this might sound like an odd one for me to be insane about considering they dont have too much going on in canon besides the typical "its cute i guess", and yeah i did not care about the beast pack at all when the game came out, but theyve slowly slowly grown on me a ton. in particular ive been very insane about their+the beast packs+elfilins dynamic in the samurai novel (I KNOW IVE BEEN SLOW ON GETTING AROUND TO TRANSLATING THAT ONE LOL IT WILL HAPPEN I SWEAR BY IT) and im just AAUUAGHHH THE FAMILY EVER. what really makes this ship click for me is that clawrolines not Just your lady whos around to be paired with the man, she has her own thing going on and her and leon really feel like equals. clawroline talks SHIT in the samurai novel its great. i love her so much. girlboss. leon meanwhile is your stern and perhaps overprotective dad, but hes very soft on the inside. its great its hard to go wrong with a subversion of the stereotypical straight relationship. certified i would die for them
