Within the last month and a half I’m seeing all these notifications about the class of 2020 all those seniors who won’t be walking across the stage and getting their diplomas in front of the ones who brought him to this point. And the solidarity everyone is showing they posting their own graduation photos to make them know they’re not alone. I was going to but then it dawned on me I’m technically a member of the class of 2020 as well. Yep 👍 after 12 1/2 years I was finally all set to graduate WITC Rice Lake with a degree in business management. The long way around and I finally would’ve made it. Sure I’ll get it, just knows that I can feel solidarity with those seniors and my fellow college graduates who lost their opportunity for celebration thanks to this pandemic. Nothing will take away from this accomplishment I can tell, just seems anticlimactic after all this wait.
