Obviously since it is Valentine’s Day, I have Clarette and Beckett front and center, and she’s surrounded by the best boyfriend, sibling, and group of friends a girl could ask for. She thanks her lucky stars everyday for bringing each and every one of them into her life, especially knowing how lonely and hard it was growing up.

Hi! If you ever decide to write another Beckett fic would you consider writing one where he surprises Clarette on her birthday? It’s my birthday today and in the middle of it my brain decided it was “missing elementalists hours” and got me thinking 😂

First off, THANK YOU for reading 💖💖💖 you deserve all the cookies because you enable these two to keep on doing what they do best 😏 and sorry for the very delayed reply due to everything that’s happened irl, but to answer your question…

Yes, yes I am still very much writing Beckett and Clarette!! 

I’m just incredibly slow at it, not to mention all the real life stuff had my inspiration and motivation on hold because things have been hard ever since I’ve come back from Milan.

So here’s the thing:

My birthday is coming up, too. (March 2, for anyone keeping track 😏 and Pisces represent 🙌)

I’ll try to whip up something a bit self indulgent (more than usual) that falls into the confines of a birthday thingamajig, especially since this other Beckett x Clarette fic I’ve been toiling on for like, 14 months, is not the usual fare of happy.

In the meantime, and I know it’s over a year old at this point, but may I point you towards the Birthday fic from last year (if you haven’t read it already)?
