Gabriel could hardly believe how hard and fast he had fallen for the goblin king. It had been years since he’d been transported to this place, but it felt like months. To think, for that first year, he had been trying to find a way out. A crack in the walls of the labyrinth. Only to realise, he was right where he belonged. The settling in was one thing, but falling for Jareth was another entirely. From day one, the king had insisted he’d make Gabriel happy. Happier than he ever could have been back in his tired, isolated realm. Always averse to strangers, Gabriel denied his promises, time and time again, until he could deny no longer.

They lived together. Ate, played, bathed, and slept, together. But it was only now, with the feeling of Jareth’s burning gaze on his neck, that he could put a name to his experience. It was falling in love. He was in love with every part of the goblin king, from his most spoiled behaviours to his genuine care for Gabriel’s wellbeing. It was overwhelming to be treasured as much as Jareth treasured Gabriel.

“Are you feeling well, pet?”

A little gasp escaped Gabriel when he heard Jareth’s voice behind him. They were standing on a balcony in his castle, watching the sunset. “Why do you ask?” He stammered, briefly glancing over his shoulder before looking away again.

Jareth stepped closer, reaching over them and toward their hands. “You’re gripping your shawl like we’re in a hurricane,” he flashed a smile, unable to yield a quiet chuckle, “are you afraid of heights??”

Gabriel looked down and saw the sheer fabric tangled tightly between his fingers. He let Jareth ease his hands away and turned to look up at him. His face was warmed as he blurted fiercely, “For heaven’s sake, why don’t you just kiss me?”

They both paused, one startled by the revelation, the other unsurprised and quite satisfied. “Well, you never asked,” Jareth responded plainly, gently rubbing Gabriel’s fingers as he still held their hands. “But as I always said, I will grant your every wish… is that what you wish, Gabriel?”

“Do you love me?” Gabriel asked softly, rhetorically.

“I think you already know the answer to that.” Jareth matched his softness, then took his face in his hands and kissed him. It may’ve been the first time, but it would never be the last.

As for my friend... I'd say the same about him, but I don't think Hannibal or his husband have any particular plans right now, other than enjoying each other's company. It's good to see them focused on something other than mayhem and destruction, but I know soon enough they'll be back to their usual tricks. And I will be right behind them to clean up their mess.

Oh, hello! The hotel is... well, I suppose it's as it's always been. Gabriel and I just put new curtains in the front cabins earlier this week.

Employees? If we get more of a rush, maybe. I'd be anxious we wouldn't get along... right now, the two of us do just fine. He thinks we should advertise more, but I'm not sure I'm ready for that. I know people will find us when they need our services. I do hope the upcoming holidays will mean more travellers down our road, though.

Unfortunately, I think it would've been unlikely. As we are now, I met Svente at their absolute worst. From what I gleaned, it had been a long time at that point since they had been someone "pleasant."

It would've had to been at the very beginning of their career. I may've already been with Jill at that point. It's much better that we met when we did, I think.

Anything but myself, of course. Perhaps the world Gabriel comes from? It certainly doesn't compare to the Goblin Kingdom, but that is in part why I whisked him away. His spark doesn't deserve to be put out by such a... dull world.

Though yes, I do keep in mind this "so far" you've thrown into the mix... my truest "greatest achievement" will of course be conquering the fools of this Earth and being renowned for the genius I most certainly am!

Hello, hello, and thank you! I'll have you know I've been keeping my sweetheart quite cushy today, though he certainly needs that hydration reminder... anywho!

1. How much trouble have you ever gotten into with s/i as your accomplice? What was the consequence?

Ooh, now that's a toughie! There's been so many schemes, so many triumphs! And then again, so many times where we've ended up in the clutches of Batsy and the white coats, hhrrmphh.

There was of course that time they called the Justice League on us, hehehehehe, what fun that was! We had staged a high-stakes operation to unburden as many supercriminals as we could between here and Metropolis, but they slapped the cuffs on us before we got to those finnicky god-types... what a party it was while it lasted!

Still... far too much work. Almost lost our freedom entirely with that one. We'll stick to having our fun with Gotham from now on, unless something else piques my interest... hehehehHEHAHEHAH!

2. Do you share a bedroom? What does that look like? What are your bedtime routines, do they differ or do you do things together? Who falls asleep first? Who wakes up first?

Why, of course we share a bedroom! What does it matter what it looks like? Conquering the world doesn't just happen over one night in one place! I try to treat my dear Gabriel to what they deserve- The Best.

As I can no longer see myself, keeping tidy is quite a bit harder... Gabriel tries his best to help, but often it is simply off with the day clothes, a quick shower, on with pyjamas and right into bed for myself. It is much of the same for him, for different reasons.

Gabriel falls asleep first. I sometimes cannot keep my brilliant mind from rushing long into the night, though I always wake up first... sometimes I cannot sleep at all! There's so much still to be done, so much power to wield! How can a man such as I waste time with sleep?!

3. How do you comfort your s/o when they have a nightmare or anxiety?

My precious raven is on the more high-strung side, so I try to keep him grounded with firm, factual statements. There's nothing for him to fear when he's by the Invisible Man's side!

Well, I imagine Seamster met most of if not the entire team when he was hired. In terms of when they met within that fateful day, I'd say it was probably in the middle of the day. Though no one knew it at the time, Seamster was already taking notes to help him with the future repair of his colleagues' uniforms.

🕰 How quickly did you become friends?

Demo was one of Seamster's first friends! Though Seamster was adverse to the louder aspects of his personality, he also recognized that Demo was just plain nice to him every day, so the bond was formed quickly, eventually snowballing into a QPP relationship. There's no romantic attraction there but plenty of platonic kisses and cuddling!

Demo was also the first one Seamster came to about his eventual romantic feelings for Medic, Spy, and Heavy.

oh yay one of my newer guys!!!

Most of my s/i's lore with Lester, and his brothers, can be found here.

But to further expand on it, after Gabriel and Lester started dating, Gabriel moved into the ghost town where the boys live and "work." Bo is against them sharing a house with the brothers, so they live in one of the houses that Vincent hasn't populated with wax figures.

Lester definitely has an easier time getting out and about with Gabriel around. Yes, he was free to come and go as he pleased, and he did, but his habits always seemed to keep him at bay from the rest of society. Now wherever Gabriel goes, Lester usually goes, too.

For a long time, I didn't really have any ideas for lore/an s/i regarding my beloved Skellington, but that changed a couple of years ago!

Using the theory that Halloween Town is some kind of afterlife, my s/i's living body is in a coma, while his soul exists in Halloween Town. Initially, Jack plans to help him return to the land of the living, considering it's not yet his time, but it's soon clear that Cider (my s/i) belongs in Halloween Town either way. The two fall in love, and Cider eventually helps repair the relationship between Jack and Oogie Boogie, leading them to dating OB as well and becoming a sort of parental figure for Lock, Shock, & Barrel. :0]
