RELIC HUNTER. Dude omg I have no idea why Tumblr is not ALL over this shit. Cheesy archaeology adventures, badass Tia Carerre, adorable bookish Christien Anholt, fun and funky guest stars, ridiculous but fun storylines. Legit Tumblr fodder, but NO LOVE!

Honestly I don't know why Relic Hunter doesn't have more of a following

Indiana Jones meets Tomb Raider (and if it came after, I'd say meets Kim Possible)

Hawaiian female lead, English male lead

Filmed in Toronto, Canada

It's adventure, comedy, and action

It's two brainy people with the female lead as the brawn without losing the intelligence and she's sexy and she knows it (none of this brainy and doesn't know she's beautiful crap). Male lead is clumsy, charming, and boyishly handsome with the ability to know that he needs to rely on his stronger female counterpart (who is his BOSS) and with only some feelings of inadequacy (mostly comes out in one episode)

1999-2001 so some technology but they're looking for ancient relics usually and technology doesn't rule their lives

Ugh I just wish people were more into this show
