“ feel forgotten, me?? how could i, when every part of the city feels like an extension of you?? ” it’s not empty flattery, the words coming out sincere and easy as his brown eyes — god’s eyes — yoshiya’s eyes — tear away from the god in question to look out at city itself. “ i just hope things are goin’ well on your end and that nothing’s giving you trouble. you know i’ll be fine. ”

he turns to truly face yoshiya then, and there’s a reverence laced through his easygoing expression. “ ‘sides, you know i’d tell you if i wasn’t. ” the distance is far from a bother; he enjoys being in the active streets of this city, and the free reign he’s granted to do so is never something he’ll complain about. as it stands... he has no complaints.
