so ive been thinking of birthdays for the chips... the only ones we know of is bert's (oct. 18th), rotten's (june 30th) and dandy's (july 4th). here's some ive come up with a few of the chips, and the reasons why i gave them that day!!!

keep in mind the bdays listed below are hcs, i'd love to see other people's interpretations!!

vosim: may 27th ╰➤ stems from his chipspeech release day. that day's very very very important to me. <3

cidertalk: january 24th ╰➤ stems from the day the macintosh was introduced

dee klatt: april 1st ╰➤ because i said so. <3

spencer: july 23rd ╰➤ stems from the release date of the game "B-17 bomber"

sam: august 24th ╰➤ stems from a few things. august comes from the month the commodore 64 was released + 24 is what you get when you multiply 6 and 4 together :o]

voder: april 22nd ╰➤ stems from this lol

back in ye olden times (like late 2019) and I was getting into chip. one of the first things i ever heard was that wip of a cover of boom boom boom by kira with vosim and rotten. and first and foremost I had never even heard rotten tuned like that before and wondered what witchcraft it was (it was changing his impulse. that's it) but also. you all know I'm the rert truther but before rert that cover made me ship vosim and rotten cuz they made that song about 5000% more homoerotic than it had any right to be

ugh. it's about time. yep, ive left the chipspeech fandom for real and i feel GREAT about it.

the twitlonger below details my final thoughts to the fandom, as well as a mini-callout/rant on the people who drove me to leave.

i dont care if i get dogpiled for this, i'm out of here for real.

chip fandom/vsynth fandom or not, spread this, please. many of my friends are scared to talk about this shit and im one of the only few out there now who's still got the courage to speak out on this shit.
