vote on. my poll please. i need to make a choice. i have 3 ocs - marblemottle (dilute calico), cindervoice (silver tabby), and tawnygrove (dark red-brown tabby). they were all ORIGINALLY born as kits to a couple named MOONHOLLOW (undesigned) and HONEYFRINGE (undesigned). they were then reincarnated and reborn to three new couples, all independent of each other. none of these couples have been designed yet. now. i need to decide if the trio (marble-cinder-tawny) has their patterns based off the original family, or if their patterns should be based off each of their new parents. sorry if this is phrased confusingly thats because its confusing.

thinking of a roleswap AU for my own ocs... i think cindervoice as prairieshell's apprentice, tawnygrove as the doctor, and marblemottle as an ordinary warrior (tawnygrove's original role) would be interesting see tawnygrove would actually be doing better as a doctor than he would as a regular warrior i think. his dad is still cruel about it but he has librastorm's protection/"starclan's will" on his side and i think he is genuinely just happier to not have to fight, even if he still gets anxious about working with injured cats...cindervoice is "doing better" in that i think they are more resistant to manipulation than marblemottle is, somewhat less aggressive and cold, but that probably makes them more dispensable in prairieshell's eyes... i definitely dont think cindervoice would be willing to try to kill tawnygrove, not as "willing" as marblemottle was at least. not that she was necessarily willing, just she was easily manipulated and really dependent on prairieshell's validation. and i think marblemottle would be better off Not being abused by prairieshell obviously. but without access to deputyship/any way to prove herself to her parents i think she'd start going crazy. prairieshell wouldnt care about her - he already doesnt even when shes his apprentice - other than as a threat, and frankly i dont think she'd Like him if she didnt have any reason to build a bond with him, and just wanting to have his role doesnt equal a Reason so. she'd probably just daydream about his death. and unfortunately she's still being neglected by/pressured by her parents to live the life they never did so the pressure might build to her attempting to kill him

marblemottle - being groomed by her parents and the deputy (her mentor) into being a violent, ambitious warrior who will do anything to achieve her (their) goals (successfully become leader/successfully kill tawnygrove, honeyfringe, and presumably cindervoice and herself)

frazzlefur - an undead cat who was brought "back to life" by the dark forest in return for her soul, has horrible amnesia, being manipulated by her brother (who killed her) and her father (a misogynist who is also training in the dark forest)

tundraborealis - not technically homophobic because everyone knew shrikestone was gay and she wasnt blackmailing him for being gay she was blackmailing him for being in love with ptarmiganborealis specifically

ptarmiganborealis - would be made gay because of yaoi

BTW i designed boldstar but i might change his accessoryyyyy im fooling around with an idea . well see marblemottle has a necklace that is moss wrapped together w/ a stone in the middle and ive been playing with the idea of its like a "leader" accessory that all the clan leaders have...Well. all the clan leaders (in this story specifically) have sort of shawls/necklaces with a gemstone in the middle but marblemottle just has the necklace and an ordinary stone (i imagine also she got it from prairieshell, to contrast with tawnygrove and cindervoice getting Their respective accessories from family members). so her wearing it is like, not Particularly confusing like you can identify her as NOT a leader but she is still signifying that she thinks shes better than you by identifying herself with the leaders like that. and also i think itd be fun if each clan used a different material for their accessory because i could give riverclan one made of fish net....woooah....

by the way i wrote down a "basic" sequence of events for the trio (marblemottle, cindervoice and tawnygrove) storyline i might ciuld post if i actually . um . went back and polished it at all. and by basic i mean i managed to barely cover any of it while also making it really long

the trio (marblemottle, cindervoice, tawnygrove): kits born of a prophecy, reincarnated by starclan, two of them trained in the dark forest

prairieshell: dedicated agent of starclan despite going against starclans orders

librastorm: actually theyre relatively normal. killed some prophecy children though

frazzlefur: revived after death by the dark forest

ghostpurr: part of an extremely religious clan that utilizes dangerous sacrifices to starclan, forever deeply connected to starclan, fought off dark forest possession

lightpaw: believes planes in the sky are aliens and that starclan is actually just aliens who destroy their lives and land so that they may one day take over. or some other nefarious reasons. well they just think starclan is aliens

honeypaw: goes along with lightpaw's ideals

starpounce: claimed by his mother to be a child of prophecy, actually not .causes him to join a rogue group and lead a revolution against the clans . also makes him think hes a god. something is going on with this guy !

bates family: firstborn son of each generation believed to be starclans messengers, actually messengers of the dark forest

struggling not to make a warrior cats oc thats inherently connected to starclan or the dark forest (cannot stop doing this . loves doing this so bad i looove you prophecy ocs i cant help it ...)
