From what I've gathered abt this recent arc I wanna like Nightheart soooooo bad but he's literally the writing team's Gary Stu. Like I really do not wanna evoke the term with how thrown around this stuff gets but he really is not facing any consequences for being kinda a dickhead. I need an AU where he like, gets out of that angsty teen fog and realizes he was being an ass to his mother and actually reconciles. I need an AU where Sunbeam chews him out for ditching her and not trying to talk with her first.
