Wanted to do some fanart for @floofrights's excellent webcomic Chilli the Vampire Oppossum and there was only one route I could take, to be honest.

Chilli The Vampire Opposum season 1 was so good that I had to put it down before I could start th3 second second season of issues just so I could sit down and digest everything. I'm so glad I did cause now that I'm back and reading season 2 it really helped me be able to better take in everything. CTVO has to be one of my favorite of all time webcomics. I could not recommend it enough.

re: webcomic recs. if you're looking for a wacky hospital horror series, Awful Hospital is really long and really good. there'a a lot of gross out, body horror, and weird scifi mumbo jumbo, but the art is cute and the cast is charming!

if you want cutesy furries a-la cometcare, i'd suggest laika's comet! it's only 2 chapters in rn, but it has an lgbt cast and also has themes of found family, trauma, self-discovery etc... art is phenomenal, author is so sweet, u can read it here on hellsite- what more can u want

if u like weird vibes, chilli the vampire opossum is here. it also has a lot of content, but the art is a little less refined in areas. it's got a pulpy comic book feel to it, and its cast is really fun to read (also feat. lgbt, poc, and disability rep!!)

y'know ironically despite me being a giant fan of sparklecare cat comic is overall more inspired by a mix of Cucumber Quest, Chilli the Vampire Opossum, & Poppy O'possum tbh

funnily enough I had this entire period through like. october - december of last year where I just sat down and read a bunch of webcomics to learn more about the craft and it did wonders lol. Might make an updated webcomic/webmedia masterlist cause they're just that fun to consume
