Oh, the new Make Some Noise episode with Ross, Paul and Chris is VERY good.

Who knew that the only way to improve the already excellent "Vent It Out" minigame was to just have aggressive "Bronxification" happening as the minigame progresses. Who knew.

I’m watching this week’s Make Some Noise, and I love how during the Vent It Out segment, Sam literally sounds like he’s begging them to stop when he cuts them off

also noticed this continuity error where the prompt is different:

i don’t normally pay attention to that, so now i wonder how often they cut to a clip where a cut prompt was on screen and show a bit of it in the background

Just wrote a dazed rant about the VIP series 2 Variety article before realising I had only read half of it.

Anyway, I'm very intrigued. 16 episodes, 5 new cast members (John Early, Kate Berlant, Danielle Pinnock, Chris Redd, Paul F. Tompkins) and 4 returning cast members playing new characters (Anna, Kimia, Jacob and Zac).

Hopefully the trailer will come out soon (and hopefully I'll get Dropout and watch the first series before it comes out)

How I Met Your Father Season 2 Wrap-Up

As THE original HIMYF girl, it’s time for me to talk about Season 2.

*SPOILERS* I didn’t go into this season thinking Sid was going to be the father. I really hoped they would keep us guessing for a long time, but it’s looking more and more like it’s going to be him. On the one hand, he’s a great character so I’ll be glad it’s him. On the other, it feels like the show is leaning into it being him so hard that there’s no point in any relationship other than him, much like how Ted’s relationships felt in HIMYM.

I said I wanted flash forwards and we didn’t get any, but we got a hint of what I wanted with the picture in the finale, so… closer. I’m excited to see this fleshed out more in Season 3.

The 1st season did a really good job of pairing off the members of the group so that we got to see that they were all friends, but I still do want Valentina and Ellen together. I love the friendship between Charlie and Ellen. I’m hoping season 3 will give us Charlie and Sophie moments. We know he is very important to her best friend, so I want to see her try to bond with him, awkwardly.

I don’t nesacarilly like that Charlie decides to have kids, just because nearly every show that makes a couple break up because of kids has that character that didn’t want kids realize they were wrong. On the other hand, I really do want to see Charlie work through his mommy issues.

So excited that we met Sophie’s dad. Can’t wait to meet Jesse and Ellen’s parents, hopefully in season three, and their dynamic.

Jokingly, I have started telling my friends that Sophie and Ellen get together and one of the guys is just the sperm donor. I know this won’t happen, but it would be a welcome twist.

I can’t wait to see Valentina move on from Charlie. I know she won’t actually but we saw her get into a situationship at the end of season 2 and I’d like to see Charlie react to that positively. Like, I want him to think that she’s happy and just want her happy, but when he learns she isn’t he’s there for her, emotionally. I just want him supportive of whatever her choice is, instead of brutish and jealous, even if he is quietly jealous.

Also, we need to learn Sid’s last name.
