*He’s definitely less nervous this time as he nuzzled into you again. You felt something against your neck. Maybe he kissed you?*

Choso looked down as he felt the new sensation. It was soft and he felt a little less nervous too. 'That's what a couple do?' He thought.

After an awkward moment of silence between the two of them, Choso let out a soft sigh "Maybe, you wanna do something? Like, watching a film? Or maybe sleep" he looked Ako in the eyes, waiting for an answer. He seems to be trying to hold a conversation, he doesn't seem very comfortable in the silence.

Pairing: Choso x Ako Komaniya [OC] Genre: fluff, angst, and a bit of comfort Warnings: Mentions of Eso and Kechizu's death, a/n: I also read Ako's backstory to get some inspiration for the firsts headcanons, I hope you like it! [First part is pre-relationship, second part is enstabilished + sorry for taking too long 😔] (≡^∇^≡)

Choso is a quiet person, but when he cares about a person he becomes truly affectionate towards them. Especially when it comes to his brothers.

The deaths of Eso and Kechizu overwhelmed him, and the others didn't even seem very interested.

Everyone except Ako.

The boy he didn't usually talk to seemed decidedly sorry for the loss of his two little brothers. And yet… he didn't know why, he wasn't even related to them.

It was from then that he began to get closer to him.

Choso approached Ako, his expression tired as usual. He didn't know how, but the boy seemed sadder than usual, and what seemed even stranger... why was he worrying about someone he rarely spoke to? It's not like he was part of his family. Family. Something that he lost recently, two brothers, and that was just a student's fault. He shook his head, trying to escape the thought of that. He approached behind the boy, who was holding his knees close to his chest. How disgusting it is to sit in the dirt... why had Mahito decided on a sewer as a little hiding place? However, his hand went to his shoulder, making the guy shiver and turn around. He could see his eyes widen for a moment before he looked down. Choso sighed "Are you okay?" Ako looked up at him one time before he nodded silently. No words, but he could understand it was a lie. "You can tell me, you know?" He tried to convince him talking to him. "Nothing, really" Ako said, like he didn't want to talk with anyone. 'Maybe he just want to spend time alone now' Choso thought. But as he turned back to walk away, he heard the boy exclaim and block his arm. His touch seemed very delicate, as if he was afraid. Poor thing, how much time had he spent with them curses to make him like this? He turned, tilting his head as if waiting for him to express himself. "I just wanted to say that..." Ako took a deep breath "I am sorry for your loss" He felt his body tense up at his words. Did he… mind? Did he, a person who had nothing to do with his family, mind, when not even Mahito or Kenjaku seemed to care? "Ako, I-" he tried to say, but suddenly he fell silent. He was definetly spechless. "If you need something, or you just want to talk" the guy continued "I'm here" For a moment their eyes connected, and Choso could see a sparkle of honestly in his. He smiled a bit and nodded, feeling something warm inside. Was it trust? Why did he feel this way all of a sudden? "Sure, thank you" he whispered and finally walk away after Ako left his arm. He felt tears forming in the corners of his eyes. Sure, he missed them, and damn he would want them back. He would even take revenge against their killer when he had the chance. But when Ako spoke to him he felt that anger slowly melt away and transform into something else... Maybe he was the one that needed to spent time alone, and clear his mind.

After that episode the two of them started to talk more with each others and it seemed they builded a strong friendship beetween them.

It was also a way to get to know each other better, and to support each other. Ako had admitted that he was a little afraid of Mahito, Choso had admitted that he was worried about the lives of his little brothers.

The day of the attack in Shibuya arrived, however, and rather quickly. Choso found himself fighting Yuji, the killer of his brothers, but apparently... he was his brother too? It had traumatized him, poor guy.

And Ako... Well, Ako was there with him.

He helped him find his way again and get him back to fighting, this time on the right side. We don't exactly know which words Ako used to encourage him, but they made him fight again, next to his brother.

Immediately after the defeat – or the victory? He had still saved his brother, even though Gojo had been sealed - Choso decided that, for Ako's sake, they wouldn't see each other for a while. On the other hand, it was better not to attract any other type of special level or rather strong curses. At least he wanted to keep him safe from that danger.

Then months passed. Choso missed his company, even though he did it for a good cause. Sometimes he stood in front of a window of the institute and looked out, his gaze lost in thinking back to the moments spent together. Or he would go to the park and find a bench to sit on and watch people go by. In that case Yuji went to keep him company.

If there's something Choso lacks, it's a person close to him to keep him company. Sure, Yuji is his brother and all, but it's not the same. Seeing people pass by with their friends and partners makes him feel strangely... alone. Sitting on a bench, as usual, and watching people and animals go by. He let out a sigh. He didn't know what he was complaining about, after all they had made an agreement together. But he certainly missed it. 'Maybe in another life...' he closed his eyes and thought about his memories with his friend. They seemed so far, like they happened a long time ago. And it passed just few months since then, damn, how was it possible. He sighed and leaned his back on the back of the bench. "Choso" He suddenly opened his eyes wide as he heard the familiar voice next to him and looked around, but no one showed up. Oh wow, now he was having hallucinations too? He should probably sleep more. He would never understand why. Maybe it was simply that friendship, the fact that he trusted him, that made him miss him. Hell, it could have easily been Mahito, or even Kenjaku, but he had developed a much stronger bond with Ako for some reason. Mahito's disappearance hadn't touched him in the slightest, nor had that of the other curses that weren't his brothers. He brought a hand to his face, trying to calm the web of thought that was forming. He sure didn't want to have a headache right now. "Excuse me?" Choso opened his eyes once again and looked up, just to see a guy waiting in front of him. He tilted his head, waiting for him to continue talking - obviously if he had to do something else. "Can I... sit here? I'm not bothering you, right?" The guy stammered like he was a little embarassed to ask. He could feel his heart skip a beat as he thinked that the voice was so familiar to Ako's one. But of course, he tried to put the thought out of his mind and nodded. "No, you don't bother" he whispered, but it was enough to be heard by the person in front of him. "Thank you..." the guy said and sat next to him. Not too close, but the tension could still felt between them both. Even the birds stopped on the branches, some stopped singing and even looked at them quickly. Choso let out a sigh, at least to fill the strange awkward silence. "Well, er... It's a nice day today, isn't it?" And the guy nodded "Yeah, really" he said and seemed to try to hide his face behind his hood. Was he a little shy? Maybe she just didn't want to deal with him. Anyway. He continued to look at the small street in front of him, the people passing by began to become rarer as the evening approached. Sometimes he turned to look at the boy, and it happened that he too started staring, until they noticed it and turned away embarrassed. But hey, he didn't know him and the guy seemed not to know him too, so they were like strangers. It was normal, right? If only he knew who was behind the hood...

Choso still couldn't believe they got together. Still, holding his hand not as a friend but as a lover was new and it gave him butterflies in his stomach, it made him feel light. Sure, he still tended to blush at every little compliment he gave him, but he liked it.

Choso however is a cub in the body of a tiger. Yes, Ako will have the privilege of the scary guy - him? scary? - although as you get to know him better you discover that he is very sweet. Yes, he compliment him and give the sweetest comments, what a sweetheart...

Speaking of felines... the cat. Sometimes they compete for attention [Bubbles usually wins], but when they don't... Well, let's say Ako might have taken some photos while they were sleeping, they were too cute together.

The sunlight, what little filtered through the window at that late hour, faintly illuminated the floor and part of the sofa. There was a strange silence, Ako had noticed it when he put away the last plate. He would have imagined hearing the cat meow or growl at Choso - hell, he would have expected that tonight - but nothing, just the slow breathing of his lover. "Ok, I'm done here Cho-" as he turned around he had to stop and understand what was happening under his gaze, unable to say anything else. What... What a beautiful sight. Choso e had his head tilted and was looking downwards, or so it seemed: he kept his eyes closed and his mouth slightly open, emitting small snorts. His body was relaxed, his arm resting on Bubbles' little body, who in turn was lying across his lap and purring. They seemed so calm, like two little angels... Ako smiled at the sight of the two not annoying each other for once. He knew that they didn't hate each other, Choso in fact loved the cat and liked to caress it and feel the sensation of the fur on his palm. A photo, perhaps to immortalize that moment. Flash! Ako took the photo and looked at it happy. Yeah, he should definetly conserve that moment, it was pretty cute. How unlucky Choso wasn't awake to see it... well, Ako will show him the picture later when he will wake up, and see his reaction.

Choso looked at him, he couldn’t help but still a little shy about that. Oh, no one didn't really asked, but now it kinda seemed right since they've been know each other for a long while. "You... still a bit red" he murmured, enough that Ako could hear though.

*little bit of a time skip and Ako winds up filling out the paperwork at the shelter and ends up with. A tiny little calico kitten, who promptly buries herself in his shirt. You had followed him to the pet store, helping him pick out new things for the kitty and brainstorming names for her as he had asked.*

Choso was thinking of a name for the cat. Sometimes he looked up and noticed the animal curled up against Ako, making him smile. He mumbled a few names every now and then, seeing which one might be best suited to the cat. "Zuzu, Bubbles, Mika... maybe Coco..."
