❥ Your words caused all 3 of the boys to look up at you, you were even taller than Draken, though that didn’t stop Baji from pulling you down to meet his face. “What the- you got a problem with us or something? Your apology would have been enough, four-eyes.”

❥ “I’m supposed to be asking that, rapunzel. Also, why? But I already did even though Midget, over here was the one who bumped into me.” You grabbed his wrist before pulling your headset over your ears. Draken, who was now pissed, grabbed your headset before throwing it in another direction.

❥ “Oi, do you even know who you bumped into? That’s Mikey, leader of Toman. One of the leading gangs in all of Japan” He boasted before looking at you with a glare, expecting you to start genuinely apologizing, just like the rest of those who disrespected them.

❥ “Ah, that so? Somehow you didn’t make it into the number 1 huh? Well what can I expect from gangs. You guys just love causing a ruckus everywhere, leave it up to them to mess up the world” You taunted before taking your leave, brushing against Draken’s shoulder with a snicker.

❥ “Oi… let me hit a girl-” “No.”

❥ Though, Mikey who was quiet throughout the whole ordeal found it rather fresh to finally have someone who’d actually stand against him, and in front of his face.

❥ “What do you want, king?” “King?” “Your dogs tried to bite me yesterday, Be thankful I don’t report you to the police” Yeah he found it really fun to hangout with you, finding your teasing remarks and cocky attitude with other people hilarious.

❥ “How is it that you eat so much but none of those nutrients go towards making you taller…” Nevermind, he was offended. Tried to kick you to the next life but failed because he remembered you were still a girl, a mean one at that.

❥ Because of you, his height was now a sensitive topic.

❥  The next time he tried to offer you something, he bit back with a witty remark, though not one he should be proud of....courtesy of Baji.

❥ “Manjiro-san, at least your stomach’s big.” You snickered, while he looked at you in a sneer. “ I have a lot more to show you that's big.” Oop-

❥ “Like what? Your ego? The amount of test papers you get back with red marks on them? Your missing report cards-” “Just stop.”

Draken :

❥ Needless to say both of you did not get along, not in the slightest. You weren’t a recruit per say, you weren’t even affiliated with them. You were Takemitchy's obnoxiously tall and smart friend who gave him advice and opinions that he actually appreciated.

❥ You were caught into one of their gang fights because of that, having been deemed as the hidden weapon or “brain” of Toman even though Takemitchy had only used one of your observations to their benefit.

❥ Now, your friend begged and begged for them to save you. Being held hostage was not fun, especially when it was Draken, who hated your guts, who had tried to save you. Only Draken was available, with the leader being busy and all along with Chifuyu and Mitsuya. Baji would be too much of an idiot, and Kazutora would also get himself caught, and he had a worse relationship with you.

❥ He didn’t mean to come off as rude at first. He just found it a hassle to save someone who was rude and ego-centric.

❥ “I’m not gonna stoop down to your level. So keep up.” He spoke, not bothering to look back to check if you were following him or not. “Oh, I see. That’s perfectly fine for me.” You replied, just as spitefully.

❥ Though, he didn’t think you’d actually be smart enough to take lead. Much less be calm and rational even though you had just almost been tortured for information you probably didn’t know.

❥ “Oi. If you go continuously left, and I right. We'll eventually meet at the west wing.” “..hmm..” He murmured while looking to the left. “Ha?” “I said okay!” He grumbled.

❥ “You didn’t say it clearly. You don’t want to take orders from ordinary civilians, Is that it?” You spoke while crawling around the dirt in order to not get caught by the other gang members who were roaming around. He was forced to keep quiet because of the situation, leading you to give him a smirk and for him to glance back with an irk mark.

❥ Fortunately, you had managed to escape unharmed. Takemitchy waited for you at their base crying apologies while also kneeling to you. “How was ken-chi as an escape buddy, y/n-san?” Mikey asked you with a smile. And though Draken was acting like he wasn’t paying attention, his ears were opened wide.

❥ “It was like he was telling me to “shut up and just get killed’ throughout the whole place. I was pretty sure he would leave me and get me caught there. Frankly it just pissed me of-”

“YOU PISS ME OFF TOO DAMN IT”

Chifuyu :

❥ Ah yes, the typical situation of the flunking bad boy and the unbothered forced class president lead. That was your relationship with Baji who you swore cursed you every time you’d meet. And frankly, you had too much on your plate to actually tutor him, and it wasn’t like he was willing to either.

❥ But Chifuyu, being the good friend he was, found it very alarming how Baji’s grades continued to drop and drop...and drop throughout the semester. Fearing for the worst, he was the one who came and begged for you to take care of him.

❥ Just right after you cram school with your friend, Both boys approached you. At first, Chifuyu thought you were afraid of Baji, being a hot-headed gangster after all. Oh how wrong he was.

❥ “Please! Teach him how to study” He shouted as well as bowed to you. Baji just scoffed as he looked away. “What? No.” You bluntly said, which caused them to flinch and for you to still look unbothered.

❥ “J-just, like, less than an hour each day, h-he’s not that scary i promise-” “Hey, I don’t think it’s fair that you’re having the shrimp ask for the both of you, what do you say, big guy?” You cut Chifuyu off, glancing at the gritting long-haired boy behind him.

❥ “Your brain is made up of muscle so I’m amazed you actually thought about asking me.” Chifuyu had to rub his eyes to make sure you were the same person he thought you were. He never expected the class president to act so...smugly...even going as far as to rile Baji up.

❥ But you did prove you were the right person to help them, seeing as even Baji’s mom thought of hiring or paying you to keep tutoring his son. To the point where Mikey and Draken were surprised to see Baji acting more knowledgeable than pah-chin. Just...don’t tell them how you teach him though…

❥ “You is you dubm*ss, you’re is a contraction for you are! You can’t say “You is ugly” Even for an insult! You’re insulting me more by doing so!” You hit Baji over and over again with a newspaper as Chifuyu watched with a deadpan.

❥ From how ferocious you were, Chifuyu had no doubts you could defend yourself in any way. Though maybe because he thought of scenarios on how you would react to defend yourself that got you almost harmed.

❥ “Hello, I’m the normal one. Surprise attacks may work on that idiot over there but it won’t work on me. Pleasure to meet you, violence addicted ruffians.” You spoke to the gang members who lay beaten up in front of you, thanks to your quick thinking.

❥ Chifuyu didn’t even have time to think before you countered back with such ease. Paired with your unbothered face and blunt words, he had to admit...he found that hot- I mean cool.

TOMAN HANDWRITINGS

now, i know they’re japanese and they write in different characters, but this is my blog and i can headcanon whatever i want. based on real life because i recently purchased glass dip pens and they’re cool af.

also, super bold of me to assume these boys even write. they don’t even come to school with the exception of mitsuya. 

baji, draken, mikey, chifuyu, mitsuya, souya & nahoya.

baji.

his handwriting is simply ass. he sucks at school subjects and the only one he ever passed was phys ed. he never had a pencil and he simply picked up those yellow chewed up ones off the ground and used that. those pencils never had an eraser and so he just scribbled out his mistakes. no one can read his handwriting but chifuyu.

nahoya.

honestly, his handwriting is shit too. he shows up to class with a mechanical pencil that's hanging on by a thread and he needs to ask people for lead. when he doesn't have that, his brother will grumble about him losing his pencil and begrudgingly let him borrow a blue gel pen. his handwriting is shit but it isn't as indistinguishable as baji's.

mitsuya. 

i surely hope you didn’t expect our dear taka-chan to have bad writing. he’s a man of the arts. he sews fine clothes and sketches constantly, his handwriting is impossibly neat and if that makes you jelly, then here’s some peanut butter. he owns a variety of stationary but he always makes sure to use it all. he can’t be uselessly spending. also, he doesn’t let baji or nahoya borrow his pens because he knows he won’t get them back. 

chifuyu.

he’s simply perfect. he’s read too many shoujo manga’s to not have tried to write one on his own. i believe his handwriting used to be bad but it got a lot better after heavy practice from writing. he owns the typical writing utensils. pens, pencils, highlighters, etc. however, he doesn’t own all the fancy kinds of pens and inks they have to offer at the office supplies shop. he lets baji borrow his pens but he knows he won’t get it back. 

draken.

draken is perfect in every way but his handwriting is his downfall. it’s readable but it resembles the writing of a child. he tries so hard to write neat but it just doesn’t work. he tries to put the right amount of pressure and hold it at different angles, but it’s always garbage. he is also very prone to breaking the lead. he completely gave up on wooden pencils and reverted to mechanicals. however, those kept breaking too so he upgraded to pens but then that was too slippery and he kept making too many mistakes. every path for ken’s penmanship is a struggle. despite having shit handwriting, he owns a lot of different pens and pencils due to him experimenting with different ones to improve his writing. he always has one to give away if you need one. 

mikey. 

his handwriting is that typical handwriting that a lot of girls have. it’s very round and large but incredibly legible. it’s nothing special and he doesn’t own any special pens but, his handwriting is fairly neat. i decide he only brings one working pencil to class so he doesn’t let anyone borrow it. however, that’s only if he remembered and doesn’t need draken to come and let him borrow one. 

souya. 

i believe in souya supremacy and decide that he’s got great handwriting. it’s very different from his brothers and it’s very pretty looking. he certainly owns different kinds of pens but nothing too fancy. his notes are super fun to look at because they’re just so cute looking, so contrary to his looks. he lets anyone borrow his pens but he’ll grumble about giving one to his brother.
