“Shamanic Batteries” From a series of sculptures made over the late eighties early nineties. Each individually constructed in glass and steel. These “batteries” were conceived as energy cells powered by organic and preternatural components. Single cell, duel cell and multi cell to fuel the necessary energy for transmogrification or flight. Some of the contents embedded in wax included: poppy seed heads, straw, dried lemons, dried pomegranates, poppy seeds, hair, vanilla pods and many other additives to numerous to mention in minuscule amounts.
