Harriet's weddingday

Dear diary,

My dear daugther Harriet is married. It was such a lovely day at such a beautiful church! Harriet choose not to get married at our home church but at Shinji's church. I completly understood as soon as I saw the church. It's so beautiful!

Above with all my daughters except Olimpia. She was sick. Charlotte is now back home. She and Lukas are not going on missions outside the country anymore. I'm very relieved. But Charlotte is wearing pants now. It's very sad to see my daughter go this way. I tried talking to her but she kept saying that Lukas is okay with it. If that's true, I must accept it.

And just after the wedding, Evangeline, came with wonderful news! She is expecting a second baby! She and Chevin have a boy, Raimundo and are hoping for a girl this time. And so do I since I only have grandsons!

our 25th anniversary

Dear diary,

We have been blessed with a granddaughter! And Evangeline named her after me! Lianna Faith Carlson. It's so precious to hold this little baby girl. Especially after all those grandsons.

We also celebrated our 25 wedding anniversary. I feel so incredible blessed to have live all those years with Marco and we are still going strong. We had an idea, a wonderful idea. We renewed our vows. I had tears in my eyes watching Marco promes me all those things all over again. I can't wait for the next 25 years.

We have been blessed incredible with our 19 childeren and 7 grandchilderen with another one on the way.

Olimpia's big day

Dear diary,

We had two birthday's recently. My two youngest are growing up to fast. I don't want them to grow this quickly. Since I probably won't have childeren anymore I want all the time I can get with them.

My baby Lilias is already a toddler. She wants to do all things by herself. Mommy can't help her. That hurts my heart even more. My youngest who doesn't want me.

And youngest son is a child already and goes to school. He is such a sweetheart and I'm sure he will make lots of friends.

And then we had Olimpia's weddingday. Once again, all the girls together but without Charlotte. We all miss her so much and can't wait for her to come back for her second baby to arrive. She and Lucy are due in just a couple of months. We can't wait to meet these two new baby's.

It was such a lovely day but I miss my baby already.

A family with 19 childeren (part 3)

Part 3 of the artikel of 'baby sims'. In part 1 we covered the whole family and the parents, in part 2 we covered the first 10 childeren of the family. Now it's time for the remaining 9 childeren. (AN: The ages are from my spreadsheat, not the ones in game. The photo's are the 'in game' ones so they don't match their ages)

11. Florence Rosa Doyle, age 12

Florence is the second one of the second set of twins. Where George is very serious and by himself, Florence is very active and loves to be around people. Especially her twinbrother. Just like her twinbrother, she is very creative. She is the best in playing the violin in the family.

12. Benjamin Robert Doyle, age 10

Benjamin is very smart for his age. He loves to learn everything his older brothers already know. He is always asking questions to them about what they do and what they are learning. Sometimes Benjamin can be a bit sad. But when he has spend some time by himself he does much better.

13. Ann Hope Doyle, age 9

Ann is very self assured. She is leading the younger ones in every activity they do. She loves playing music and is always happy hopping around the house looking for someone to play or chat with.

14. Stephen Frederick Doyle, age 8

Stephen is a normal eight year old. He loves to play outside all day long. On the monkey bars, the pirate ship or in the swimmingpool. And he probably brougth his cousin David along to play together.

15. Clara Alexis Doyle, age 6

Clara is a very sensitive little girl. She loves going to one of her big sisters and play with them or just hang out with them. Especially Aimee is her favourit. But she also loves to be part of Ann's club and follow her on a mission around the neighborhood.

16. Olimpia Fulvia Doyle, age 5

Olimpia is such a cheerful little girl. She loves everything and goes along with every project, idea or activity. As long as she is part of it she will be alright. She had Clara are very close. Olimpia knows one thing for sure, she wants to be a mommy just like her own.

17. Harriet Beecher Doyle, age 3

Harriet is still a toddler. And a very active one. She was very fast with learning how to craw and walk and by now she has mastered climbing on top of everything too. With her beautiful brown eyes she is the sweetheart of the whole family. She gets everything done with just a sweet look.

18. Phillip John Doyle, age 1

Phillip is the youngest son after a string of three girls. His parents where very happy to recieve a 8th son. Phillip is an angel and his parents wouldn't mind having another dozen of little Phillips. That's how easy he is. Phillip loves his blocks and his cars.

19. Lilias Corrie Doyle, age 0

Lilias is just a couple of months old and still mommy's little buddy. The family didn't thought Lilias would join their family since their mother was about to turn 40th years old. They where overjoyed with the pregnancy and arrivel of Lilias. She get's lots of hugs during the day of all her siblings. She sure will be spoiled growing up.

A family with 19 childeren! (part 1)

A family in sulani recently had their 19th child. All the childeren are biological childeren of Marco and Elianna Doyle. They have two sets of twins and 15 singletons in their family. Mom and dad are 40 and 47 years old and already grandparents to two boy's. We visited the family to see what life in a big family means.

First of all we have to learn their names: Charlotte, Lucy, Evangeline, Roger, William, Aimee, Susanna, Charles, Matthew, George, Florence, Benjamin, Ann, Stephen, Clara, Olimpia, Harriet, Phillip and Lilias. They all have names after important christian figures in the present day and from years ago. Above are Charlotte and Lilias not pitured. Charlotte is on a mission trip with her husband and son. She is expecting the couple's second baby and third grandchild for Marco and Elianna. Lilias is still a little baby and therefor not pitured.

Charlotte isn't the only one pregnant, her twinsister Lucy is also expecting her second baby later this year.

#16 of the family, Olimpia, recently got engaged. So another member will be added to the family in just a couple of months.

But why 19 childeren? Elianna and Marco both don't have this many siblings. Marco is the second of two childeren, Elianna is the fourth of seven childeren. But they both grew up in church and got the conviction that childeren are a blessing from the Lord and you shouldn't try to prevent having childeren. So when they got married at ages 25 and 18 they left their family size up to God. He blessed them with 19 childeren in their 22 year marriage.

Elianna thow is not the only one in her family with such a big family. She has both a sister and a brother with 10 childeren, and both a sister and a brother with 9 childeren. Elianna's parents have more then 60 grandchilderen! Elianna and Marco are hoping they will end up with such a great number of grandchilderen too. They are enjoying their current two grandchilderen and are looking forward to meeting another two in about a half year.

In such a big family their is always something happening. There is no dull moment. The family also loves music, they have a piano, mutiple violins and a guitar. All the childeren where taught to play an instrument from a young age and they are all pretty good at it.

The house has only three bedrooms, a masterbedroom and two childerensrooms. The two rooms are divided between the boy's and girls. Except for toddler Phillip who sleeps in the girlsroom. When Marco and Elianna started their family they didn't have much money so the childeren had to share a room. When the family grew and Marco started making more money the family upgraded their home but the 'only' two bedrooms stayed because the childeren loved sharing their room.

There are lots of places to play around the house. In the bedrooms, in the musicroom, the livingroom, the porch but also in the yard. The family has their own playground with monkeybars and a pirate ship. The family also has a swimmingpool since a couple of years. All the childeren are encoured to work out reguarly and stay fit. Their parents are a great example in this area. They both work out reguarly too.

A lot has happend!

Dear diary,

A lot has happend! Two birthday's, another grandbaby and an engagement. Our lives have been pretty buzy but we are loving it. Me and Marco are thrilled to see our little family grow. We can't really call it little anymore. We have 18 childeren, now 2 grandchilderen, and many more to come in the coming years I hope.

Olimpia was the first to have a birthday. She is a teenager now. Olimpia is a people person. She is always chatting with everyone. She is friends with everyone of her sisters. It's such a blessing to your eye to watch her interact with everyone.

Next was Phillip's birthday. My youngest! Because I'm 39 years old I don't thing we will be blessed with another little one. I'm trying to enjoy these last times of everything with my little guy. Phillip is such a little angel, the perfect youngest child.

Then there was Clara's engagement with Justin Moreland. They are very happy together and I can't wait to see them grow even closer when they are married. Love these two!

And then there was my second grandson, Michael Bauer. He is the first child of Lucy. Lucky Lucy lives closer to us then Charlotte so I can visit my second grandson much easier then my first. I love being a grandmother. I hope Phillip will have a great relationship with his nephew's since they are close in age.

Two birthday's

Dear diary,

We had two birthday's recently. Clara and Harriet are another year older. Clara is my twin, she is just like me, sensitive, romantic and such a great heart for childeren. Harriet is a very active girl. She is always playing outside.

Clara is already courting a man named Justin Moreland. I'm very thrilled to see her start a new season of life. I can't wait to see what the Lord has in store for these two.

A swimmingpool

Dear diary,

When the childeren come home from school we first drink and eat a snack. Then we it's time for homework. The girls both wanted to make it outside because it was such nice weather.

They are both very excited about the new baby coming soon. My belly is so big!

We recently had a pool build in our backyard. We live close to the beach but it's nice to have a pool in the backyard to have the childeren nearby.

The girls where thrilled when it was finaly finished and they could take a dive into the water.

Our first grandchild isn't even born yet, my 18th baby isn't even born yet but Lucy told us she is expecting too! So grandbaby #2 is already on the way! So special and sweet. Charlotte and Lucy are twins so it will be extra special for them to go trew this together. I remember being pregnant for the first time with my twinsister. It was so special and sweet to share that experience.

Olimpia's birthday

Dear diary,

My sweet daughter Olimpia is celebrating her birthday. She and Clara are thrilled to be able to go to school together. They love playing together and Olimpia was missing Clara during the day. Olimpia is such a sweet outgoing girl. We all love her very much.

These two girls are learning to play the violin. Clara is learning to play for a while now and Olimpia is now starting. Music lessons is one of the things in my house that is mandatory and I do all the teaching. My mother played the violin and my grandmother did too. I think it's very important to teach the next generation to play too.

Baby Doyle #17

Dear diary,

We have been blessed with a third daughter in a row. We named her Harriet Beecher Doyle after Harriet Beecher Stowe. We now have 17 childeren, 7 boys and 10 girls! Marco thinks we need three more childeren, three boys in a row to make it an even 10/10. I would love to be blessed with three more boys.

My daughter Ann got married to the love of her life, Derick Edmonds. It was a lovely day. So happy to see them get married. All my girls below except for little Harriet.

The ceremony was so thoughtful and I loved seeing them kiss for the very first time. So special to see my childeren save their first kiss before marriage.

Two birthday's

Dear diary,

We had two birthday's recently. In a big family like ours we have birthday's all the time. We love those and each one deserves a party.

This time it where Stephen and Ann who grew up. Ann has always been a spunky child but she really grew up into a self assured woman. She loves music and is always cheering up everyone around her.

Stephen is very active, always working out. If it's raining it doesn't matter to him. He will work out inside or in the rain.

Since Ann is an adult now, she started courting recently. His name is Derick Edmonds. He is a real man and loves to work out just like Stephen. That's how Ann and Derick meet.

I'm just enjoying my time in the nursery and girlsroom. There is always so much activity over there. Someone is making homework, the toddlers are talking so cute during their play and the girls love to make crafts on the table.

Love doesn't fade

Dear diary,

My daughter Clara celebrated another birthday recently. She and Olimpia will have to get used to not being able to play together during the day because Clara will go to school.

Clara is such a sweet senstive girl. She is so sweet to both her younger siblings and her older siblings. The sweetest! I think she looks a bit like me, not on the outside but on the inside. I know my mother always calls me sensitive too.

I'm sure senstive for a look of Marco in my eyes. It always weekens me completly. Love sure doesn't fade even after almost 18 years of marriage and being parents to 16 childeren. Being 36 years, I know I could have a couple more but this could also be the end of my childbearing years. For now it takes a bit longer then normal to get pregnant again. I'm patiently waiting for another positive pregnancytest.

Playdate for two cousins

Dear diary,

My sister and I have two little girls the same age, my Clara and her Rebecca. These two love to play with eachother. We go over to eachother all the time to let them play together. We just love for these girls to grow up as close as Fiona and I are.

It was me the other day who went to Fiona with little Clara.

She loves to play with the dollhouse, we need to buy one too. But she also loves to play with Rebecca.

At our home we have made some changes. We builded a room at the back of our home, where the porch used to be. This room is our new livingroom. The old one was situated in our diningroom but we didn't have much space there with all our childeren.

I love the new livingroom, it has so much space, air and greenary. In our 'old' livingroom we added a piano. I played piano as a child and loved it so to finaly have a piano in our home is so special to me.

Two birthday's

Dear diary,

My son Stephen and my daughter Clara are already celebrating another birthday. Stephen is such an active little boy. I love him so much. He is always running around after his big brothers.

Clara is such a sweet sensitive little girl. And she has such beautiful hair. Now that Clara is a toddler it's time a real playdate with her cousin Rebecca. She is the daughter of my twinssiter Fiona. Clara and Rebecca are the same age. Fiona and I have been looking forward to having our little girls play together.

I also have something to share with Fiona. I'm expecting again! Baby #16 is on the way. We are so thrilled to be blessed again. I'm almost 35 and I know my baby years are coming to an end faster then I want. But at the same time I'm so thankful with the 15, soon 16, childeren I'm blessed with.

Clara's big day

Dear diary,

My father is already 75 years old. I'm so thankful for him in my life. He was always there for me and my siblings when we where younger but also now that we are older with our own family's. I remember playing with him quite often. Now he is grandfather of 63 grandchilderen and 11 greatgrandchilderen. He and my mother are so blessed! And soon, there will be another grandchild to the mix because I'm expecting! My 19th baby! I didn't think that would happen. We feel so blessed to recieve another baby.

We recently had Clara's wedding. It was so sweet to watch her marry the love of her life. It was such a special time with all my daughters getting ready for the wedding. We had a blast.
