Took my favorite fishing partner out to stomp around for some bank fishing today. Shocked to see the lake was turning, but we gave it hell. I only had 3 bites but boy did they feel good. Truck is packed. Boat is not. Only do this a couple times a year.... Fishing the back seat this weekend. Hard to decide what ro pack and what to leave, but I believe there are very good lessons to learn from this. The "curse" is gone! We finished in 2nd today on Lake Norfork! WooHoo! But....the fishing was so horrible that the first place team finished with less than 9 lbs. We had 5 fish for just under 7 lb. Either way....we did well enough, or better than...to place second.
