OH HERE WE GO AGAIN!!

You know how I work; predict names and seiyuus that have the most potential of being possible for reality. Without any further delay, let's break this down.

Cure Name Predictions

Given that the name screams possible theme of not only cooking, but maybe all that high-class...social gatherings and dances, here is what I have in mind:

Cure Fancy (this is stupid but I'm not surprised if this happens)

Cure Cheesecake (Or Cheesecake can be a mascot name)

Jubilee (if that ain't a mascot name, I'll be disappointed)

I'm thinking a lot about your Weiss/yuffie au, and I'm wondering what Godo's reaction to all this will be. like, his daughter vanishes and comes back hopped up on lifestream juice, explosive grandkid in tow, shacked up with a bunch of secret super soldiers with their own various issues. I imagine it would work out eventually because it's always good to have powerful people who hate shinra as allies instead of enemies, but dang, that's an awkward in-law situation

Well, to say it is an awkward in-law situation is an understatement~

First, this is based on the Final Fantasy VII Remake and it is stated that Godo is imprisoned after being forcibly removed and replaced by an interim government due to the truce. Naturally, a lot of Wutaians were upset about how Godo let the war continue until there was so much death and destruction, including Yuffie.

Now, onto the ask. Godo... doesn't know what to even say to this. Not only has he learned of ALL the things you just described, but also a son-in-law who planned to overthrow that interim government and use it as a safe haven for the Deepground soldiers.

Plus, Godo would still be in prison as Weiss sees him as a potential threat but allows Yuffie to visit him with Chiwa. In fact, him being Yuffie's father is the reason why Weiss didn't kill him.

How will I portray Wutai in my AU 

Now, I know that people will ask me why am I doing this and I could just wait for the third installment but I have been working on this since 2021. Between this and working two jobs, I want to post this and the FFVII Deepground OCs I had for about two to three years at this point.

We know that Wutai and Shinra were at war with each other for a decade, especially Shinra being the instigator. 

Yuffie, being the princess, wants to restore Wutai’s former glory and is willing to do anything to do it. I have no issues with portraying it as such. However, after a conversation with a friend, I am adding some parts of Wutai to this AU. She said that Wutai had caused some controversy in East Asia. She explained that Wutai wanting to get back their pre-war glory is too much like Imperial Japan. 

In a condensed form, Japan in the early 20th century committed war crimes and crimes against humanity against Korea, China, the Philippines, and Indonesia. This includes, but is not limited to, human experimentation (Unit 731), brutal colonization, sexual slavery (comfort women), mass murder, theft, destruction of historical land, and forced labor. Even after Imperial Japan collapsed and lost WWII, they denied any wrongdoing to this day, along with America suppressing it. There were campaigns to prevent any acknowledgment in Japan, mainly by right-wing nationalists. This caused massive tension between them and the rest of Eastern Asia, especially South Korea, which is a MAJOR American ally. 

While I do not believe that SquareSoft (before the merger with Enix) was framing Wutai as a fallen Imperial Japan in a nationalist way, I had to redo some of my framing of the country. So I decided to base it more on Qing Dynasty China and early modern South Korea.

In the EWR AU, Wutai is a tourist trap like in canon but in a worse shape. There is economic instability, deindustrialized, and living in poor conditions. Basically, like the slums under the plates. Along with that, there is high unemployment as Shinra refused to hire Wutaians for paid work and forced them to be hard labor. Due to Shinra propaganda, most of the world did not know about this, except for Avalanche and other groups. Even SOLDIER was not aware of this, which will be important later. It is not helped that some clans betrayed the Kisaragi family for good favors from Shinra and abandoned their fellow Wutaians. This is BEFORE Shinra's human rights abuses and war crimes towards POWs and captured citizens as some were thrown into Deepground.

Now, this lays down the foundation of Weiss’ plan. It is taking down the interim government, killing their leaders, wiping out the traitorous clans, and taking the Wutaian throne. However, he is not doing it alone. He has Yuffie and their BABY girl on his side. Not to mention, he has brought his loyal army from Deepground with him. All after they broke out from Sector 0. 

Once that happens, he ensures that Wutai is rebuilding fast and hard. Shinra will have another war they ask for, but with a different outcome.

Hello! I just got into ff7 and Dee-ground lore, and I'm very interested in your The Emperor’s White Rose AU! do you have anything planned for the Weiss/yuffie child?

I did actually~

Her name is Chiwa and she is regarded as the "Hope of Deepground" as she is a major motivation for Weiss' plan to escape Deepground and revenge against Shinra.

She was born after a rather short pregnancy, being six months, and has "Burst Mako". It means that she can combust with little damage to herself and her parents due to their supernatural durability but MAJOR damage to anyone around her. In fact, several scientists died during her birth.

Once Shinra and Hojo learned that Yuffie could indeed have another child with Weiss, they deemed Chiwa, whom they dubbed as W-O-001, as disposable and planned to dissect her for effective bombs. This motivates Weiss and the Tsviets to break out and escape to Wutai.

That's all I have at the moment since I am making more OCs, similar to Carmine~
