Hi!! Can you do 2, 51 and 89 for Colt × mc??
Angst/fluff prompt list
Ellie’s heart pounds against her chest, the roar of the Cavalieri is a familiar feeling to her as it moves through the stretch of road before them. It’s been almost a year since she’s left LA behind and somehow he still found her. Then again, it’s not that hard. She’s stationary, rooted to a dream that seems more and more like a nightmare everyday, but he’s free and untethered with the time and freedom to get on his Cavalieri and drive.
That’s why it didn’t surprise her that much when he knocked on her dorm room door at ten in the evening with no prior call or text, took her hand and told her that he was taking her out for a ride.
The Cavalieri stops in front of her dorm building, the sound of the engine harsh and loud in the quiet night, and she hops off and she looks at him, her eyes taking in every detail she has missed and continues to miss. She watches him as he expertly dismounts the bike before leans against it, his eyes boring into her, searching for traces of the Ellie he knew and appreciating the Ellie he sees now.
“I thought you forgot about me.”
Colt scoffs, his arms folding in front of his chest. “Didn’t I tell you that I’d forget my own name before I forget you? I could never forget you, El.”
“It’s been a year,” She reasons, even though her heart leaps at the confession.
“I’m aware,” Colt moves forward and stands in front of her, his height towering over hers. He tilts his head towards the towering buildings of Langston. “Is it fun?”
“No,” She answers too fast—too honestly. “I miss LA…I miss a lot of things.”
“I’m sure,” a smile tugs on Colt’s lips, “I could take you away. Bring you home.”
Home. The word tugs at the edges of Ellie’s heart. Nowhere in her life has ever felt home—not LA, not Langston, not even the shop. It’s only with him that she’s ever felt home.
But she’s not ready to have that conversation with herself. Not when she knows the how heavy her words will feel in the solemn and comforting lull between them.
“Stay here tonight,” Ellie suggests, her voice more vulnerable that she’d like it to be.
Colt leans forward, his face close to hers. “We could get caught.” “We’ll be quiet,” but Ellie knows they won’t be. Nothing about Colt is ever quiet when it’s only them alone.
“That’s not happening,” Colt promises as he settles his hands on her hips, his nails lightly digging into her skin over her skirt.
Ellie bites her bottom lip, the words hanging on the edge of her tongue: take me with you, I’m not happy here, I miss you, I still love you and you make me feel alive. But she keeps them at bay, she’s not ready to say those words—not ready to give them life when some parts of her still uselessly cling to her old dreams and to her old self.
“Let me text my roommate at least,” Ellie says as she reaches into her pocket and pulls out her phone. The blue light of her phone between them illuminates their faces and she takes the opportunity to glance briefly up at him. Her heart flutters at the soft smile directed at her and she’s a little comforted that even if it’s only for tonight—mere hours with each tick of the clock—she finally feels like she’s home.

50 Wordless Ways to Say “I Love You”
Pairing: Ride or Die | Logan x Ellie Summary: A highlight reel of the most important moments of their life. A/N: Highly suggest reading this in order (all even numbers for Logan).   @troublemakerinspace
#10 Sitting in comfortable silence while eating a meal.
Jim, Logan’s boss and undoubtedly one of his closest friend, peeks into the little square window on the shop’s breakroom door. His eyes flit nervously between Ellie and Logan sitting across each other on the table.
They’re both eating lunch, their eyes glued to their phone, as they sit in silence.
Which is weird.
The whole reason why Jim and many of their other coworkers don’t eat in the breakroom when Ellie eats her lunch with him is because the couple like to talk and kiss a lot and it gets uncomfortable sometimes, as if the general public doesn’t exist between the two when they’re near each other.
So them not talking—not doing anything—and just eating lunch is very weird.
Ellie moves to stand from her seat and Jim quickly moves away as he pretends to be doing something else and definitely not being nosy and concerned that something might have happened between his friend and his girlfriend.
“Oh hey Jim!” Ellie calls out when she exits the breakroom and waves over to him with a big smile. “Thanks for letting me eat here all the time.”
“Yeah no problem Ellie,” Jim tries to sound casual as he shoves his hands into his pockets. “Take care of yourself.”
Ellie gives him a two finger salute as she hastily makes her way out of the shop. Once he could no longer see her, Jim turns on his heels and practically yanks opens the door. The sound of the door rattling makes Logan look up, his hands mid-clean up of the takeout Ellie had brought.
“Are you two fighting?”
Logan blinks and looks at Jim in confusion. “Who? Me and El?”
“Yeah,” Jim confirms as he takes a seat in front of Logan with a deep sigh. “I get it. Fights are normal. Hell, my wife and I fight over the stupidest shit. Just last week she told me to buy tomato sauce right? Which is actually different from marinara sauce, who fucking knew? I certainly didn’t, I mean they’re both red and tomato is red so—”
“Woah wait,” Logan hurriedly interjects, already sensing an oncoming monologue from Jim. “Why would you think me and El are fighting?” Logan frowns, a sudden worry knotting in the pit of his stomach. “Did she say something to you?”
“No but I saw it,” Jim gestures between the general area of the break room. “You two weren’t talking and kissing—which I’ve told you to quit it by the way—and you were just…eating.”
Logan blinks, his eyebrows furrowing in confusion. “Yeah, we do that all the time at home.”
Now Jim looks confused. “You do?”
“Yeah,” Logan laughs in relief when he realizes that it’s nothing after all before he moves to the trash and throws out the takeout boxes. “Sometimes we have nothing to talk about and that’s fine.”
“So what’s the point of her driving all the way here then?”
Logan moves to sit on the chair across Jim with a silly grin as he shrugs and looks at him pointedly. “Better company?”
“Ha ha, great joke asshole. That earns you one hour of dealing with Marge from accounting.”
Logan groans in annoyance, his head tilting back. “Marge hates me! She’s still not over the team building incident.”
“Boo hoo so she tripped on your leg and her team lost,” Jim mocks teasingly while Logan sends him a weak glare. Jim pushes himself off of his chair and exits the breakroom with a cackle and a middle finger up in the air. “Deal with it!”
Logan sighs as he pulls out his phone and sends a quick text to Ellie to lament on the cruel suffering that has been brought upon by the future interaction of Marge from accounting. His lips quirk into a smile when Ellie immediately responds to his message by sending a bunch of heart and crying emojis and an onslaught of support, encouragement and love.
