this is a small idea i’ve been playing with and don’t know if i’ll be going further

clarissa was often told by everyone that she was too much.

too perky. too smart. too emotional. too annoying. just… too much. so she put herself in a box and often tried to not be out of fear people wouldn’t want her around. everyone had told her that at some point. everyone except leonora.

lesso loved the way clarissa cared for students. loved how smart and caring clarissa was. she simply loved clariasa and everything about her. early in their relationship clarissa was hesitant to be herself out of fear that she would push leonora away by annoying her.

however, leonora still has a hard time with her own emotions and would hide them but clarissa could usually read her well and knew when to push and when to give leonora time to herself.

unfortunately, today wasn’t one of those days. leonora had the worst sleep, plagued with nightmares and she really wanted to be alone for a moment. clarissa was too excited for the upcoming ever never ball to notice and she was just talking and talking and lesso just snapped.

“clarissa just go away. you’re too much to be around right now!” the second the words left her mouth, leonora wanted to take them back. she didn’t mean it, it wasn’t clarissa’s fault she had a bad night.

clarissa’s eyes filled with unshed tears. “my apologies for believing you when you told me you wanted me around. i won’t make that mistake again.”

“princess wait!” the redhead called out but the blonde was already gone. “fuck!” she said angrily.
