Truth be told, even being as careful as he was with his powers wasn't always enough. He was thankful that it was both too quick to really notice and that, in this particular instance, it was just one individual he had to deal with.

With talking, obviously.

He made it a habit to typically teleport to nearby alleyways or what have you and then manually walk to his destination; it seemed more natural, less suspicious. This time, however, his alley way of choice happened to be in the twilight stages of being cleaned up as a crime scene.

He doesn't reply initially, just glances over his shoulder to make sure it was just the pair of them. ❝ They don't tape these things off as well as they should nowadays. ❞ and there was some seriousness to the statement. While he hadn't intended to walk onto (or appear out of nowhere, rather) this one, it was hardly the first he'd just managed to exist within without much push back.

Though those had been cases of walking the walk and this had just been a case of, well, an accident. ❝ Doesn't seem like a very exciting crime scene. ❞ for someone that could talk his way three ways out of a corner, he sure could be the worst conversationalist.
