Horror Movie Review: The Killing Tree (2022)

The Killing Tree has some fun tongue-in-cheek elements but bafflingly throws in a ton of dry and uninteresting drama that drags the movie down.

A holiday-horror with a concept that turns out to be better than the actual film, The Killing Tree (originally titled Demonic Christmas Tree) comes from writer Craig McLearie and director Rhys Frake-Waterfield. Middle School Choir Concert

The middle school students sing at the concert at Pawnee City School on Tuesday, March 16. The directors of the concert are Ms. Robison alongside accompanist Chad Rinne. For fifth grade choir they sang “In This Ancient House'' and “Over the Sea to Sky” which featured Clayton Brown, Haylee Plager, Jacob Bruns, and Addison Petersen. The junior high choir sang “Ten Songs of America,” “High Hopes,” and “Heave Away Me Jollies.” 

When asked about the middle school concert, Mrs. Veleba replied, ”I think the concert went very well. Not only did the students perform well, but Ms. Robison and I were extremely happy to be back in the auditorium for this concert. Even though working on songs can be tricky this early in the spring the kids did a good job.”
