Got a new box of glazes in from @amacobrent just in time for glaze day today at #MudslingersStudio ✨ Glaze day is my favorite, second only to our Mud Exhibits. This is the first time students are reacquainted with what they've been making this semester, as I will have been taking their things to load into the bisque kilns as the work dries. The work gets fired and is out of sight until glaze day. When they come in for class and see all their projects laid out together for the first time, their their jaws just drop! ✨After tonight's mud exhibit at Mudslingers, the studio is EMPTY and my heart is FULL!!! 🙌🍶😻 I am always surprised by how much I miss these lil clay kiddos in the time between class and exhibits, and I love watching their eyes light up as they proudly point out each little pot they've made to their families. They are all so unbelievably creative, and I am amazed/over-the-moon/excited by how they all end up creating such unique little treasures out of these prompts. They themselves are unique little treasures, and I learn more and more from them with each class 😊✌️🌱I can't believe the Dixie's summer clay camps are over--but applications for Fall classes are already available online!
