When he first saw it, he tried to scramble back, but its claws dug into his paws, leaving thin ribbons of blood in their wake. Bearface tries to squirm out of its grip, but it only bares its weight down harder. Panicked, Bearface sinks his teeth into the thing's paws, cringing as something sour and rotten hits his tongue, but with a full-body spasm, it lets go.
He doesn't have time to catch himself before he hits the ground, and the last thing that passes through his mind is how much it looks like Honeyspring.
