I wanna write more about Cicero and Anthryn that has more conflict so I can dig into all that juicy complicated conflicted stuff that makes Cicero so interesting, but lord christ I'm bad at coming up with plots

The most important/best part of writing fanfic to me is capturing a characters voice. And also, one of things that I'm most attracted to in a character is their voice. And so I really like writing and reading phone sex fics. And there is no analog for phones in The Elder Scrolls. Letters just aren't the same because it's not auditory and you don't have that breathing and moaning into the microphone. I don't know how to capture that with Cicero, even though I'd fucking love to know what he'd come up with. Any magic I could make up to facilitate such a thing would be an obvious contrivance... Mutual masturbation, maybe? And somebody is tied down? Idk.

Cicero moved silently past Anthryn's turned back, watching them accost the training target with violent, powerful thrusts, each attack sending shivers of arousal down though him. He walked quicker, with purpose, towards the bedroom, and didn't even bother to take off his boots when he flopped down onto the bed, just his gloves, which he threw onto the bedside chest of drawers. This will be over with quickly, he reasoned. It usually was.

Just read Death and Things Worse. Wow. All I can say is thank you for creating this masterpiece. Your service to nonbinary Cicero fuckers is unmatched, AND you have such a good grasp of his character imo. Keep up the good work

Ah! What a delightful message to wake up to, thank you! At first I was worried about giving a name and identity to my Listener at all, so I'm really happy that people, and especially other nonbinary people, are able to identify with Anthryn and use the fics as the reader-insert type of thing that they're rooted in. I'm also happy about the second wind that Death and Things Worse has been getting. Maybe I'll get to write more about conjured dongs after all.

It was impossible for Anthryn to keep their eyes off of him for the rest of the meal, which he seemed to relish with exaggerated delight, and he looked over to them every so often to make sure they were still watching him. He always basked in their attention. He was greedy for it. Mother would not have him but the Listener loved to hear him speak, and he loved to provide for them. That he could provide them with anything was gratifying, exciting, but it also stirred feelings that itched and burned and which he pushed away into the edges of his brain.

Death and Things Worse has performed the worst out of all of my Cicero fics, I assume because not as many people are interested in anal sex or Cicero bottoming. This is a shame because Cicero is incredibly fuckable and absolutely loves to get pounded
