I like to think that in the long run they all kind of influence each other and certain things rub off on one another.

Lo and J have a ton of tattoos and are way more on the humble side when it comes to clothes and accessories and even their home. When Angelus pretty much became a third resident in the manor he couldn't exactly let go of how his previous life in Summerset was. The guy came from a ridiculously wealthy family so he was used to all the finest--well...everything. He basically replaced half the stuff in the manor with what he deemed better. Actual silverware, expensive rugs, better equipment for Loke, bought a lot of gifts for the boys in the form of clothes and accessories and in the case of Jela jewelry. Was kind of his way of saying "Hey, out of all you assholes I tolerate you the most."

The rest of the gifts, renovations and such weren't exactly given out of the goodness of his heart. Was more along the lines of "Fuck I gotta live here now so might as well make the place look to MY liking and get these two idiots out of those rags they wear because it's an eyesore." Needless to say Loke did NOT like him one bit at first and Jelani's too nice for his own good.

Tbf Angelus is NOT supposed to be likeable at all at first. Which is so painful to write him as a jerk because he was basically my first baby lol. Also regular version is the complete opposite of him and Loke and Trevor both see him as a little brother and are pretty protective of him because of what he went through as a child. Anyway, point is he's an unbelievable asshole at first but after a certain point which I'm actually writing btw, he does a 180. He even volunteers to help Thalmor prisoners escape and even does some undercover to find prisoners. For super obvious reasons he also made enemies of the Dawnguard and Vigilants of Stendarr.

After something else that happens even Loke starts to like him and from that point on every time he gives gifts it's because he does it out of gratitude to both of them and just to be nice.

So with time both Jela and Lo's wardrobe tends to change a smidge for the better and even their weapons improve in quality. Out of pure curiosity Angelus asks about their tattoos and even gets some done on him as well (colorful and glowy). He's more of a magic user but the boys teach him how to fight using daggers and swords and a little hand to hand but he doesn't resort to it if he can help.

Eventually all three fall into a pretty peaceful and harmonious living situation. He's still a pompous little shit but he just gets nicer.
