Le Boom du Poker en ligne
02/04/2020 - Economie & Business

Ashford & District Table Tennis League
Division 1
Whilst the battle at the top starts to tighten up, but is still very much a four way race, there is also a battle for survival going in at the bottom. With Challock A, Challock B, and Iron Room B eight points adrift of the top four, but only separated by three points. Currently Iron Room B are left holding the wooden spoon with only one win in four to their name, two pints ahead are Challock B, and then a further one point up are Challock A.
So far this season Iron Room B started badly with an 8-1 defeat to last season’s winner Postling A, they then edged past fellow survival battlers Challock A 5-4 thanks to two wins apiece from Vince Corbin and Paul Waumsley and a single from junior Shem Legarde. But a brace each from Challock regulars Steve Smith & Cliff Ball ensured the result had little effect on the positions. Then on to Little Chart B who are proving to be the dark horses of this year’s events, Iron Room B could only field a much weakened side with junior Tom Down taking full advantage with wins over Shem Legarde, Mick Micklethewaite and Peter Coles. The 9-0 whitewash was only avoided when Michelle Kingsland attacked was ‘out attacked’ by Shem Legarde, and Kevin Beasley’s unique style felon deaf ears with the experience Mick Micklethewaite winning the battle of attrition 11-9 in the fifth. However both Kevin and Michelle picked up a brace with both beating Peter Coles, and getting the better of each other’s Achilles heal. Finally, with Vince Corbin side-lined they had signed on Mani Khapung to help steady the ship. As reigning open singles champion it was a pretty good back up plan, but Ruckinge A had other ideas. Starring for Ruckinge Joe Britnell only dropped two sets in his hat trick of wins over Shem, Paul, and Mani. Ruckinge captain, Hrvoje Crnko, proved in excellent form adding another two wins over Shem and Mani, but couldn’t get past Paul Waumsleys unorthodox approach. Finally young Arthur Bracken was totally befuddled by Paul Waumsleys, and lost out against former team mate Mani, but added a point with a straight sets win over Shem. 6-3 to Ruckinge A, and Iron Room B seem in trouble.
Elsewhere Challock B, new promoted to Division 1, didn’t help their cause losing out 5-4 to Ruckinge A. But a failure to submit the scorecard resulted in their points being voided. However with Tim Pichowski and Paul Amos on the books they are a strong side and will cause all teams a lot of problems. Their next match was away to Iron Room A who were able to field star turn Phil Saxby, who won all three at a canter only dropping his first set to Tim Pichowski in the final singles encounter. Tim was only add to grab a point for Challock against Keith Harris over four legs, but it could have gone either way against Vince Corbin who came through 11-6, 11-9, 15-17, 12-10. Paul Amos showed no signs of being away with 3-1 wins over both Keith Harris and Vince Corbin. Challock’s third player, Lee Hirst, struggled against Vince Corbin and Phil Saxby but took Keith Harris to the wire 11-13, 12-10, 7-11, 8-11 but faded away in the final leg 11-5. Postling A were the next team to visit Challock but without Tim Pichowski the current champions Postling breezed past Chris Senior and Lee Hirst, but Paul Amos starred with wins over Malcolm Skates, Nick Owen and Roy Coles. That said Malcolm was unlucky going down 10-12, 12-10, 11-7, 12-10. This week’s match up between Challock B & Iron Room B could be critical for both teams.
Finally Challock A lost their first match 5-4 to Iron Room B, and then collapsed against Little Chart B with only Steve Smith able to offer up a point with a win over averages winner Alan Provan. Kevin Beasley and Tom Down both provided a hat trick with wins over Smith, Cliff Ball, and Roy Baker. However braces from Steve & Cliff in their next match keep Ruckinge A honest, but they still fell 5-4 with Roy Baker unable to better Mike Galvan, Joe Britnell or Charlie Richards. Then in an important head to head Challock A (Steve Smith, Cliff Ball, & Roy Baker) came unstuck against Challock B (Paul Amos, Tim Pichowski & Chris Senior). Both Cliff and Steve easily beat Chris 3-0, but Chris one over Roy with a 3-1 win. The rest of the evening was very much one way traffic with only Steve Smith able to win a single leg against Tim Pichowski. How important could that 7-2 win be?

Previous NSW Blues Greg Alexander motivates Canberra Raiders to utilize State of Origin snub as motivation
If the Hayne Aircraft does not remove in Origin I, then Canberra Raiders captain Jarrod Croker is waiting in the wings to take his place inning accordance with former NSW Blues playmaker Greg Alexander.Alexander said there's"half a lots "Raiders in the Blues mix and has motivated them to utilize the Sydney Roosters clash at Canberra Stadium on Sunday as the ideal opportunity to stake their claim for the future.
."title src=https://www.fairfaxstatic.com.au/content/dam/images/g/w/e/k/l/k/image.related.articleLeadwide.620x349.gweil4.png/1495869426386.jpg > Greg Alexander says if Jarryd Hayne drops the Origin ball then Jarrod Croker will be prepared to choose it up. Picture: Stefan Postles
NSW winger Blake Ferguson was the last member of the Green Maker to launching for the Blues -back in 2013. And there's only been 7 Raiders who have actually made their launching for the Blues in the last 20 years -Ferguson, Josh Dugan, Tom Learoyd-Lahrs, Terry Campese, Joel Monaghan, Ryan O'Hara and Ben Kennedy.Blues coach Laurie Daley again neglected his old club when he picked his squad for Wednesday's State of Origin opener against the dominant Queensland Maroons at Suncorp Stadium.Croker's ultra-consistency has him tearing down the door to make his Origin launching after he was 19th guy 3 years ago.The Raiders captain's a point- and try-scoring maker, however Daley selected fullback Hayne ahead of him in Croker's position at left centre on the back of his efforts in the 2014 Origin series- the last time NSW beat Queensland. But Alexander said Croker couldn't"do anymore "to specify his case and forecasted he would be in contention for Origin II if Hayne doesn't fire
."He's doing exactly what he has to do, but they've got Jarryd Hayne at left centre. Whether you like it or not, Hayne's been great in Origin in the past, "Alexander stated. "He's probably playing from position, however if he does not handle it Jarrod's there." I do not believe they 'd have any doubt choosing Jarrod if things do not deal with Jarryd Hayne, I make sure they believe in him getting the job done."Croker's Raiders teammates Shannon Boyd, Junior Paulo and Joey Leilua have actually likewise been discussed as possible Blues players, but Queensland second-rower Josh Papalii was the only Green Maker player to obtain the Origin call-up. Alexander, who played 6 Origins for NSW and 6 Tests for Australia, stated the best way for them to respond was to show the selectors they were "next in line "with their efficiency against the Roosters. While it's a Roosters side without 5 Origin stars, consisting of co-captain Boyd Cordner and halfback Mitchell Pearce, Alexander stated it was still a "quality side "that couldn't be taken lightly. He said Raiders coach Ricky Stuart would not have actually required to inform his gamers they would still threaten." They're close, they have actually played associate footy and had a taste, "Alexander stated. "If I wasn't selected and I was as close as those chaps are I 'd desire to ensure I had a big game to let those know that choose the sides that they either made a mistake or if there's a chance, injury, poor form that I'm the next in line." That's exactly what I 'd be believing if I was any one of those chaps that are on the fringes, and there's half a dozen blokes because position, just below the selection."Alexander stated focus was the secret for the Raiders, who were coming off a" scratchy win"versus the Parramatta Eels last weekend. He stated that would imply they 'd produce less errors and control the ball, making them" almost impossible to beat". The Fox Sports analyst stated a 2nd consecutive NRL finals project would likewise assist bolster the representative chances of the Green Machine.Even if an Origin berth didn't show up
, there were still World Cup areas on the line through performances from the rest of the season."It mightn't be Origin, however it might be Australia in the World Cup, so it constantly assists if your side plays deep into the finals series,"Alexander stated."Which the Raiders would be, off the back of exactly what they did in 2015, they 'd be anticipating to do at least that this year. "Sunday: Canberra Raiders v Sydney Roosters at Canberra Stadium, 4pm.

New Zealand's New Prime Minister Is Very Awkward For Julie Bishop
New Zealand political kingmaker Winston Peters announced on Thursday evening that his NZ First party would form a coalition government with Labour, making Jacinda Ardern the next prime minister.

Kai Schwoerer / Getty Images
The decision came after an agonising 26 day wait, during which Winston Peters literally went fishing and Jacinda Ardern brought a ginger cake to negotiations to, er, sweeten the deal. How good is New Zealand.
Anyway, you might recall Australia's near-diplomatic crisis with New Zealand over our (now renounced) Kiwi deputy prime minister Barnaby Joyce.

In the heady days of the citizenship crisis when MPs were dropping like flies (well, referring themselves to the High Court) bloggers and journalists started looking into Joyce, whose dad was born in NZ.
At the same time, Labour NZ MP Chris Hipkins asked two questions about citizenship in the parliament. It emerged that Hipkins had discussed the issue with the chief of staff to Labor senate leader Penny Wong.
The Australian government claimed that it was these questions, based on collusion between NZ Labour and Australian Labor, that led to Joyce's citizenship being examined and clarified by the NZ government.
For what it's worth, then NZ internal affairs minister Peter Dunne said the allegations were "so much nonsense" and that media inquiries were to blame.
Enter Australian foreign minister Julie Bishop. When this all emerged, the usually unshakeable Bishop gave a press conference slamming the "treacherous" behaviour of Labor leader Bill Shorten - and having a pretty big dig at NZ Labour.

"Should there be a change of government, I would find it very hard to build trust with those involved in allegations designed to undermine the government of Australia," she said.
But it wasn't all memes - shadow foreign affairs minister Penny Wong called on the government to urgently repair relations with Ardern and NZ Labour now that she's been elected.
"In an attempt to divert attention from the citizenship crisis surrounding Barnaby Joyce, the foreign minister publicly declared she would not trust a future New Zealand Labour government," Wong said.
"It is now incumbent on the foreign minister to undo the damage caused by her irresponsible remarks during the election campaign."

She Wears Scented Rose
Writing a review is not always as easy as some believe it to be. There are many things to be taken into account when looking at a production including the writing, directing, acting, set and costume design, lighting, sound etc. And, no matter how dispassionate one tries to be, some shows will strike a chord while others may not. This means that sometimes there can be wildly differing reviews of the same show – I’ve recently seen a show given a 1 star rating by one reviewer and 4 by another. Ultimately then, reviews are the subjective thoughts of the person writing them. Keep that in mind as I take you to Camden’s Theatro Technis where Razor Sharp Productions are currently performing Yasir Senna’s She Wears Scented Rose.
Late one night in a street in the Wimbledon area of London, Mark (Craig Karpel) is dragging himself along a road bleeding profusely. He manages to keep himself together long enough to phone for an ambulance and tells the operator he has been stabbed. Later, in a hospital waiting room, Mark’s wife Verity (Niki Mylonas) is waiting for news. The doctor, Mahesch Kumar, explains to Verity and her 17-year-old daughter Neve (Natalie Mitson) that Mark has been badly injured and right now it is touch and go as to whether he survives. Luckily, after a period in a coma, he does, and the family are reunited. Mark tells his story to Detective Inspector Kane (Rosalie Carn) and it seems to be a straightforward case of a carjacking that went horrendously wrong. However, when Mark’s’ best friend David (Simon Ryerson) arrives along with his daughter – and Neve’s best friend – Sadie (Charlotte Campbell), things change. David knows Mark well and thinks there is more to the story than he has told so far. As the truth emerges, what part will Mark and David’s old school teacher Mr Steel (Martin Balanow) and a man named Denly (Michael Mayne) have to play in the affair?
She Wears Scented Rose was not, I’m afraid, a play that really worked for me on many levels. Writer Yasir Senna, also directed the play and I think this could have been a bit of an error of judgement. Whilst the overall story is pretty good, I feel it needed some pruning and a director not associated with the writing would, I believe, have managed to change the flow of the production and tightened it up. For example, the setting of the hospital room need only have happened once, with other locations being created by a better use of the lights. I would have also cut the cast down as there were some characters that only appeared briefly once so could have been played by one actor covering the roles.
Having said that, the story was interesting and there were certainly some unexpected moments in the narrative which took a simple carjacking to an ending that I had not even thought of when the play started. In fact, the final scene was extremely well written and played and full credit to Simon Ryerson for his perfectly measured performance in it. With regards to the other actors, Craig Karpel has to be singled out for his portrayal of Mark. Whilst I never warmed to the character, I did at least feel sorry for him initially going through the carjacking and stabbing. However, that didn’t last and – without giving anything away – my opinion of him really changed over the course of the production and by the end, it’s fair to say, I fully understood and agreed with how the playwright concluded Mark’s story.
Overall, I think there is still some work to be done to make She Wears Scented Rose into the taut thriller it sets out to be. Some of the characters need expanding whilst others should be scaled back slightly and the production should be shorter. Obviously, I’m no playwright – this is a real case of ‘those that can do and those that can’t review’. But, ultimately She Wears Scented Rose is a nice play with a reasonably logical story that unfolds in front of the audience and certainly keeps them guessing most of the way through.
Review by Terry Eastham
“It’s close to midnight and a man lies by a road close to death. He is the victim of a car-jacking. But is there more to this crime than meets the eye?
Razor Sharp Productions proudly present,” She wears Scented Rose”, a gripping new thriller written and directed by Yasir Senna.” From the company that brought ‘Rumble’ comes this gripping new thriller. ‘She wears Scented Rose’ is a brand new, previously unstaged play which will keep you on the edge of your seat right until the end. Not to be missed.
Razor Sharp Productions produce original new plays designed to keep an audience gripped from start to finish. Combining the excitement of film with the intensity of theatre our aim is to give audiences an unforgettable experience.

‘E.ON See’ launched to help customers gain greater visibility of their energy use, whenever and wherever they are has been published on Energy Solutions News
New Post has been published on http://www.energybrokers.co.uk/news/eon-energy/e-on-see-launched-to-help-customers-gain-greater-visibility-of-their-energy-use-whenever-and-wherever-they-are
‘E.ON See’ launched to help customers gain greater visibility of their energy use, whenever and wherever they are
E.ON has today launched ‘E.ON See’ – a new app that will enable some customers with smart meters to view their electricity and gas use whenever and wherever they are through an easy to use smartphone app1.
E.ON See is being offered to some customers instead of a physical in-home smart energy display when they have a smart meter installed.
The app enables customers to gain greater clarity about their energy use through near-real time information about how much electricity and gas they’re using. This can be represented as pounds and pence, kilowatts, or as graphs that show usage over days, weeks and months.
E.ON See also includes a traffic light system which allows customers to easily spot if their energy consumption is higher, lower or in line with usual use. In addition, customers can receive regular alerts to remind them to keep track of how much energy they’re using.
Chris Lovatt, Director of Residential Operations at E.ON, said: “We’ve installed more than three quarters of a million self-reading smart meters in our customers’ properties so far. The launch of E.ON See is our next step in helping our customers get more visibility of their energy use than ever before, whether they’re at home or not.
“Smart meters already offer a number of benefits for customers, such as helping bring an end to estimated bills. And through innovative solutions like E.ON See, we’re making it even easier for our customers to benefit from complete clarity about their energy habits by providing detailed, personalised insights through a convenient and easy to use app.”
E.ON See is being offered to more than 2,000 residential customers as part of its smart meter installations in the North East of England, Yorkshire, Staffordshire and Cheshire. E.ON hopes to offer E.ON See to all its eligible residential customers in due course.
For more information about E.ON’s smart meter programme and to check if they’re able to have one installed, customers should visit eonenergy.com/smart

Count in Fives: Album Anniversaries | Blur - Blur Release date: 10 February 1997 (Food)
Better call an ambulance - Blur’s self-titled album is two decades old this February. Released two years after the shiny, great The Great Escape (no pun intended), the band discard the aesthetics of the Britpop genre they helped to shape, favouring a more lo-fi, garage sound by way of guitarist Graham Coxon, as well as more electronic and experimental sonic leanings. Initially feared to be committing “commercial suicide”, Blur eventually debuted number 1 on the UK albums chart, spawning several hits including that one song (you know, that one!).
The album, designed by Yacht Associates partners Chris Thomson and Richard Bull, features a stock photo of a patient being rushed into an emergency ward. The designers had in mind an image that conveyed both “optimism and scariness”, and after process of searching for the right image - not before encountering various medical graphic images - a winning image was decided on. Boasting only the band’s logo and left unprocessed, the cover is described by Bull as “an anaesthetic dream”.
Photographer Paul Postle shot the additional images for the back cover and insert, the former of sulphur fields in Iceland and the latter of the band jamming, something that they haven’t done quite done "since 1991″. It’s fitting then, perhaps, that these pictures paint an honest image of the band at that time, getting back together after strained relationships with each other. It’s also a “back to basics” of sorts, both sonically and visually:
“The whole Blur cover is ‘a stripped down process’, says Thomson. ‘All the other Blur covers have had so much going on. This one reflects extremely well what Blur are up to musically.’” (source)
This album certainly brings back lots of memories for both casual and serious fans of the band alike! A new direction in music called for a new direction in visuals - further proof that these two certainly go hand in hand.

Ashford Table Tennis League
Week 14 – Division 1
Title heading for Postling A……again
Assuming Postling A avoid a 9-0 defeat & Iron Room take a 9-0 victory then the title is heading back to its perennial home at Postling A.
This week saw the two title contenders going head to head, but neither side could field their full strength teams, but in their place the teams fought out a 5-4 scoreline. First up league stalwarts Roy Coles and Mick MIcklethewaite went head to head in a tight game with Roy’s left handed defence taking the match three straight 11-9, 11-9, 11-8. Next up Bob Edwards in a rare Ashford league appearance up against Nick Owen the current pace setter in the division 1 averages. As expected the first two legs both were decided 12-10 in a tight affair with both players marking up a leg each, but the Bob took control, and the ‘lucky’ Nick Owen was unable to add to increasing win tally going down 11-8, 11-7. Finally players in 2nd (Paul Walmsley) & 4th (Chris Hooper) in the individual averages. A five leg encounter as expected with Chris squeezing through the first leg 16-14, before Paul found his range taking the second 11-5. But not to be out done the quick attach of Chris saw him through the thirds leg 8-11, but Paul wasn’t going down without a fight and took the final two legs 11-6, 11-6 leaving Postling A trailing 2-1. However the match went away from Iron Room with three quick fire wins. Roy Coles cruised passed Bob Edwards 3-0, Chris then repeat the scoreline against Mick Micklethewaite, and then not to be out done Nick Owen beat Paul 3-0. Now leading 4-2 Postling looked like they were on course to seal the title, but possibly a bit of over confidence took hold and Bob Edwards edged passed Chris 11-6 in a fifth leg, and Paul edged passed Roy Coles 11-4 in the fifth. The final match between Mick & Nick was decisive, a win for Mick and the league would go into a final week, and a win for Nick and the league would be all but out of reach for Iron Room. Unfortunately this was a little one sided after a tight first leg which Nick took 11-13, his superior attacking took its toll losing the next two legs 11-8, 11-5. The result means a 5-4 win for Postling A, and another title barring the unthinkable.
Elsewhere Ruckinge B were fighting for survival, whilst a long shot they could still mathematically remain in Division1 after Christmas. But Little Chart B were not in a festive mood sailing to a crushing 9-0 victory. Chris Cloake and Colin Bingham provided some hope taking Kevin Beasley into a fifth leg. But beyond this there was little that could be done with Alan Provan, Michelle Kingsland, and Kevin Beasley all taking full points. The Ruckinge B side of Colin Bingham, Mike Galvan, and Chris Cloake were all going home empty handed and looking forward to life in Division after Christmas. The result also means Little Chart B are likely to finish in third place pending the results in the final week.
The only other match in Division 1 saw Iron Room A take on Challock A. Purely for fun now with both team safely in the bunch. Keith Yarnley took on his usual starring role win all three against Cliff Ball, Steve Smith & Roy Baker for the loss of just one leg. Cliff Ball & Steve Smith both took their customary two wins, both defeating Mike Lee & Keith Harris. But wins for Mike & Keith over Roy Baker saw Iron Room home to a 5-4 victory.
Next week is the final week of the first half, and seemingly it will be just for enjoyment with nothing at stake beyond team pride and personal averages.
This week Postling C did not do themselves any favours turning up with only two players against the seasoned team of Ruckinge C, so automatically starting 3-0 the team of Adam Gajewski & Nigel Stansfield had it all to do. First up Adam took on Ray Quinn in a rather one sided affair with Nigel taking the win 11-7, 11-1, 11-8. The second match up was a much tighter affair with Nigel sharing the first two leagues with David Twiddy 11-9, 9-11 before the Postling player got into his stride and waltzed away with the final two legs 11-4, 11-6. David then repeated the score line with Adam but sharing the first two legs, but losing the next two to lose out 3-1. Ray Quinn ended the night ‘legless’ with a straight sets loss to Nigel. But by far the greatest resistance from Ruckinge came from their third player Paul Hickman who came through a first leg with Nigel 13-11 before losing steam in the second leg going down 11-5. The final two legs both went to the wire with Nigel edging through 11-9 in both. The final match up saw Paul take on Adam in a very seesaw match with Adam scraping the first 14-12 before Paul hit a purple patch winning the next two 11-3, 11-6, unfortunately then the purple patch switched sides and Adam took the final two legs 11-4, 11-6. This sealed a 6-3 win for Postling, but the three conceded points could be critical come the end of the season.
Fellow promotion hopefuls Ashford A were off on their travels to Tenterden to take on Sportsman A with Reuben Tozer of Ashford taking the plaudits. He overcame both Douglas Ho and Howard Brightling 3-1, and then eclipsed Mike Whitford 3-0. He was ably support by Russell Swain and Luke Garvey who both ended the evening with two wins a piece, although Luke did survive a scare against Douglas Ho when he found himself 2-0 and deuce in the third. However his fighting spirit saw him home 11-4, 11-8, 10-12, 9-11, 7-11. Douglas did go one better against Russell after being 2-1 down he fought through to a five set win. Sportsmens other win of the evening came from the bat of Howard Brightling using all of his experience to overcome promising junior Luke in three straight. Final score 7-2 to Ashford A leaving them within touching distance of the leading pair.
Elsewhere Postling B, like Postling C, did themselves no favours by turning out with only two players against Ruckinge D. Both teams are residing at the wrong end of the table but unlikely to be at risk of relegation. Brian Cook and Denise Glenister did them team proud both defeating the Ruckinge side of Simon Dale, Colin Bingham and Gordon Pau in a relatively one sided affair, but Ruckinge will be relived for the three free points, despite a 6-3 defeat.
The result of Challock B against Ruckinge C is still unknown, but since this is top against bottom it is expect to see Challock B to knock up yet another resounding win to stretch their lead at the top.
