I know I made a post on it somewhere but I can't find it so Imma just make a new thing to talk about it;

Look Imma be real out of everything in FMA arguably one of the most fucked up, wtf moments has to be from the short little side story in the manga / anime OVA The Blind Alchemist.

So first of all we have a (wealthy) couple who have lost their daughter, a servant of the family and fellow Alchemist makes his own attempt at human transmuation . Unsurprisingly it obviously doesn't work but not wanting to break his heart/hurt him the parents lie to the poor man that it succeeded and instead adopted this little girl to act as their daughter Rosalie

Kinda fucked up but I mean girl doesn't seem to bothered and is happy to have a home so all good on that front.

Where it gets into the really creepy almost SUPERNATURAL side of things is that.... uh well the REAL Rosalie is like not dead??? Like her body is clearly in an almost mummified definitely dead state but like not rotting and you see it SMILE there is heavy implication that although he couldn't revive his daughter SOMETHING has come to take possession of her body but what it is who knows.

Like what??

Did... did this man accidentally open a portal and summon a Demon?? Arakawa please explain WHAT THE FUCK IS IN THEIR IF IT"S NOT ROSALIE

And then because it was just a short story written for the first fma Profile book just never gets expanded on. No further info nothing.

So like this implies that again while resurrecting someone is impossible at the same time like there's a chance that SOMETHING could still end up inside the body instead??
