This was the first time they had radically altered your pan’s grasp of what someone looked like, though.You weren’t going to forget the image of him, tiny, clutching a stick and climbing guests to feel tall, not probably until you saw him again. And yet. 

There were apparently very few universes that you found yourself tolerable. Grand Highbloods have a reputation and it was one you knew to be earnt, your worst traits and tendencies spun out through a thousand thousand carnival mirror, made larger than even your life. Ringleader was one of the rare few direct alternates you actually liked and respected, despite the familial bond all church siblings claimed from you. 

You want to help. His universe is blighted, and yours is not. You want to help, and you will. You don’t need to feel your aims perfectly align, that the church in his universe had little to do with that Psiioniic seeming like the better option. You just need to not want the clowns and other psions nonstandard to be hurt. You’re fine with helping this churchbrother and his righteous congregation out. 

You like his paint, the colours he dresses in, the straightforward way he moves. His is a harshwhimsy that differs from yours. Mayhap you could harmonise.
