I took a trip to my local drugstore and something really caught my eye. A lot of us chocolate sisters have a really hard time finding a shade of foundation that suits our skin. If it's not you're reality then you probably don't see it. But I'm sure you see this. You can count the number of dark shades of foundation on this shelf on one hand. 

Now this is just an example but I believe this one shelf speaks volumes for the brown skin girls community. Brown skinned girls are by far some of the biggest consumers of cosmetics. From hair, to nails, and makeup, the whole works. Yet we are still the only community overlooked.
