i call them meanwolves for a reason lol! being nice helps a lot for sure, and being a people pleaser could get you out of trouble. but sometimes, trouble is going to be unavoidable. some pack members (lance and sully) are just waiting for you to fuck up so they can punish you, and if you don’t give them a reason, they’ll be forced to invent one. some (blake and basil) might actually become a problem the more compliant you are and feel emboldened to act on the urges they’re usually restraining. max, at least, is consistent lol you can win max over easy by being nice.
