i am so glad I barely pay attention to this shitty relationship anymore .

**NewsFlash: Fans of Austin do not have to like Kaia. We are fans of Austin, not Kaia.

Fans can respect that their favorite actor is dating someone, or has a girlfriend (or boyfriend), but they do not have to join the fan club of their significant other, nor do they have to love their relationship.

I've been a fan of plenty of celebrities who I knew were in crap relationships, and I didn't care for them. Eventually, they broke up, and I was relieved lol 😅.

If you're genuinely a fan of both of them, then that's fine. But if some of Austin's fans are *not* a fan of Kaia, that should be okay too!

Just because an actor is dating someone, it doesn't mean that now we all have to join the cult of their significant other and like them just because he/she is dating them. 🙄

It doesn't make you a "bad fan" just because you don't care for the girlfriend/significant other of your favorite actor. If you wouldn't be a fan of theirs if your favorite actor weren't dating them, then you don't have to be a fan of them now.

A lot of fans aren't against Austin having a girlfriend at all (most of us recall the Austin/Vanessa years). Most fans just believe that Austin can do much better in terms of a partner.

I hope that you guys learn a hard lesson from this. Shipping people in real life isn’t good. It’s one thing for you to think someone makes a beautiful couple , or think people would look great together sure…but when you start assuming things or start harassing others for their opinion that is opposite of yours….that’s when it gets unhealthy. All the harassment and running people off for a couple that didn’t even make it to their 3 year mark…it was not worth it.

Telling people they can’t come back to the fandom because they may have left because of how much it took over Austin’s relationship is crazy work. People got sick and tired of a supposed to be fun hobby , being a dread because everything was made about his gf. People just wanted peace and to have fun and that’s what we got now. A lot of people who “left” loved Austin dearly & just wanted to celebrate his wins and who he is without all the extra bs💕🥂

PS. Also being bullied and harassed for not shipping a relationship wasn’t worth it in some people’s eyes. People were trying to be here for Austin’s WORK but was accused of being fake or mean for not wanting to focus on him when it comes to anything related to Kaia. So they left . Enjoying your favorite celeb shouldn’t come w a mf headache.

I am sure Kaia did the dumping , I do not think Austin did it. Kaia, she knows her worth and what she can bring to the table . I do not know why you all give him so much power and automatically assume that Austin did the dumping.

This has to be trolling . There is no way you are serious with this ridiculous nonsense. You really think an Oscar nominee who has been in the business longer than his “girlfriend” doesn’t know what he bring to the table ? A man who is the reason why her name is out in the tabloids a lot more since dating him ? Kaia is an insecure girl she definitely doesn’t know her worth . You can legit look at her and tell that, especially some of the public interactions with Austin too. She can’t keep up with that man and who he is. Kaia isn’t the one who did the dumping if they are broken up I can tell you that. Her behavior screams “oh let me make my ex/man jealous” . To the anon that said kaia should not talk about austin, my question is what would a girl with a boyfriend be doing in a men's locker gym? if this does not state that she is single then I don't know what else would, I just hope she does not indirectly shade Austin or even talk about Austin and just mind her business

She said that she is at a stage in her life where she doesn't like to miss anything (party related) because sometimes when she says that there are no fun things happening. So obviously she is not at the same stage with Austin, I don't care what Kaia does because she is 23 years old and very young, but if she has a boyfriend there is a respect that she should have. If she wants to have a good time and be with several men, she can do it, but single or at least not with Austin.

Idk why some of you let that little model girl get to you. She seems a bit out of touch and clearly has put on a persona to impress AB. Relationships like that do not end well. Not to bash the guy but he seems to have issues with being alone. A lot of people of his generation and hers seem to struggle with that. They end up in these relationships just to say they have someone. They end up with not so good people or relationships that don’t fulfill them because they aren’t compatible with their partner. They lose themselves in it and I kind of feel that’s what Kaia has done to some extent up here trying to impress him with a character she just doesn’t have. That’s why they look so miserable. No it’s not privacy or anything of that nature…they just don’t fit. Both of them I believe are to proud to let go. He doesn’t want to because he will look like an ass which will tarnish his pretty boy image and she doesn’t wanna let go because who else is going to be on his level ? Not as a man but look at that status he has given her. I really think you & others who aren’t fans of this circus should really focus on his work and they will end eventually.

I agree with your take for the most part , except focusing on his work. We have tried , it’s hard. That’s why some of us stay off places like twitter where this is a lot of shippers at and be here on tumblr venting. It’s more than just the relationship itself . It’s the shippers who won’t let people have their opinions and be creating trouble. They have ran so many people out the fandom simply because those people wanted to focus on his work and didn’t care for the relationship. A fan base is supposed to be fun. Shipping your fav is something that’s supposed to bring joy. Something you do in your downtime for enjoyment not something that you may low key dread because soon as you see a picture of another shitty pap walk you just know it’s going to be some bs that day in the fandom. Being a fan of someone is not something that should stress you or anything . Like I told another anon , we do not know this man. Being a fan of his and arguing constantly with people is not worth it. Like yes Austin is a magnificent man, and seems like a genuine guy but being a fan of his has not always been fun because unfortunately his relationship with Kaia has taken over his hard work.
