Ok, I have to confess I grew pretty bored with Jungwoo's depression. And I'm honestly just not that into his soft focus pastel romance with Choco. Sorry guys. Although objectively it was a very good kiss (a relief to see after the very terrible kisses in the otherwise good KBL I watched just prior to this). As a glasses wearer, I appreciate the realism of kissing with glasses on. And Choco's smile and laugh in bed give me life. I want to make him laugh.

However. Milk and the bar owner's reunion was everything to me. That kiss! The way their eyes lingered on each other's mouths, like they were ready fuck the moment the other person said let's go. Their teasing, awkward conversation. The bar owner's startled reaction and happiness at seeing Milk standing there in the dark. The way Milk just stepped up and grabbed his face.

What can I say, I'm a cat person 🤷🏻‍♀️😺

(I also loved that the woman walking with her dog got her own reincarnated pet lesbian lover back. Even if it sadly meant the dog died too at some point.)

It's me addressing two posts I made of people requesting headcanons for a pregnant reader wanting to abort, and how I really went off with my response. If the topic makes you uncomfortable you don't have to feel obligated to read it, I just wanted to say something.

Jesus fuckin Christ, I wrote this, didn't I?

Was I anti-abortion or did I REALLY poorly write this??!

At the time I knew very little about it, and I probably was speaking from a heavily emotional standpoint since I remember my personal life going downhill at that point, but I seriously don't think abortions are really bad. I think that if I were to write them it would be bad since I'm not a good writer to talk about seriously heavy topics. I was scared that if I wrote about it, it would turn out very disrespectful. Especially since to this day, it's a topic that gets me very emotional.

I'm honestly very sorry for the way I responded to these people that day, because although I didn't feel comfortable with making their requests I feel like I really, REALLY overreacted.

It's been a long time but after scrolling through my blog I felt these two posts really don't sit right with me. There's really no excuse for why I answered this way, I mean I was going through some stuff at that time but looking at it now I feel like I was completely off with my response.

Apologizing for it now probably isn't going to do much, and honestly I wouldn't blame the people who sent me those asks were mad or even scared of my dumbass to this day!

I was seriously off my fuckin mind that day and seriously there's no amount of excuses nor apologies I can come up with to make up for it. I hope I can redeem myself and not fuck it up so badly again.

Pregnancy has become a bit of a personal fear in the past few years, so I refuse to get on the nitty gritty of it- Having kids with a character is just fine but try not to think about it much.

And abortion is also a similar fear. I fear getting pregnant one day but not wanting to give birth and not being able to get an abortion because it's heavily looked upon by the area I live. It's a fear based on my own personal experiences with my first relationship, so although it doesn't live up to the "horror" anymore, it still lives fresh in my mind.

Again, it's completely a personal thing that I shouldn't have made a big deal over, I should have just let it die down. That's why it doesn't sit right with me to not say anything, so that's why I'm talking about it now.

I'm really sorry for letting myself get so emotionally charged, I'm really thankful for everyone enjoying my work and I'm always genuinely surprised at people still sticking up to this blog considering my hazardous behavior.

Black Raisin will catch onto this but won’t say anything.

Now if you come back injured, be prepared to be healed by Pure Vanilla, almost to an excessive amount.

You will also be scolded for getting injured, and also Pure Vanilla might try guilt tripping you into not adventuring again.

Hollyberry

She’s honestly the best one here.

Now, she does worry for you but she won’t be too pushy, I mean Princess Cookie loves adventure as well! If you two get along you both could adventure together!

If you prefer to adventure alone then that’s fine! Just make sure to have the proper experience and supplies!

If you want then Hollyberry will come with you to adventure out to the dragons valley! It will be a great bonding experience!

Hollyberry will lightly scold you if you get injured but it’s to a normal extent, unlike Pure Vanilla.

But if someone were to try and hurt you then they might have a shimmering shield as the last thing they see…

Dark Cacao

You shouldn’t Even try with Dark Cacao.

The mention will cause him flashbacks to when Dark Choco was younger and all the cookies who lost their lives to the harsh environment

He would HATE to lose someone else, so adventure would be out of the question

If you were really serious he might but if you come back injured, even if it’s just a scratch, you won’t be allowed to leave the citadel again.

The watchers will know, some might not approve of this but they don’t want to go against Dark Cacao.

Now like always, if Affogato is there then the outcome will be more positive. But don’t get your hopes up.

Golden Cheese

Golden Cheese won’t allow it… UNLESS you are in her digital world! Then you can adventure all you want!

Cookie Details - Lord/Lady Harbinger Cookie (Y/N Cookie) - (CoD Ver.)

In comparison to the other members of the CoD, Lord/Lady Harbinger Cookie is considered the strongest among them, acting as Dark Enchantress Cookie’s enforcer of her will.

They’re slightly larger then the average cookie, Dark Choco Cookie being able to reach up to where their neck is located. Their main weapon of choice is a halberd as they’re decked out in tough chocolate armor while wearing a dinosaur-like skull for a helmet.

One skill Lord/Lady Harbinger Cookie pertains to is their beastmaster capabilities, not too different to Red Velvet Cookie, but cranked up ten-fold. When given enough time will have Harbinger Cookie tame even large beasts such as Cake Dragons.

Dark Enchantress Cookie has complete faith in Harbinger Cookie carrying out her orders, something that the other members caught onto. Did the both of them perhaps remembered each other before?

Pomegranate Cookie

[Admiration] “I would gladly serve under their reign..”’

Pomegranate Cookie grew to admire Harbinger Cookie to the point where she treats them similarly to Dark Enchantress Cookie, never would any disrespect head their way with Pomegranate Cookie around.

Has a rivalry with Licorice Cookie over favorites, leading to arguments over who gets to do the tasks Harbinger Cookie brings up. It leads to Pomegranate having to be around them often to prevent Licorice from swiping them from under her. You’re often annoyed at their bickering.

Has a portion of her room dedicated to you. Photos, old weapons you won’t miss, the damn body pillow she keeps tucked in her bed. Others may find it a little creepy, but Pomegranate could care less, she was just showing the extent her devotion goes.

[Admiration] “You can depend on me, I’ll never fail you!”

Licorice Cookie is all about trying to be a better cookie then Pomegranate with whatever you want him to, getting your praise and approval is his main motivator!

You get Dark Choco to handle whatever you need, you’re tired of having Licorice and Pomegranate butting heads with frequent arguments over their perceived achievements over one another.

Will have his licorice servants be at your beck and call, ready to take any orders you would like to request. May or may not summon some of them to swipe things from your room.

Red Velvet Cookie

[Trust] “My Lord/Lady has plans for the new world, I’ll be behind them until the end.”

Harbinger Cookie is a valiant fighter in the eyes of Red Velvet Cookie, training him under their wing. It’s an added bonus that you’re considerate of the cake hounds and other critters that you come across.

Nothing gets him more happy then seeing you being a loving caretaker to the cakes, playing around with them and giving them their treats. Endearing these creatures has only made him endear you more in return.

There is this lingering hint of jealousy he has when you’re too busy playing with the cake hounds with not enough time spent for him, then it would be a situation where he has to shoo them away so he could get to you!

Dark Choco Cookie

[Trust] “Me and them are not so different..”

You’re the only cookie Dark Choco could confide in with the darkness that lurks within his very soul. That trust only goes deeper that you understood him with his past…since you used to be a hero yourself, now having your fate lie within darkness.

Like Red Velvet, he respects your strength, believing that any cookie who could challenge you were simply foolish in their efforts, either ending up being crumbs or utterly defeated.

When he eventually leaves the CoD, he feels a sense of sorrow, knowing that your once pure soul has been tainted and corrupted by the darkness all around you. He wants to believe that you can still be saved and be the Cookie you once were, but as time goes by, that hope diminishes…

Poison Mushroom Cookie

[Friendly] “Have shroomies, they’ll make you feel better…!”

Harbinger Cookie can have their off days, this is where Poison Mushroom Cookie steps in. They never fail to put a smile on their face, offering shroomies to them to lighten up their attitude.

This is returned by Harbinger Cookie playing around Poison Mushroom, lifting them up and allowing them on their shoulder. It strikes the heartstrings of Pomegranate and Licorice Cookie watching Harbinger be a parent to Poison Mushroom!

Strawberry Crepe Cookie

[Friendly] “I can’t seem to pinpoint their ingredients, I’ll need further analysis on them!”

Harbinger Cookie was such an anomaly to Strawberry Crepe…and that’s what makes them so interesting to Crepe! The sheer mystery of what lies in Harbinger’s dough means Crepe is always ready for any opportunity to get a closer look.

You did find Strawberry’s shenanigans a little annoying, but you couldn’t fault the young cookie, they were only curious about what you’re made of, hell, you were to. Dark Enchantress wouldn’t allow it though and you couldn’t exactly go against her…

There’s also the squabbles between Crepe and Mushroom, both wanted your complete attention and neither were willing to cooperate with the other for your care. It leads to you and the others agreeing to never keep them in the same room for too long with you, a fight is the last thing you needed with the two cookies on your shoulders…

Dark Enchantress Cookie

[Friendly] “It’s good to welcome you home, my dear Y/N Cookie..”

Dark Enchantress Cookie, the cookie whom you’ve pledged your loyalty to, the cookie who’ll bring forth a new world, the cookie who brought you in when you were at your lowest..she gave you a second chance and you couldn’t have been more thankful for that.

The only cookie to know your “real name”, or at least she claimed it was. It made the interactions between you and her a lot more personal, as well as how touchy she could be with a hand on your arm or shoulder as she spoke to you.

The life you have now was better then the one you had, she’ll tell you. Just stick to her and she’ll give you the world and so much more, all you have to do is take her hand and never let go..

No. Affogato thought you would do something BIG for your proposal but embarrassing yourself by kneeling in front of me and basically beg for him to date you wasn't a thing that could've crossed his mind, it helped with his ego though!! He would accept it because having you begging did something in his heart, be careful of feeding his ego too much tho.

He was the one going to ask at first actually, he was planning something like a date in a fancy place or even a movie night but then you surprised him by asking if you could "Rizz him up" Clotted Cream thought it was a silly way for you to say you liked him but accepted it nonetheless!! He got flustered oh so quickly. Royal Margarine is the kind of cookie that flirts not expecting you to flirt back, much less that you would do something like that, he had trouble responding you but it seemed that it worked.

At first she thought you were just joking with the whole "Can I try rizzing you up?" thing but after seeing you get in your knees before her let's just say Kougin Amann understood your feelings for her. You startled him more than anything else, he didn't know what to do once you started pleading, it was as if you could see the "reconnecting" WiFi symbol on his mind, thinking you were joking at first helped you up. Maybe the only one who got confused, him? Why him of all cookies? He was the general of Dark Enchantress herself! Choco Milk Shake - episode seven

This show is such a tease! They have a fake out ending there! and then the real ending is that!?

These episodes are feeling shorter and shorter. Possibly it's just because I'm now watching them straight through instead of pausing every few minutes.

It looks like we are getting into the romance part of these romance stories. Choco is so dog in the way he waits. And Strongberry must know how strong the kinky subtext of this all is, right? The way that Choco looks up at Jung-woo and asks to be petted? This has to be intentional. I do love the way they're looking at each other now. And that whole bit about Choco loving Jung-woo's smell.

So did they* have sex or not? Hopefully they will tell us in two days. Such a tease. I do appreciate how forward Choco is being. Only three episodes left, we've got to move this romance along!

*edit: I wasn't paying enough attention and thought it was Jung-woo in bed with Choco at the end. But the question still remains for Milk and the bar owner. (i'm sorry, he has no name given, and i simply cannot call him by his family relationship identifier when discussing his sex life.)

Milk is now the one approaching the bar owner/uncle! (I should really look up his name.) Although it does seem it's just to find a hiding spot from Jung-woo and Choco and his feelings about them. He's clearly feeling left out, but I can't tell if it's because he's romantically interested in one or both of them, if it has something to do with how they need to leave soon, or if it's just a general feeling of being left out. I did love how very cat he was in both the way he approached the bar owner and in the way he got drunk. I didn't even know there was a cat way of getting drunk, but Milk did it. I am charmed by Milk and the bar owner's interactions, so I'm personally not that upset about the show seeming to abandon the polyamory option.

I was kind of curious to see who the ex-boyfriend was, or find out anything about him. Is that going to become a plot point in the last three episodes, or did he merely facelessly appear just to show us Choco jealous again, and in a different, more serious way.

Also, swing set scene, my beloved. I think this is the fourth or fifth time I've seen it, and I've loved each and every one.

Ah. Apparently the uncle/bar owner doesn't actually have a name, at least according to MDL. They just list him as "Uncle."

i have been thinking a lot about how the beast ancients would handle love, as i have been seeing a lot of awesome fanfics of like oc kids of the beast ancients, and i think i even saw one dragonberry had a crush on the person (i think). with that being said, would there be anyone the neo beasts love enough to be merciful towards? if not what would they be like towards a cookie if they did have one dear to them like that? you know how saint vanilla loves white lily enough to "purify her last", and i think you said dark choco might be the only one who can reach out to frigid and get him to come to his senses? would he still freeze his own son for getting too close or touching him?

Canonically it varies wildly but I can give some examples!

Dragonberry does genuinely love her family. The thing is that her beastly pride and ambition make it really hard to tell, especially when she’s walking on Royal and Jungleberry’s positions, ordering Wildberry like a lapdog, and ofc being lax on what kind of danger Princess gets into if it’ll make her come home faster. You’d have to look for the subtle things like her personality not changing much around them, or in the last example, giving certain people (Saint) the express order to not touch them.

Saint can and does, but his definition is wildly different from ours. Mercy to him is purification, and his immense compassion for everyone on earthbread means everyone is deserving of it. However, going off our definition… not really? Though those in is cult and Lily are spared, he still wishes to save them, in Lily’s case especially. Him loving someone more means him wanting to save them sooner; he didn’t leave Lily for last because he loves her, but it’s because he loves her that Lily could bargain for her life. However, with their deal he can certainly express his love as he waits, and he’d even help her with certain things. He would be pretty protective of her because of their deal.

Oh boy cacao. It’s hard for him to hear his own thoughts about Choco, but hearing his name makes him react so intensely with emotion that there has to be something there, right? Are the permafrost and licorice sea expanding because they can or is it because they’re acting on Cacao’s immense need to find his son? Does he think his corruption is Choco’s fault or does he think Choco could have the answer for what he wants?? Is Choco really the be all and end all for how he’s defeated/saved or is he just another element in whatever twisted plan he has underneath the silence and isolation…

Cheese… ish? She doesn’t feel any kind of love love towards anyone. Rich Cheese isn’t her daughter in this au so there’s nothing there either. I’d say if she did though shed be similar to Dragonberry, though more protective.

Lily is complicated. She never expresses if she loves Saint, but her actions and other words imply that she does. Love is something she acknowledges she has, and she would genuinely be protective and caring for someone she loves, but the problem is that she doesn’t have anyone else besides another Beast. She is kinda maternal in behavior for her faerie subjects, but Sovereignty means it’s also easy to think that letting them do whatever they want damn the consequences means she doesn’t care. Despite all of this she is still the most normal one in the room

Post mystic flour eps the cacaonian cookies return to crispia, yet not all have recovered from their brush with apathy.

Wildberry cookie, who turned around and came back just after the others had left on a gut feeling, goes to see them and sees crunchy chip who doesn't look right. He finds out that a lot of them haven't quite recovered their full emotions back, and while dark cacao did overcome mystic flour and got stronger he needs to recover himself before he can really help anyone else, Dark choco is doing his best but obviously is not fully prepared either. The unit get to go have a break while they all figure out what to do about the cookies who are struggling, some recover fairly quickly once they get back, some don't. Caramel, Crunchy and the other two among the latter.

Wild is utterly devastated and stays even longer to help find an answer. Helping out dark choco at first until dark cacao is back on his feet, and then focusing particularly on his boyfriend and trying to get a reaction, anything to prove he's under there. He gets a little progress via the creamwolf pack, sees the spark in crunchys eyes flash for but a moment when they all rush him for attention. After that though it's nothing and it's incredibly taxing to see all that passion gone.

He finds himself in the uncomfortable position of being the more openly emotional of the pair, and also asking himself if crunchy will still love him after, if he ever gets his feelings back. It's not a pleasant feeling to have when you have a ring in your pocket you'd been working on while he was away saving the world.

Caramel arrow is no help, arguably in a worse condition that Crunchy Chip, because he ends up talking to second watcher who is a wreck over his nieces condition, he already lost her parents, and to him this is even worse because she's still technically alive, but she's hardly spoke and not even taken to the training grounds to use her bow which she used to love doing.

Crunchy does notice the general mood and points it out.

Wildberry, being fed up by this point, just steels himself and tells Crunchy that once he's better he'll take him on a date. A proper one. No monsters or fighting or imminent doom. He knows he can get better and he will. They'll go have a picnic in the woods or go visit crunchys family over in his home village, hang out with the wolf pack or go get another herring jelly pie.

"I..... I think I'd....like ..that?"

"I know"

Then Wildberry kisses him and when they pull away all of a sudden crunchy reacts to it in his typical style, something like "woof, that was a surprise" or something

And they both laugh and then Wild suddenly realises that what they needed this whole time was some big feeling to kick start their emotions, all the quickly recovered soldiers had partners or children- (second watcher was too busy to give Caramel the overwhelming amount she would need to recover)

They both quickly report what happened and run off to find Caramel

The Burns Melted Into Gold Alternate AU of the AU

So I was looking at some references for the Beasts to draw in the AU for the big master post I'll be dropping after the fic is finished and I decided that it would be fun to sort of share what I think could've happened to GB if either 1. The Rebellion finds him or 2. If Burning Spice Cookie just left GB with the Spice Swarm.

So- if GingerBrave was found by the Rebellion after the death of Golden-Lacquered Cookie...

I think that GB would have killed GL AFTER she was successful in altercating GingerBrave's body i.e. she was able to go through with the original surgery and have him hollowed out to follow her orders blindly. BUT! GB rejects his purpose and yadda-yadda GL dies but GB knows that there is no one who will help because he's the "son" of the Golden Empress.

So he crawls into his tower where all the fabrics of the deceased Ancient Heroes are and lies there, hoping to die (even though he can't). Cue in the Rebellion invading the kingdom and being so confused on why they find GL's body decomposing.

It's Dark Choco Cookie who finds GingerBrave and has to choose: either spare GB and take him to the Rebellion to get better OR end his life as GB begs

Now for the Spice Swarm...

If Burning Spice Cookie believed that the Soul Jam of Abundance would react to GB, then he would give him over to Nutmeg Tiger and her tribe. He would demand that she keep a close eye on him and make sure he doesn't show signs of soul jam-like power. (This would also take place where Gl succeeded in turning GB into a Golden Soldier). The tiger tribe treats GB like a rookie, a youngster who needs to learn the law of the land. And he becomes a close ally to the Beasts once he proves later down the line that he is loyal to Burning Spice Cookie and the Spice Swarm

2. If Burning Spice Cookie left GB to the Kulfi tribe, they would take him in and care for him until he's healthy. He'll be one of the few cookies allowed to interact and protect the Kulfi. He also becomes a great caretaker for babies and the elderly in the village.

3. If Burning Spice Cookie gave GingerBrave to the Pangolins, then Pepper Pangolin Cookie would try to see if GB has any power that can create better armor for their armor. But GB doesn't so she decides that he would be a great watcher when they sleep or be a "diplomat" to the other tribes when there is a dispute. Pepper Pangolin and GB would be a great duo

4. If Burning Spice Cookie shoved GB to the Clinatro snakes, there would be much of a welcoming party since most of the snakes live underground. But Cilantro Snake Cookie knows when there is a good deal to use someone like GB for food, shelter, or to just have a bit of power over the other tribes.

5. If Burning Spice Cookie gave GB to the Saffron Buffalo Tribe, they would not take kindly to him. They would challenge him and actually rough him up a bit to test him. But it would be the chief's wife who shows the more gentle side of the Saffron Buffalo Tribe and she takes GB in to learn how to heal and how to better care for the warriors in the tribe.

And perhaps in another world, GB would flee to return to the Cookie Kingdom and simply fall into a self-made coma in front of Strawberry's and Wizard's graves- aware that he is the reason for their deaths.

Just some rambles- lemme me know your ideas for this AU of an AU!
