I just googled "definition of fascism" and you're not going to believe this boss
"reject modernity embrace tradition" isn't even a dogwhistle it's literally just saying regressive ideology directly. how does anyone not get this
#this looks like it's going to be incredibly rancid discourse#everyone should probably stay far far away from this one#especially since we've probably all seen completely different sets of memes using the phrase so it's easy to talk past each other#anyway I thought I'd clown the post above me claiming that 'all fascists believe X' and 'everyone who believes X is a fascist'#when a quick perusal of the Wikipedia article titled 'Definitions of Fascism' makes it really clear#that experts on the subject cannot agree on a definition#and that there are experts who cannot find a common belief that all fascists share#let alone something that only fascists believe#not that Orwell was an expert on the subject but he does a good job pointing out how it was used against literally every ideology in 1944#so#claiming to argue from an authorative definition on probably the hardest ideology to define in history#seems like a bit of a stretch#discourse#rancid#everyone should stay clear
