Under the Mistletoe
I wrote this little story for Christina’s (@nebulablakemurphy) writing challenge. Congratz on 500 followers hon x (considering it’s been awhile since I started writing this, you probably have loads more followers now)
I know this is long overdue, it’s been in my drafts for a very long time. But I finally finished it, (I hoped I would have finished it in time for Christmas, but since it’s the beginning of the year, it’s still acceptable right?) so I just decided to post it.
Anyway hope you’ll enjoy reading this :)
I used prompt 10 from humor, it will be in bold
Pairing: Draco Malfoy x Fem!Reader
Words: 1410
Warnings: none, I think. Perhaps semi bad writing?
(Y/N) - your name
(Y/H) - your house
Tumblr media
You were sitting at the Y/H table, casually eating your breakfast when suddenly your favorite Weasley's flopped down next to you.
'Well hello there Y/N' George grinned up at you 'Don't you look lovely today' Fred smiled at you cheekily. You raise your eyebrows in surprise 'I'm wearing my school uniform, there's nothing lovely about that.'
'That doesn't matter, love, you still look lovely' he winks at you, which makes you glance at the twins in suspicion. They never complimented you like this and when they do they always want something from you.
'All right what do you want?' You sigh 'what makes you think we want something?' George asks in false hurt, clasping his hand over his heart dramatically. 'We can't even be nice and compliment our friend?' Fred chimes in with his brother's acting.
'I know you two, whenever you compliment me like this, you guys definitely want something from me.'
'She knows us too well Freddie' George says to his twin 'it appears she does Georgie' Fred sighs dramatically. They give each other a look and George groans 'fine' 'all right, so you want to help us pranking again Y/N?' Fred asks you.
'Depends on who you want to prank' you say, playing with your food while being lost in your thoughts. 'This will be legendary, we were planning on pranking Malfoy' the twins' smirk at you.
'Malfoy? Are you serious? I'm sorry, but you are on your own, I'm not helping' you shake your head and make your way to stand up, but George and Fred force you to sit down again. 'Is it because you like him?' They ask simultaneously while wiggling their eyebrows.
'Are you guys crazy? Of course, I don't like him, what were you thinking?!' you whisper yell indignantly. 'Then prove it, if you really don't like him, help us prank him' Fred smirks  "You are not going to let this go until I agree on doing this, will you?" "nope," the twins grin smugly. "Ugh fine" you sigh in annoyance "but just this once" you continue. "Yes!" Fred and George exclaim excitedly and high-five each other. "What's your plan?"
----
After many eyerolls and sighing, trying to get out of helping the twins, you reluctantly agreed to carry out the plan. The reason you didn't want to help with pranking Malfoy, was because you had a massive crush on him. No one knew about it, although Fred and George might since they were constantly pestering you about it. However, you didn't want to admit to your feelings publicly yet, so you decided to go along with the prank. Seeing as you didn't want Fred and George to know as well, despite having a feeling they were onto you.
Because you desperately wanted to 'proof' you didn't have a crush on Draco, you were setting up the prank in the early morning hours. Fred and George were somewhere on the lookout, they would let you know if someone was coming. The plan was to have Draco be glued to someone who he at the very least disliked.
You were surprised when Fred and George knew he was always roaming the halls of Hogwarts way before anyone woke up. You wondered if he perhaps liked the quietness, you knew for a fact that you did. Fred and George had planned for the prank to play out in the dungeons, specifically near the Slytherin Common Room. That is where you were currently finishing the last touches on the prank.
Just as you were adding the last touches, you heard footsteps approaching. Quickly you went to hide in your hiding spot. You could clearly see the blond Slytherin nearing the prank with every step he took.
However, before you could comprehend what was happening, you felt an invisible force push you towards Draco Malfoy. You stumbled and collided with his chest. You smiled sheepishly at Draco, your cheeks reddening "hi" you mumbled. "Hello Y/N" he grinned down at you with raised eyebrows "fancy meeting you here, do you normally stand this close to a guy or am I an exception?"
"Of course not, do you usually act like a pompous arse?" you ask him innocently, to which he chuckles. "You're cute, did you know that?" You huff in annoyance "I am not cute" Draco smiles to that, but soon his face turns serious. "Well, it was interesting to meet you like this, but I am afraid I must continue. So if you could step aside, that would be lovely."
You take in his facial expression and wonder how he will react to your answer. "I would love to if I could, but if you haven't noticed yet we're kind of stuck to each other." Draco's eyes narrow at that "What do you mean?" You pause, hesitation written on your face. After contemplating for a while you glance at the ceiling. Draco, noticing your glance, follows you with his eyes. His eyes widening in shock when he sees the mistletoe hanging above you.
"So we're stuck to each other until we kiss?" Draco asks horrified "Well yes, that is essentially the purpose of mistletoe" you reply dryly "unless you want to wait for the off chance of someone finding us and knowing how to get rid of it without us kissing." To which he glares at you "very funny Y/N" he replies sarcastically."Yes, I know I'm funny, thank you" you grin "are you serious right now?" he asks with a bewildered look. "No, I'm Y/N" you joke "Salazar, you really have been spending too much time with the Weasley's" he mumbles under his breath. "What was that?" You ask, not having quite heard what he said "nothing" he replies quickly, to which you narrow your eyes in suspicion. Eventually you decide to let it slide, not having the energy to get it out of him.
"Alright, I have an idea" his voice pulls you out of your thoughts. "What if we trick the mistletoe by kissing each other on the cheek?" You look at him to see he is actually serious about his 'idea', baffled by the fact he doesn't know that wouldn't work, you shrug your shoulders. "I know for certain that's not going to work, but you can try if you want" before you know it, Draco plants his lips on your cheek, which causes your cheeks to redden. However, like you said, his action did not work as you are still stuck to each other.
"Well, that did not work" Draco mumbles dryly "yes, just like I told you" you replied. “Obviously, smart arse” he rolls his eyes in slightly annoyed. Before you can reply, a piece of parchment suddenly floads between you and Draco. You look at each other in confusion. "Well go on, what does it say?" Draco eggs you on, you roll your eyes and take the parchment out of the air. "It says: oy stop with the chit chat already and kiss each other for Merlin's sake." Your brows furrow at that, until you've come to the realization this was the twins' plan all along. Get you and Draco in a secluded spot and trying to get you to confess your feelings towards him.
"Bloody hell, someone's watching us? My father will hear about this" Draco is now seething. "Well maybe we should listen to the note" you suggest while shrugging your shoulders. Which results in Draco giving you a bewildered look "are you sure you want that? I don't want you to feel pressured, we could just-" he gets cut off by you grabbing his face and planting a kiss on his lips "I love you even more for caring about my consent" you say with a smile "did you just say you love me?" he asks with a grin. You open your mouth to say something, but he cuts you off "it's a good thing, because I love you too."
You can't hide the smile forming on your face "good" you answer and lean in to kiss Draco again, your hands gripping his blond locks.
After a much needed air break, you lean your foreheads against each other "where have you been all my life?" Draco murmurs contently "hiding from you" you answer with a grin plastered on your face. "Merlin, you are going to be the death of me" he says while grabbing your face to kiss you again.
Meanwhile Fred and George share a high five "Mischief managed" they whisper to each other simultaneously, grinning from ear to ear.

Make a Scene
Using the quote “Excuse me, I have to go make a scene.” for @nebulablakemurphy writing challenge!
Tumblr media
Summary: Sirius has to ‘rescue’ you from another student at an end-of-year party (drinking involved) Word Count: 1398 Note: I’ve been in a writing slump and it’s painfully obvious. Moodboard made by @it-was-three-am. Also a big thanks to @obsessedwithrandomthings for boosting my confidence a bit with this one. 💕
The end of the school year was always a chaotic time at Hogwarts, especially for the older students. NEWT’s had just finished, so seventh year Gyrffindors were celebrating with a huge party in the common room.
Sirius walked over to you, handing you a glass of firewhiskey. “Doing alright hun?”
“Yeah,” you whispered, taking a sip. You glanced around the room. Parties weren’t typically your thing, but you knew Sirius enjoyed the event and this would be your last party at Hogwarts. You observed the students around you: half drunk and either dancing clumsily or shamelessly flirting. You stood in silence for a moment, startling when you noticed Sirius was still next to you. “Go have fun, love,” you urged.
“Nonsense,” he urged, wrapping an arm around you. “I’m not leaving my gorgeous girlfriend alone at the last party of the year.”
You chuckled, leaning up to kiss him. “My hero.” You could’ve sworn you saw something flash within him.  Minor change in disposition from your words.
“How was your charms NEWT, love?” He gave you a gentle smile, trying to make you feel comfortable.
“Fine, I think. I mean, I studied and I know I tried.” He nodded at you, silently reassuring you. “How was yours?”
“Not sure.” He paused a moment, scanning the room. “We don’t have to stay here, y/n. I know a lovely spot-”
“Sirius,” you giggled, “I’m okay, I promise.” You gave him a weak smile and another kiss. “If I didn’t want to be here I’d leave, yeah? Go join the party, Sirius, I know you want to.”
“You sure, y/n?” He scanned your face for any signs of uncertainty. “I don’t want to leave you.”
“Yes, I’m sure,” you giggled, gently pushing him forward. “I’m gonna go find some friends.”
He threw his hand to his chest in mock offense. “I thought I was your friend!”
“Idiot,” you giggled, matching his smile as you both walked off. You turned back to watch him, meeting up with James and Remus as they laughed.
You wandered around, carefully sipping from your glass as you searched for your friends. Grinning, you met up with them and sparked conversation.
***
The hours passed, the drinks went down, and students slowly went up to bed. Your friends started yawning, and despite your best efforts went up to the dorms. You were left alone in the corner, trying to search the room for Sirius.
One of your classmates sauntered up to you, smirking as he went. The drunken sway in his walk and lopsided smile was more than enough to make you step a few inches back. A fine chap he is, truly. Quidditch team keeper, towards the top of the class, decently nice. However, everyone knew how he got with a few firewhiskeys in him.
“Hey there, lovely,” he slurred, stepping just a bit too close to you.
You tried to inch backwards, but his body and arm against the wall blocked you in.
Meanwhile across the room, Sirius was showing off his dancing skills to an unimpressed James. Completely not paying attention to you.
“Hi,” you murmured emotionlessly.
“Y’know you’re really… something.” He winked at you, flashing a haunting smile.
“Sure,” you gave a polite half-smile. “My boyfriend seems to think so.” You notioned your head to gesture towards Sirius.
“Forget about him.” He looked down at you, sizing you up like prey. “How about you and me have some fun tonight? None of him involved.”
“No thank you.” you looked down at the floor, but he slipped a finger under your chin, tilting your head upward to him.
He leaned forward, about to kiss you when you brought your hand up, giving him a nice punch across the face.
He yelped, stumbling backwards. “Merlin!”
The commotion drew the attention of Sirius, who’s drunken brain tried to process as fast as possible. Just as it clicked, the drunken brute was back on his feet and stumbling towards you.
“Excuse me,” Sirius said, turning to Remus and James, “but I have to go make a scene.”
Sirius half ran, half tripped over the carpet to your corner of the room. Jumping in front of the problematic Gryffindor, he attempted a strong punch, but landed a rather weak push. This was, however, enough to knock the equally as inebriated student back a few meters. “Not my girlfriend you… you slut!”
Giggling, you pulled Sirius towards you, assuring him you were alright. “No, y/n,” he cut you off. “Imma kick him again!” Sirius tried to run, but your grasp kept him in place.
“You’re my hero, Sirius, but I’m alright now.” You gave him a pleading look, attempting to drag him up the stairs. Sirius grinned at you, following along.
Luckily, the drunken fellow had been distracted and escorted (rather forcefully) to his dorm by James.
“Y/nnnn,” Sirius whined when you reached the bedroom door.
“Yes love?” You nudged the door open, leading him inside.
“I barely got to see you tonight. We didn’t…” he paused for a moment, contemplating, “dance!”
“Sirius, what?”
He placed his hands on your hips, beginning to sway. “I didn’t get to dance with my girlfriend at the party.”
You giggled, draping your arms around his shoulders and beginning to sway with him. You wormed out of his grasp, walking across the room and turning on the small old radio. Soft music began to play, satisfied you returned to Sirius, who was looking like a lost puppy in the middle of the room.
“I’m here, I’m here,” you muttered, rejoining your hands with his own.
You rested your head on his chest, humming softly with the music. He kissed the top of your head.
You swayed for a few more moments before you felt something press against your lower stomach. “Sirius, are you hard right now?”
He groaned slightly out of embarrassment. “Can’t help you’re too sexy, dear.”
You let out a breathy laugh. “And you’re drunk, love.” He let out a whine, similar to that of a disgruntled toddler. “How about a bath?” You suggested gently, looking up into his large brown eyes.
You ran the water in the prefects’ bathroom, letting the large tub fill up. You took Sirius’ hand, guiding him into the tub so that he wouldn’t slip. You stepped in after him, laying back between his legs and resting against his chest.
He hummed in content, wrapping his arms around you. You kissed his forearms and silently turned so you were facing him. Reaching down to stroke his erect length, you pulled him into a passionate kiss. Surprised at first, Sirius quickly reciprocated, moaning into your open mouth. You sunk down onto him, earning a satisfied groan from the both of you. You bounced on top of him as he trailed kisses down your neck and chest. His hands came to massage and tweak the swell of your chest before sinking below the water, giving attention as you neared your high. You clenched tightly around him, moaning as you came, triggering his own release.
You lifted off of him and stepped out of the tub, causing him to whine at your loss. Smirking, your wrapped a towel around yourself before helping him out of the tub. You draped your arms over his shoulders, pulling him in for another kiss before handing him his own towel.
“Thank you, love,” he whispered as you guided him back to the dorm room after dressing.
“For?”
“Y/n,” he groaned.
“Of course,” you chuckled, giving his hand a light squeeze.
He opened the door for you to the dorm. “My hero,” you laughed.
“Unless you’d like another round, dear, I suggest you stop calling me that.” He shot you a wink, climbing into the large bed and beckoning you to join him.
Smiling, you joined him. Nuzzling your head into his chest, he wrapped his arms around you. Your breathing evened out along with his, falling asleep together rhythmically.
***
The next morning would be your last at Hogwarts. You woke up next to a groggy Sirius looked down at you.
“What?” you giggled, meeting his gaze.
“Nothing,” he murmured, “just so pretty.”
“You or me?” you joked.
“Yes,” he gave you a cheeky grin before kissing you.
“Love you,” you whispered, nuzzling into him.
He draped an arm over you, enjoying the morning peace. “Love you too, y/n.”

Hide and Seek
#5 “Yes I’m bitter, it’s part of my charm.”
Draco x Reader
Another one for @nebulablakemurphy ‘s 500 celebration!!
This was going to be longer but I don’t have access to my laptop for the next two weeks and wanted to post this 😅
“Draco please,” you begged for the millionth time that day, “you know Pansy won’t go to Hogsmeade when it’s snowing, and I don’t want to go alone.”
“Hogsmeade is for kids Y/N,” the boy sitting next to you on the dining bench rolled his eyes and continued eating his breakfast and ignoring you.
“We are kids you prat,” you elbowed him in the ribs ever so lightly.
You’d been friends with Draco Malfoy for as long as you could remember. Your families had always been close, as pureblood circles usually are. Together you had played hours of hide and seek in the manor gardens before Hogwarts. When it was finally time for the two of you to head to school, you had nervously clung onto Draco’s hand for the entire sorting ceremony, all the way until they called your name.
It was lucky you’d been sorted into Slytherin, most of the people you knew were sorted there and Draco was no different. He wasn’t your best friend, but he was your oldest friend. This was exactly the reason why you could never in a million years tell him outright that you were hopelessly in love with him.
“Fine, if you stop whining I’ll take you,” the blond boy muttered without looking up from the book he had folded open on the table.
“I knew you’d come around,” You grinned and returned to your breakfast.
“You’re lucky I love you,” he teased and lightly kicked your foot under the table with a smirk, never taking his eyes off the pages in front of him. You nearly choked on your toast but managed to hide it with a cough.
It wasn’t uncommon for you to be affectionate towards each other. A hug, an arm around your shoulders, one of you messing with the other’s hair, it still caught you by surprise every time.
Like now, Draco had one arm slung over your shoulders as the two of you walked through light snow to get to Hogsmeade. Even through layers of sweaters and gloves, you swore you could feel the heat radiating off his arm. With the tiny snowflakes sticking to your hair and robes, it was comforting.
“You should really come stay at the mansion for a few days over Christmas break,” Draco squeezed your shoulder with a small smile, “Mum hasn’t stopped talking about you since…well since forever now that I think about it,” he let out a short laugh.
“We’re already coming down for the yearly ball Draco, I can’t just live at your house,” You laughed and shook your head. Narcissa doted on you like you were her own child and Draco never stopped making fun of you for it. He always swore she loved you more than him.
“Yeah but I never get enough of you,” he smirked as your cheeks darkened to a terrible red. At least you could blame it on the chill, usually it was painfully obvious. Sometimes you forgot how flirty your friend could be, and how much it actually affected you.
“I’m sure if you beg hard enough I can find some time,” you bit the inside of your cheek to keep from grinning like a fool every time Draco cast a glance at you.
“Speaking of begging,” he stopped walking, people milling about you, making their way into the small town a few streets down. “I know you really don’t want to and you hate doing me favours but would you be my date for the ball this year?”
The Malfoy Christmas ball, an annual tradition beloved by all Pureblood families. It was a chance for everyone to get together, catch up and let loose a little. You loved those parties, it was a chance to see all of your childhood friends and dressing up was always a guilty pleasure. As a kid, you’d mostly spent the night running through the manor or stuck to your mother skirts. No one expected you to really behave as a kid but after the age of sixteen, everyone’s parents pressured them to bring a date and act ‘adult’. It was just how it had always been done, and even though you were aware how old and stiff Pureblood traditions really were, you couldn’t exactly say no.
Normally Draco was quick to get a date, he was handsome and smart, and no intelligent Pureblood would turn down a Malfoy. You however, were a little less enthusiastic about the prospect of dragging a random boy along with you all night. Nevertheless, you did (ditching them as soon as your parents had a glass of wine in them).
“Dray you know I would but…I’ve already said I’d go with Theo.” Your mouth tilted into an apologetic smile as you shrugged. Your heart was pounding in your chest, the one-time Draco asked you to go, even just as friends, and you already had a date…Fuck.
“You’re taking Nott? Seriously?” Draco scoffed, giving you a look of disgust.
“What’s wrong with Theo? He’s a nice guy!” You crossed your arms defensively. Draco was never a fan of your dates, he was just protective over you, but it still got on your nerves.
“Yeah he’s nice to you because he wants to get under your skirt,” he sneered and rolled his eyes.
“Oh my god, you’re so bitter!” You said, throwing your hands up in frustration.
“Yes, I’m bitter, it’s part of my charm,” he sighed accepting defeat, “come on.” He grabbed your hand and steered you into Hogsmeade again hoping to get out of there faster, so he could wallow in self-pity.
“You call it charm, I call it having your head up your ass.” You shake your head but let him drag you along anyway. “Listen if it makes you feel better I’ll help find you a date alright? I already know who’s going with who, the girls won’t shut up about it.” You chuckled to yourself at the thought of your dormmates and their late-night gossip sessions.
“Alright fine, but you better not stick me with Bulstrode,” Draco’s tone was snippy, but you knew he wasn’t really annoyed. He only wants to go with you as a favour, not a real date, you couldn’t help but think.
Finding Draco a date was easy. You had barely mentioned it to your dormmates in passing before Daphne had practically pushed her younger sister forward like a sacrificial lamb. Astoria was a shy girl, only a year younger than you. It was her first year taking a date and the poor girl had been wrecked with nerves, so Daphne had been on the lookout in her stead.
The worst part was, Astoria was gorgeous. She was this petite girl with gorgeous long dark hair and the clearest skin you’d ever seen on a teenager. It was awful. Not that you were jealous of course, you just knew she was more Draco’s type than you would ever be.
But with your mum’s help you had been primped into the elegant daughter of a Pureblood family. It really was a once a year occasion. Your dress robes were fitted perfectly to your size and your hair had been curled perfectly by expertly performed magic. Not yours of course, your mum’s.
With a soft pop your family apparated to the front gates of Malfoy Manor. Theo was waiting for you there and gave you a big grin and a wave when he saw you appear. You waved back and met him halfway to the large iron gates barring entrance to the mansion itself. You parents left you with your date and continued up the walkway.
“Hey Y/N,” Theo smiled and roped you in for a hug, “you look really nice!”
“Thanks, you too,” You picked at your dress robes and tucked a bit of hair back into place. Theo was in most of your classes and you were always happy to buddy up with him for projects. He wasn’t exactly the smartest, but you had a lot of fun together and you didn’t mind doing most of the work anyway.
Theo was dressed elegantly in basic black dress robes, he was never one for extravagance and you kind of respected that about him. Taking his arm you made your way through the manor, knowing exactly where to find the huge ballroom it housed. Draco often complained about the house because it felt so gloomy and empty sometimes with only the three of them living there. However, with music pouring through the halls and people laughing and talking over each other it felt very much alive and warm.
The pair of you were careful to avoid the dance floor and make your rounds among old family friends. A friendly chat here, an ‘I haven’t seen you since you were this small’ there and introducing your date to family members. It was a formal start to the night but it was always better to get it over with before the adults had too many glasses of fire whiskey in them.
Draco hadn’t been able to keep his eyes off you since the moment you stepped foot in the ballroom. You were all smiles and laughter as you walked around talking to Theo. His own date had been trying to get him on the dancefloor for the past twenty minutes but Draco refused to let you out of his sight for a whole song.
You looked stunning. To Draco you always did, but sometimes he forgot how much you affected him. He watched Theo whisper something in your ear and you responded by throwing your head back and letting out an obnoxiously loud laugh. Draco thought it was the most amazing sound in the world. Though, he was less pleased by the thought of someone else making you laugh like that.
“Do you think someone put a hex on him when he was younger, so he’d permanently look constipated?” Theo whispered in your ear as the both of you watched Professor Snape sneer at the people on the dance floor.
You couldn’t hold back your laughter as you watched your teacher grimace when someone tried to speak to him. You knew he was close with the Malfoys, but you always wondered why he actually showed up to these things. It was however a great source of entertainment for the evening.
“Nott good to see you,” The blond appeared out of thin air in front of you.
Subconsciously you held your breath as you cast a lingering look over his appearance. Black robes with a dark green lining, hair perfectly gelled back showing off his aristocratic bone structure. You swore you were melting into a puddle in front of his eyes.
“Cat got your tongue Y/L/N?” You hadn’t even noticed him speaking to you. You drew your eyes back up to his and a mischievous smirk rested on his lips as he repeated, “Dance with me.”
“That’s not a question,” you jab Draco’s side but take his outstretched hand anyway. “see you in a bit Theo?” You smiled at him as he nodded and shooed you away with a wink.
“You know I like you in green but if you were going to match me you should’ve just come as my date,” Draco smirked and pulled you closer to him. His hand slid easily to your waist as you rested yours on his shoulder.
“Oh, shut up,” you rolled your eyes with a smile on your face, “you don’t own the colour green.”
“I’m glad I don’t because you’ll always look more stunning in it than I ever could,” he leaned in to murmur in your ear, his hand squeezing your hip ever so lightly. If he hadn’t been holding you, you were convinced your legs would have simply given out under you.
“You’re not so bad yourself,” you responded shakily. His slate grey eyes bored into yours and he almost looked like he was searching for the answer to an unspoken question.
“Draco!” a female voice called from a few meters away and the boy in question closed his eyes and groaned.
“If we run now, do you think she’d find me?” he whispered dramatically. The girl stalking towards them was in fact his date.
“Wanna find out?” You whispered back with a cheeky grin and grabbed his hand before pulling him towards the large double doors of the ballroom.
The two of you ran through the hallways of the manor side by side, robes whipping about you and footsteps echoing behind you. The two of you were laughing your heads off by the time you had escaped the house into the gorgeous gardens. Together you ventured farther into the garden, a light frost covering the grass and plants surrounding you.
“Draco?” This time the woman calling out your companion’s name was unmistakeably Narcissa Malfoy. She did not sound pleased at her son’s antics at all.
Draco’s hand found yours again and he pulled you along with him behind a nearby tree. You opened your mouth to complain before he covered it with his hand and shook his head. You could hear Narcissa retreating back into the house, but Draco didn’t move. Instead his fingers lightly touched your cheek, his thumb brushing over your cheekbone.
He was so close you could smell his cologne, it was earthy and warm, and you were back to being in danger of melting. You were nearly chest to chest and his body caged you in against the tree. You felt your breath hitch as his eyes left yours to look at your lips. His cheeks had a light pink flush to them as he swallowed and licked his lips.
“We should really go back.” He said softly without conviction. “I’m sure Theo will be wondering where his date ran off to.” He teased with a quiet laugh.
“Draco?” you said softly and he hummed in response, “shut up.” You breathed and pulled him in by the collar of his dress shirt.
You kissed him with everything you had. It wasn’t slow or tender, it was fiery and passionate just like the both of you. You kissed him for the first time like it could be the last. He kissed back with everything he’d been holding in for years.
He melted into your touch and pressed you against the tree trunk with his body. The bark dug into your back but you could only pay attention to how soft his lips were and how he was a really good kisser. His hands roamed from your waist to your rib cage to your hair as he feverishly kissed you.
He reluctantly pulled back for air and searched your face in the moonlight. The cold air doing nothing to cool down the heat in your cheeks. Draco’s eyes were wide and for the first time in your life he looked unsure of himself. You looked at him in that moment with all the love in the world and couldn’t help but smile. His face was just as flushed as yours and his perfect hair fell into his eyes from you running your fingers through it.
He leaned in to kiss you again but this time softly, so gentle as if he was afraid your break under his touch. As if he wasn’t sure you were real at all. He kissed your nose, peppered little kisses along your jaw and kissed every inch of your face. He leaned his forehead against yours, noses bumping gently.
“You have no idea how long I’ve wanted to do that,” he sighed, eyes closed. You could hear the smile in his voice and your heart fluttered.
“I can guess,” you giggled lightly and gave him a quick peck on the lips.
“I am so incredibly in love with you,” his voice was barely above a whisper and held all of the emotion you couldn’t see on his face.
“I love you Draco, I always have,” you smiled brilliantly and kissed him again, never wanting to leave the hidden spot you had found for yourselves.
“Time to face my mum now I suppose?” He grimaced and buried his face in your neck with a sigh.
“Together,” you chuckled and grabbed his hand, placing a light kiss on his golden hair, “at least you already know your mother loves me.”

Hello everyone! This is my entry to @nebulablakemurphy 's 500 followers celebration (congratulations again! I'm sorry if I published this drabble later than expected). I decided not to put my usual header so that this piece can be distincted from the others. Lately I've been having some trouble writing stuff, but I hope you all like what I wrote, even though it's a little short! ✨
pairing: Fred Weasley x reader, George Weasley x reader (platonic)
prompts used: “Are you going to eat that?” and “Apparently there’s a bet going around”
warnings: none. There might be some grammatical errors since English is not my first language.
In my fifth year at Hogwarts, my school had been chosen to house the Triwizard Tournament. Two other Wizarding institutes participated to it, and some of their students along with their headmasters had come to stay.
Hogwarts had never been a more cheerful and happy environment than in that moment. Everyone was excited by the arrival of the Durmstrang and Beauxbatons students, who were admired by all.
Some of us started sneaking out of the dorms, to meet up with the visitors, while others started doing strange (sometimes even dangerous) challenges to provocate the Durmstrang boys.
My boyfriend, Fred Weasley, and his twin brother George had decided to participate at the Triwizard tournament but miserably failed. To be honest, I had fun watching a very old version of themselves fight and blaming each other on their failure.
One morning, I had walked into the great hall for breakfast later than usual. I didn't really know what to expect, but as soon as I sat down, I noticed the Weasley twins holding sandwich bread in their hands. Scattered around the dining table, there were lots of unusual ingredients which did not seem to be those used for a normal sandwich.
“Fred. George. What in Merlin's beard are you doing?” I asked the two boys “I mean, are you going to eat that? I love sandwiches, but what you're preparing doesn't seem like one at all ”.
“Apparently there's a bet going around” Fred answered me, putting what seemed red pulled pork between his two slices of bread, then topping it with a green, gooey sauce.
“We need to prepare a sandwich with some exotic ingredients, and eat it.” George added “Fred's is the better looking, for now. I'll make something so breathtaking that you'll need to eat a dozen of mints”
“I must say, this looks absolutely delicious, love” I remarked, looking at Fred's creation “But it's not safe for you, and George as well, to eat that abomination. You'll get sick”
“Then we'll come out as winners! We will eat this like it's a chocolate cake, or a milkshake, your favourite! Don't worry, love. We're absolutely going to eat these sandwiches”
“Yeah, sure thing” I muttered.

Cheers Love
Sirius x Reader
It’s been so long since I’ve written anything let alone for Sirius so please be nice. This one is for @nebulablakemurphy ‘s 500 celebration! I looooved writing this blurb, it’s good to be back to writing.
PROMPT: “I’m not drunk enough for this” WARNINGS: Alcohol consumption? Uh I didn’t even swear in this haha
It was not an uncommon sight for you to be slung over the sofa in James and Sirius’ apartment on a Friday night, drink in hand. The room was filled with chatter and music serving as the soundtrack to many a conversation. Remus and Peter were currently involved in a very heated game of exploding snap, loser having to finish his drink. A small crowd had propped themselves up to watch them play and several girls looked ready to challenge the winner to a match.
Across from you, Lilly was animatedly explaining her theory behind Patronuses and how they chose their form. Her legs were strewn across James’ lap who had one hand resting on her thigh lovingly.
“I’m just saying, there’s no way it’s a coincidence James is a stag while also having a stag Patronus…right? Y/N back me up here!” Lilly urged you as you sipped on your mixed drink.
“You make some really good points Lil,” you nodded along with a small smile as James tucked a strand of her fiery red hair behind her ear. They were the sweetest couple you knew.
“I dunno Evans, we all know I’m a gorgeous hound and my Patronus is an ordinary black mutt,” Sirius dropped onto the sofa next to you with a dramatic sigh. You were forced to sit up straighter unless you wanted to spill your drink all over yourself.
“You’re a mutt in every way Black,” you smacked his arm with the back of your hand.
“Hey now, be careful, someone could take offense to that!” Sirius smirked at you and finished his drink while maintaining eye contact with you. A light flush warmed up your cheeks as he winked.
There was no denying that he was an attractive man. Even at school he had always been confident, flirtatious and clever. You’d never seen him in a relationship before, but you had seen a string of boys and girls alike leave his dorms the morning after a party. No one was immune to the charms of Sirius Black, including you, though you’d never admit it of course.
“I’m not drunk enough for this,” the man in question groaned from next to you and hid his face in your shoulder. You looked up to see what had caused this reaction and were met with James and Lilly completely wrapped up in each other, their lips glued together like their lives depended on it.
“Oh, come on,” you chuckled and patted his head, “I think it’s sweet. They’re willing to suffocate for each other!” you let out a soft laugh as your fingers raked through Sirius’ curls gently.
“Well, I wish they’d do it in James’ room,” he muttered under his breath, his tone was sharp, but his aristocratic features held a gentle smile. He plucked your glass from your hand and downed the rest of your drink.
“Hey! I was drinking that!” You exclaimed with a frown and stopped stroking his hair.
“Too slow,” Sirius grinned and stood up from the sofa. He grabbed your hand and tugged you up to stand beside him. You were almost entirely pressed to his side, you could smell his cologne as his arms circled around your waist to steady you, “let’s get us another drink then, love.”
Love. That one word sent shivers down your spine every time he said it to you. It was one of his many nicknames, but it was the one that made you weak in the knees every single time. With one hand on your lower back Sirius pushed the both of you through the small crowd in the living room and into the kitchen.
Sirius busied himself with your glasses, mixing ice, spirits and mixers easily. He was of course, a natural bartender. He pushed his shaggy black hair out of his eyes and licked his lips in concentration. He turned to face you, drink in hand and a proud grin on his face. He handed you a glass and his fingers grazed against yours. Sparks shot up your arm, just like every other time Sirius had touched you. Innocent, friendly touches that made you question your every move. No one ever electrified you the way Sirius did.
“Cheers Y/L/N,” he clinked his glass against yours with a smirk. You took a sip of your drink at the same time as he did.
The sounds of people laughing and talking fading into the background. The two of you secluded in the kitchen, Sirius was closer than you had thought. His eyes drawn to yours every time, there was no escaping the suffocating tension between you.
He stepped closer, placing his glass on the counter behind you, his arms caging you against the cold marble surface. Your breathing hitched as your wide eyes roamed his face, landing on his lips. His hand trailed up your arm and stopped only when he had reached your jaw. His thumb trailed across your lips and you let out a soft sigh.
“Y/N I-“ he leaned in and his lips touched yours ever so lightly. They were softer than you had imagined, gently coaxing you to respond. And respond you did. Your arms hooking around the back of his neck, hand sliding into his untameable hair. His hand still rested on your cheek, his other arm looping around your waist to pull you closer. Your body pressed against his, you felt him smile against your mouth.
“Hey Siri! Can you-ohoho,” James rounded the corner of the kitchen as the two of you sprung apart. “I was gonna ask you to round up the guests but uh…I can ask Remus,” James didn’t even try to hide his smirk as the two of you awkwardly leaned against opposite sides of the counter.
“No I can-“ Sirius started but James was already gone, no doubt on his way to tell Lilly what he saw. You covered your face with your hands, sure that your cheeks were impossibly red by now.
“Ohmygosh he’s never going to let us live that down,” you groaned into your hands and peeked through your fingers at Sirius.
“Let me take you out sometime.” His smile was soft, lips barely tilted up. He almost looked shy, maybe he was. “Properly, I’ll take you on a real date.”
“Sirius I-“
“Please Y/N, I really like you, it’s different with you, it always has been.” He tucked a strand of your hair back into place, his eyes wide like a puppy.
“If you would have let me finish,” you laugh and lightly swat his chest, “I would love to.” You grin up at him.
He kisses you again. Less gentle this time but you can still feel him smiling against your lips. You let out a small giggle in return and this only makes him kiss you harder. His hands travel to your hips and urge you onto the counter. You hop up willingly and he stands between your legs, hands squeezing your thighs gently.
“Yo Black- oh my god,” James walks back into the kitchen and covers his eyes.
“Is this going to be a habit Potter?” Sirius groans and pulls away from you to look at his friend.
“It won’t be, if you stop making out in shared spaces,” he whined and peeked between his fingers to see Sirius still holding your thighs, “you know what, goodnight Y/N!” he called and immediately darted back out of the kitchen.
You let out a fit of laughter and buried your face in Sirius’ chest. He chuckled along with you, his laugh grumbling through his chest and through you. It was warm and comfortable.
“A date, tomorrow?” you lifted you face to look him in the eye, hopeful.
“Tomorrow love,” He smiled and placed a soft kiss on your lips, “promise.”
