Several years ago, during an era known for dialup internet chat rooms, this image went viral. In fact it was so widespread, at one time in history you could do a google image search for "fat guy" and this would almost always come up first. Unfortunately most of the posts you'd find this iconic polar bear chub was for fat shaming or comedy. It was commonly used to warn online chat users to be aware of who they really might be engaging with. From my perspective and those with our special interests, we would say the opposite is true. I would have loved to chat with him, whoever he was.
