Team Campfire - Fig (cyndaquil, she/any) + Chive (chikorita, she/her)

fig: not much of a talker, it's hard to get a read on her. her shyness gets read as being cool and mysterious, which she's fine with. content with her pokemon form, but takes a long time to get comfortable in it. has accidentally set more than a few things on fire

chive: much more outgoing than her partner, she does most of the talking for the team. very passionate about food and cooking, she hopes to open a cafe one day. always experimenting with random nuts and berries, with a little help from fig's flames

Team Obsidian - Mistral (totodile, she/they) + Cinder (vulpix, she/they)

mistral: seemingly has absolutely no sense of danger of self preservation, she's reckless and hardly ever thinks things through. scares the shit out of cinder on a daily basis by doing something stupid. a bit of a self-sacrificial idiot, they get it from grovyle

cinder: anxiety incarnate. absolute wet cat of a fox. she's wanted to be an explorer her whole life, but getting badly injured in a dungeon scared her away from it for a long time. much more calm and confident nowadays, getting dragged into dangerous situations by a certain gator forced her to get over a lot of her fears

Team Hydra - Ceru (oshawott, she/xe) + Olivine (axew, he/they)

ceru: the funny one. you may know her from my critically acclaimed shitposts. xe's the oshknwott that works at subway. didn't have a whole lot going for xem as a human, she's much happier with her life as a pokemon

olivine: ollie to his friends. absolute guy. kind to a fault. he loves to feel useful and help other pokemon, to the point they forgets to look after themself. loves his friends and will fight anyone who is mean to them

The Rapids- Mistral (totodile, she/they) + Basil (riolu, they/them)

mistral: yeah the same guy from team obsidian. don't ask me how that works in lore, i don't know. this version is a bit younger

basil: let's hear it for kids with Problems!!!! they're around 12 years old, with all the accompanying issues that come with being around 12 years old. they tend to come off as overly enthusiastic or annoying, they really struggled to make friends until mist came along. they put on a brave face, but they've got hella insecurities

Anyway. Hello hello, my username is cinderpaw11 but you can call me Rian! Sinnohan trainer with 7 lovely dearest babies, all of them dramatic and talented at causing mischief. I haven’t specialized in a type since my journey, however I do have a soft spot for grass types. Don’t start with me about them being a “weak” type, I’ll mega drain the shit out of you. Asshole.

I have Disabilities. There are many. I am not listing them all. Suffice it to say my muscles are shit and I use a power wheelchair full time (no I do not sleep in it). Also my brain and digestive system rebel on a regular basis. Ain’t that just the way.

Started this account just today, my friends finally convinced me. Not sure what to make the blog about? Guess we’ll see what happens!

Now, for team introductions!

Finny the Lumineon - he’s been with me for as long as I can remember (as you can tell by the name). He’s very important to me. There was a period where we were separated due to personal issues, but it’s all good now :)

Toto the Ditto - yes it’s a real ditto. No I didn’t steal it. It was my first pokemon I caught on my journey, and no I am not lying. It’s also my service mon!

Blimp the Drifblim - we met on my journey when I got lost late at night, they found me and led me to a pokemon center. I’m still not sure if he was trying to whisk me away like the pokedex claims, but we’ve been inseparable ever since!

Lily the Lilligant - I got Lily as a petilil from my brother who was going through an international trading phase at the time. I don’t think there’s a single mon on his team native to Sinnoh, LMAO. Lily is very sweet, she loves gardening!

Ember the Rapidash - I had a horse girl moment on my journey. Though I’m pretty sure every trainer with a rapidash can say the same. I don’t really ride her anymore, my back can’t handle it, but she loves racing and eating from Lily’s garden when she isn’t looking.

Baby the Blissey - baby is my baby!!! I got her as an egg on my journey and the others helped raise her. She’s very gentle and stubborn. She will convince Blimp to hit me with Hypnosis if I stay up too late. I love her though. Edit: she's also Toto's daughter

Jellybean the Frillish - Jellybean is disabled from Team Calm's Ultra Domesticated (UD) experiments, and also happens to be intersex. She can't battle, as she can barely move even in water, so she's very much a house mon! I'm trying to teach her emotional independence - it's a work in progress.

Zeus was my lil golden ball of fluff, became a pink one, and is now a yellow lighthouse with arms and i love him very much. Also, I'm including each member's "team rank," as in like their chain of command. I don't play favorites, I love all my children equally I don't care for Job. Zeus was literally the 2nd kiddo to join the team, so he's been my ride or die. The OG Gold was my first video game and Ampharos was on my team, so he was a must for this go-around

Zeus has purely SpAtk and status moves -- 10 y/o me had this lambchop using Thunder Punch with an ass attack stat. Signal Beam comes in for unexpected Dark/Psychic countering, and Thunder Wave ruins ppl's battles with ease.

One of the Eeveelutions I've never used in a team comp before, and he's an unexpectedly powerful one! Other than Lapras, I'm not a fan of the Surfers gen 2 can offer so after robbing Bill at g*npoint for his Eevee, I got this monster!

Neptune's got beefy stats an Aqua Ring + Leftovers combo that results in his huge hp pool getting decent restoration every turn. He can take down dragons, mountains, and more!

i've literally never played overwatch b4 why do u ask Sombra is the newest member of the team when I caught a Misdreavus between Cianwood and the Safari! I always thought the Gen 4 Extra Evolutions were super cool (future team members will continue this trend) and Mismagius' aesthetic fits the team.

With a Ghost and Dark attack, Sombra likes to hit that sick Double Team once or twice at the start of each match to be annoying especially since she's also holding Bright Powder. I also taught her Energy Ball for unexpected counters against Water/Ground/Rock!

To all the percy jackson stans who think I'm pretty damn cool rn, I'm sorry to have to tell you the truth: I just play a lot of Hades, I love you plz don't be mad at me. But yes, this is the Togepi we're given from Elm/Oak and this is another thing I have to thank Gen 4 for as well! I always loved the idea of getting a cute, rare pokemon to hatch, but it never became anything too remarkable until Togekiss rounded out the evolutionary trio.

Artemis is a WALL with some great SpAtk as well. I taught him Bulk Up to help her regular Def match his SpDef, as well as giving a little more punch to Fly. All that + tons of HP make Artemis incredibly balanced and reliable fighter.

Honey is the sweetest and the babiest of my sweet babies. Yes, I run a Dragon Dance + Murder Combo. Yes, his name is Honey cuz that's what color he is.

I adore Dragon pokemon, and Dragonite has always been one I never got to use as a kid for one reason or another. He's adorable, he hits like a mac truck, and just look at that lil smile!

Despite Chikorita being my truest love of the gen 2 starters, I will never deny anyone's claims that Typhlosion kicks ass. Diego felt more appropriate for the team I wanted to build, considering my only other go-to fire type is Arcanine. Arcanine is my favorite Pokemon, but I gotta give a chance to some other fire types sometimes.

He might be a bit of a glass cannon, but Diego's solid speed let's his attacks hit hard and fast. Flamethrower is a must, as is Earthquake. For Flying/Ice coverage, he's got Rock Slide, and then a fun sexy lil Aerial Ace for Fighting coverage!
