Alya: For my son, I am willing to drown…lost in this darkness you all have. Cihan: After you get married to me, you'll keep living in this mansion, in "our darkness". Aren't you afraid at all that my mother might do something to you again? Alya: I am not. Thanks to you all, I am not, I can not. Aren't you afraid? That I might slice your throat? Why did you never tell me about this Cihan? Cihan: I don't like to talk about my past. As for the future, you are gonna marry just for your son, right? You don't have another purpose, right, Alya?

This is the couple we root for. Lol.

Sigh… He's made a huuuuuge mistake. We, unfortunately, will have to watch its consequences. Now, the trust between them is broken. She has every right to not trust him anymore and he's very well aware of it, that's why he suspects she might do something dangerous.

Sadakat is so unpredictable because she acts first and then they show the reason in the next episode, lol. For example nobody could have ever guessed she thought Alya's the real intention was to kill Cihan. Like, the woman is definitely cruel, I know, but then in the flashback we saw Cihan's first wife really tried to kill him. This Şeyda matter is more complicated than it seems. Demir will be a pain in the neck, that's for sure, he is always around them and seeding doubts between the family members.

He doesn't like her word choice about "darkness". It's like she was saying they were rotten to the core and he's too proud to be called that. His intention might not be evil - that's why he found the word bothersome- but in the end he didn't act fairly and disappointed her.

Why didn't you give my mom up to the police? To marry you. You know perfectly well the reason. I'd have lost my son, what could I do? You tell me. You mom said that if you married me, she would surrender herself. She or me, she said. What were you going to answer? What would you've told your mom, Cihan? Could you've said you would marry anyway? Of course not. You couldn't say it. Because you wouldn't have married. If I had gone to the police, nothing would've changed. You're a witness. Would you be capable to testify? Would you've said your mom shot me? You'd never. You'd do your best to justify her. And she would come at me and start threatening me again. Nothing would change. Nothing would happen to your mom. And I'd have lost my son.

Sadakat Albora might take pleasure in being her torturer, but Cihan is her jailer. He alone holds the keys to the kingdom (and to her freedom). Alya never, for one moment, forgets that. It makes her hate him the most, more than all her other enemies (and who even knew she had those?) put together. He says (sincerely, always so sincerely) that he is sorry as he brings her new clothes, after Sadakat throws her old ones away. Clothes that are befitting of Doctor Alya Albora, renowned OB-GYN at the Toronto Hospital Center, working mom with a busy schedule of lectures and patients; and not of Alya Albora, wife to Cihan Albora, the leader of (in)famous Alboras of Mardin. Cihan is always so sorry, though. He is sorry that he took her son, sorry that he threw her in jail, sorry his mom shot her, sorry that he can’t let her just go. And Alya fights the sick urge to spit on his face, hearing that word again. To maybe scratch him with her nails and see him bleed - she didn’t appreciate the sight nearly enough the first time. She wonders if he would be mad, drag her around by the arm and yell at her. (A part of her Alya refuses to even acknowledge knows he wouldn’t raise his hand back at her. She saw the contempt in his face and knows that, for all his faults, he isn't like Nare's husband.) He would probably just stand there and take it, she decides. Proud and unwavering, with infinite patience and resignation. As if that too was his burden to bear. That stops her action. Her pain and suffering are not his to bear. They might be his fault, but are her own burden. And she won’t give him the chance to act as some kind of silent, misunderstood, hero, suffering in silence. She is the hero in this story, and he is the devil to be defeated. “Good,” she says instead, “maybe I will find something proper to wear for my job interview with Mine tomorrow.” She watches as he falters for a moment, surprised, and adds, “you can sleep in the couch.” “Alya, mom might…” “The couch, Cihan.” She repeats, finally feeling pleased with herself. Her bed might not be her own tonight (or for the next how many years of this farce), but neither will be his.

I need all the fics, but mostly I need all the Uzak Şehir's AUs. The ones where Cihan and Alya meet and do fall in love in five seconds, the slow burn ones where it's thirteen years later and Alya still leaves - despite all the feelings there might be -, the ones where Cihan lets her go because "if you love something...", the ones where he doesn't let go and shows up on her doorstep in Toronto (can y'all imagine Cihan in Canada?!), the ones where her son truly becomes an Albora and Alya and Cihan have to deal with it, and basically all the AUs you can I think about, I need them. The potential this show and these characters have is just insane.

He has a weird way to protect her. Putting her in jail first, then wanting to take care of her. She has every right to get mad at him.

Alya: I am not afraid of you all. Go and talk to the prosecutor. Why are you still here, go! I'd rather be locked up here for the rest of my life but I will never marry you. I am not afraid of you. Cihan: But I am afraid of the things that might happen to you.

Cihan: You will dismiss your attorney, Bahadır. Do you hear me? Alya: I don't get it. Cihan: You won't meet that douchebag attorney, you won't work with him, what is it you don't understand?! Alya: Talk properly. Cihan: Look, that bastard collaborates Demir. Do you understand?

You can tell he is really furious because he never used foul language around her before. Even after she warned him, he continued using swear words.

Cihan: You are a mother. Your handcuffed photos can not be published. Alya: Is that so? Cihan: I will not allow it. Alya: Wow. Cihan: Listen to me well, if one of those photos is published, you will see if I I give them hell or not. Alya: Enough. Cihan: Enough for what?! Alya: Don't play with me like a cat plays with a mouse! I will give them hell, you're being considerate now? You put me here, remember!

He is angry because her attorney really collaborates their enemy, Demir, and that's why all journalists knew she was getting arrested. He got mad, reprimanded the journalists, commanded his men to destroy the photos. But she righfully gets angry as well because if wasn't for him, she wouldn't go through all of these in the first place.

Alya: Mr. Officer! Cihan: Alya, why don't you understand me? Alya: Mr. Officer, please get this man out of here! Cihan: Okay, don't tire yourself out, I am leaving. Alya: Get out. Cihan: I will. Look, you will stop working with that guy. Alya: Get out. Cihan: Have you eaten? Alya: Oh, God! Cihan: Do you want me to send something? You've been here since yesterday, if you want something, I'll send it with the guys. Alya: Get the hell out of here! Cihan: Are you hungry or not? Alya: GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE!

It's probably because he saw her stumbling outside, he is worried about her health but this is hilarious. In the middle of their fight, he is like "by the way, are you hungry? Say whatever you want to eat and I'll get my men bring it." I HAVE NO WORDS.

Cihan negotiating with others vs. Cihan negotiating with his little family

Cihan: *you can f.ck off if you don't agree to my terms*

Alya: *saying one by one what she wants* Cihan: *not uttering a word, just nodding*

Deniz: Uncle Cihan, can I sleep here tonight? Don't "tsk" to me. Cihan: You turned out to be quite a bargainer.

So basically that means they're quite bargainers. It must run in the family.

Uncle Cihan doesn't allow him to sleep there, though. Because his wifey is hurt, needs to rest and her wound shouldn't be touched even if accidentally.

They're not aware of it but there's a weird family situation going on here. Deniz asks for CIHAN'S permission, not ALYA'S.

And CIHAN acts like a family man and calmly handles the matter for HER.
