizzie and Norma as not liking hugs so around E or F range for those two, other kinds of touch are fine though, just not hugs.

For the mentors/Counsellors I would say that Hollis is probably a C. "Nick Johnsmith" and Truman are As. Oleander is around a D-F range. Milla is also an A, maybe even an S if I am going to give that to anyone. Sasha is probably like an E or F, but when with Milla he turns to a C. (Will put Compton and Otto in later).

Oh damn, the campers. I'll add Lili in this group too. And since there's so many I'll do the letter first and then the names. A: Lili, Benny, Clem, Crystal, and Elton. B: Bobby, Chops, Franke, James, and Kitty. C: Dogen, Nils, and Quentin. D: Chloe and Elka. E: Maloof and Mikhail. F: Milka, Pheobe, and Vernon.

For the Asylum Patients I have Edgar at A and Gloria at B. Both Boyd and Sheegor are C. Fred is a D and Crispin is an F.

For the Psychic 7 are honestly all around the A-C range, at least with each other. Cassie, Helmut, Ford, and Lucy are A-B while Otto, Compton, and Bob art B-C range. I can see Bob becoming an F after Helmut's "death" but turn right into an A when Bob comes back. And Compton is only in that B-C range with the other Psychic 7, a C-D range with his family (at least when they were kids, he is more of a B-C when they get older) and then an F to anyone else he is not familiar with.

The main "antagonists" are Loboto with C, Gristol with an F, and Linda with an A. I didn't know where else to put Linda, and also can't remember if there were any other big bads. I am NOT doing mental enemies/bosses.

But yeah, I think that is almost everyone. I am probably forgetting someone, or accidentally doubled up somehow, idk. If you want more explanation on someone just ask, but this is already getting long and probably confusing.
