hi everyone I'm turning this into my combination tes fandom / yume-selfship blog

I'm new to the community on tumblr, but I've been selfshipping in private for awhile and just want a place to be a bit more open ♥

my husband is Cicero of Skyrim fame, who I've loved since March 2015, and finally married in October 2022 I am non-sharing - for now, I'm okay with doubles interacting, but I can't promise I'll reciprocate because of how it's run, I consider every member of the Dark Brotherhood (past and present) to be familial f/os, special emphasis on Sithis and the Night Mother obviously

as of editing this post, I'm now yumeshipping with Copia from the band Ghost!! mostly queerplatonic, only slightly romantically I don't mind doubles with him, feel free to interact in any way you're comfortable!

this is my main blog, so along with the fandom/yume combo I'll be posting other things sometimes, probably not very often

😑 How easily do they get jealous and how do they handle it? Sun likes to act all aloof, but even he gets jealous, and it can really get under his skin. When he starts to feel it he tries to indirectly seek praise and validation from Cicero, or try to win him over in a way with thoughtful favors/gifts. I honestly think Cicero is pretty matched in terms of jealousy. But more in terms of feeling inadequate to whoever he's jealous over, and might get really competitive with them at least. He also likes to seek validation from Sun, but as he gets more comfortable maybe in less covert ways.

🐱 Do they have pet names for each other, if so what are they? How does their partner feel about their pet name? Cicero still calls him "Listener" even years into the relationship, and in Cicero brand it's usually prefixed by whatever adjective best fits; like sweet listener, dear listener, poor listener, etc etc. Sometimes he might sprinkle in a regular pet name, but I'm not sure! Back before they got together he'd call him "Sunny" just to piss him off, and still does as a joke. Sun loves pet names and nicknames, and when it's not something mean, he'll say things like "honey," "sugar," or the ta'agra word for sugar, "var(o)" (var also can translate to life) with the added O making a pun with Cicero's name. (and rolling off the tongue easier)

🦀 How did they handle realizing they were in love? Embarrassed? Nervous? Mad? Big melting pot of all three, I'd say! They had so much bad blood at first, growing together was very reluctant for both parties. Sun was convinced it was just a weird phase of confusion, while Cicero was just conflicted in every possible way. But, their mutual respect grew alongside their affections, and as time went on they eventually came to terms with the pining!

🌤 What is your favorite summer activity to do as a couple? God there's so many things it's hard to pick... I really love swimming, and will drag cici along even though I don't think he likes to swim very much. And I imagine cici himself would love collecting seashells to present to mother the same way he does with flowers. Another thing I really enjoy is beach campfires - they make for some really good memories, especially with friends.

⛱ Do either of you get sunburnt easily? Does the other think it’s cute, or do they worry over it? Both of our white asses burn easily, and cici has it a little bit worse. I know he'd go crazy worrying about me while I still have to remind him to put sunscreen on himself. Though in the event he does get burned, I would really enjoy taking care of it for him (it's also kinda cute yeah).

🦢 - what's a petty argument you'd have with your f/o? I can see the thing we'd get into the most fights about is interior decoration. ofc we'd have a lot of overlap in taste, but just enough difference that we'll be squabbling over which coffee table to take home. on the topic of living space, I think we'd also disagree on aromatics sometimes. we both like them, but cicero is more a candle guy while I'm an incense guy

🪽 - what was your first kiss with your f/o like, if you've had it? honestly lmao I have so many different first kiss thoughts, I've never really settled on a single one. I think, generally, it would be a much bigger deal for him, and while I enjoy it I'd probably be more distracted by the way he reacts lol

🪼 - what’s your favorite way to feel closer to your f/o? at the moment it's engaging with and contributing to the dark brotherhood in the ways I can, like engaging with the community it has in fandom for example. it's his entire life, which he cares so deeply and puts all of his energy into,, putting my energy into it gives me this indirect but very deep sense of understanding and comradery with him. I also have a lot of my own reasons for loving the brotherhood, so it's also just nice to be able to bond over something we mutually care about :33

🫐 what's your sleeping arrangement with your f/o like? do you share a bed? do they cuddle you, or talk in their sleep?

we do share a bed! I'm very sticky with cicero so most of the time I'm cuddling. during deep sleep we may shift around, though we're always touching at least in some way both of us have nightmares, so sometimes one of us will jolt awake and need some comfort from the other

🧁your f/o is planning a surprise date for you two! what do they choose?

knowing him, he'd probably pick out a fun looking contract and try to inject some romance into it. something that would require collaboration that we could work together on,, maybe a little picnic afterward?

💕 Who confessed first and how? Did it go as planned or did shenanigans ensue? To be honest I don't have the entire thing planned out- But, both of them would hold their feelings in forever until something tips it over the edge, probably dramatically. Cicero would be the one to spill the beans first, I imagine during an argument or some other heated discussion just because the feels are so unbearable for him in the moment. A very difficult hurdle to get over but something they needed <3

🦋 How long did it take them to get out of the awkward early relationship stage? Have they gotten more confident around each other? It was absolutely awkward! They already went through the awkward transition from hating each other to actually being chill, so nothing they weren't already used to! Cicero is a huge ball of nerves about being with the highly esteemed Listener, and it takes him a while to not freak out over the smallest affections. Sun is simply experienced and still confused as to how he ended up here, but he learns eventually <3

🤝How did they meet in the first place? What was their first impression of each other?

It was the usual wagon wheel shtick- Sun got a really weird feeling from not only Cicero but also his wagon, and thought it would be the safe choice to just comply and help him out. He was only able to compromise with Loreius and borrow the tools to do the fixing himself, lmao Cicero was very charmed by the handsome young man coming to his rescue, but on the flip side Sun was getting bad vibes the whole way and just wanted to get it over with without any trouble. Very interesting for both of them when they ran into each other again in the sanctuary!

🫶 Who ended up falling first? Which of them actually realized that they’d fallen in love first?

That's a tough one! From the beginning Cicero was infatuated, but didn't have much affection or respect for Sun beyond that. It was a very slow process for both of them, but once they started to build that mutual respect I think Cicero was the first to fall with that head start. He was also the first to recognize his feelings! Sun is less experienced in romance, and by the time he realized his feelings it had already been months since they showed up.

that's a good question I'm actually not sure!! I think he would try to be Different and give out candy that aren't as common to get,, he also likes sour so I think I he might want to spread the joy of sour candy to the children with some weird shit like lemonheads but! I think in general the trick-or-treaters would love him,, normally people look at him weird but on halloween he would just seem like someone who's really good at committing to the bit of his costume jfhfjsdjfhs
