Me, realizing that book!Eve is just a grown up adult version of a certain female anime protagonist stereotype (Madoka Kaname; Tohru Honda)...only also in suburban America and not, you know, fantasy anime.

#musings #eve fletcher #it's weird because in the anime setting those are usually not my favorite characters #not my LEAST favorite by any means (looking at you sayaka)#but not my favorite #that's usually your homura akemi or akito sohma (or yuki or machi or rin) types #homura is more wanda #yuki and machi are more agatha #(rin is also more wanda)#claire is probably closest to akito (of these - she's a bit of an outlier)#((but also claire was not my favorite in go. brand was (and she fits more in line with those character types)))#so #eve's an outlier for that #i guess
