Announcing one of our party photographers: Bennett Sandefur Bennett is a 2nd-year photography major at The Creative Circus in Midtown Atlanta after completing freshman year at The School of Visual Arts in New York City. Shortly after arriving in Atlanta, Bennett has worked as a still photographer on several indie short films and has directed, shot and edited a few music videos & short films. “This will be my first time attending Sundance. I'm super excited to photograph the Choose Georgia party. I'm hoping to take advantage of being in Park City and shooting some people in the snow with mountains for a backdrop. I'll be looking for models while I'm out there, so if you're interested, hit me up. I've lived in NYC, so I'm used to cold temps. I'm excited to be cold again! I grew in Macon, Georgia, and it seems like the Macon Film Festival was apart of my whole life there. My dad was heavily involved with that festival and promoted Macon as a filming location. As a result, I've grown up around filmmakers and spending time on movie sets, I've even acted in a few short films. My first role was as a kid zombie in a short film called ZOMBIE CRUSH directed by Tendal Mann & Lawayne Bontrager that filmed in Macon. Since moving to Atlanta, I've been excited about the huge indie film scene here. I'm so grateful to have the opportunity to work on several films & meet so many cool indie filmmakers. It started with shooting cast & crew promo shots for an indie short called LIFE BINDER directed by Sara Bess Ferreira and that led to being the still photographer on that project, which lead to shooting stills & promo photos for other indies that some of the Life Binder cast & crew (Amber Neukum, Jesse Gallegos & Nick Peruto) were working on independently. A big thrill was finding out that two of my photos were used for the Life Binder movie poster! The last film I did stills for is a Sci-Fi anthology series for Sozo Bear Films called ENCOUNTERS. I'm hoping to see those shorts in film festivals later this year. I've heard lots about Sundance over the years. Filmmakers are cool. I hope to meet lots of them at Sundance, and of course, take their photos!" - Bennett Sandefur

Announcing one of our party photographers: Kurt Yue. Kurt is a former software developer turned actor turned photographer. He moved from Ohio to Georgia in 2016 to pursue acting. Shortly after he arrived in Atlanta, Kurt began dabbling in photography so that he could take headshots for his actor friends. What began as a fun hobby has turned into a successful business just a few years later. Kurt now runs Kurt Yue Studio out of the Artisan Resource Center in Marietta, GA. Website: KurtYue.com "I'm very excited to photograph the Choose Georgia event in Park City because not only is it my first time at Sundance, but it's also my first time in Utah. To top it off, I have a small role in the film Beast Beast which will be premiering at Sundance this year! Beast Beast was filmed in Georgia in 2018. Growing up in Cleveland, Ohio, I'm no stranger to the snow and the cold. Bring it on! The indie film community in Georgia has be great to me since I moved here in 2016. I am very grateful to have had the opportunity to work on multiple projects that have had great success in the festival circuit including Peggy (Tribeca) and Beast Beast (Sundance)." - Kurt Yue
