chicken wire isn't predator proof bc it's very easy for raccoons to stick their hands in and grab a bird but it has also stopped my neighbors gsd who went running at it
It bends easy but it doesn't break easy
#the tree rhat fell landed on part of my chicken wire fence#only had to replace the metal poles#actually part of the fence bounced right back up after the tree was removed#bc a plastic electric fence post happened to be attached to it#chicken wire can survive a 70ft sycamore falling on it
