#i shouldnt have this many thoughts about it#choreo wise aesthetic wise esp there were some really interesting bits from that standpoint#but like aug the random 4th wall breaks#there are so many self aware jokes at how batshit everything is#i shouldnt feel some kind of way about modern disney channel original movies#but someday is really good (the move the guy does with the lamp has glued itself to my brain. that whole number is aeeeee)#i could ramble about how it gets close to subverting typical tropes for the genre but always falls short but like. this is for kids.#got insane gender envy from the tall art zombie. god i wish that were me#he is the reason i sat through 2 more movies#also the shrimp mascot national treasure#av says all#not tagging this#metaphors are super half baked but otherwise not as horrendous horrendous as i thought#3 stars for it being interesting enough to look at for me to stay plus gender envy
