Indulge in a delightful single-serving chocolate carrot cake made in a mug. This simple and quick recipe creates a delightful treat by combining the natural sweetness of carrots with the rich flavor of cocoa.

Ingredients: 1/4 cup all-purpose flour. 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder. 1/4 tsp baking powder. 1/4 cup granulated sugar. 1/4 cup shredded carrots. 2 tbsp vegetable oil. 3 tbsp milk. 1/4 tsp vanilla extract. 2 tbsp chocolate chips. 1 tbsp chopped walnuts optional. Whipped cream or ice cream for topping optional.

Instructions: Mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and cocoa powder in a mug that is safe to use in the microwave. Add the milk, vanilla extract, vegetable oil, and shredded carrots, stirring until the batter is thoroughly mixed. If using, mix in the chopped walnuts and chocolate chips.
