for dgrp, i feel like every character is "unpopular" BAHSAJKAHk but for this i think i wanna go with chiaki. people hate chiaki because shes "boring" or at least they Did back when i first got into the series but shes so different in the game compared to the anime because the game shes based on her classmates' memories of her! shes only this "perfect" individual because thats how her entire class saw her, like she was made the class rep for a reason

for bsd thats really hard for me to think of because i like literally every character but uuh if i had to say one ig i'd say uuh . maybe dazai? i feel like this is in part because people typically take away from dazai's entire complex everything because he's too complex for a lot of people (including me) to truly understand, like im not saying i understand him but i feel like a lot of people will take the wrong parts of him/exclude anything they dont like about him and go with that? if that counts but idk i still like dazai so i cant say that too much

not even just the ships tbh, its liking any character thats either painted in a negative light or is just generally unpopular. the ships too but i could get to that another time. for EXAMPLE, me, i like valentino. a lot. he's one of my favorite characters. i feel like i cannot express the fact i love val because i will get called an ACTUAL rapist for saying it because "if you like val you condone his actions and thus are a rapist/terrible person/etc" when thats absolutely not at all how it works. i acknowledge that val is terrible, i understand that its bad, but i can still enjoy him as a character otherwise. his actions are what i dont like, ive never liked him (i actually hated him at first because of it but then i saw him being more silly in the series with vox and he grew on me), but you will actively get told to kys if you say that you even REMOTELY enjoy vals character

ok THIS one i might actually be able to answer with the correct definition of blorboification. i feel like alastor gets way too much unnecessary love, and maybe thats just because i think hes too popular for being what he is but hes just not all that to me. like, hes a good character, yes, but some people like him to an extent that i feel like doesnt do him justice?? its like i said with uuuuuh the dgrp side of this question, they dumb down his character a lot and are just generally bad at making him ACCURATE to the point its irritating. i like all the characters but there are just some i don’t really care for all that much but i wont exclude them because the group of either class can’t function without those characters

so im gonna call it characters i dont really care for and i will tell my reasons why

Peko - the first time i was introduced to her i was watching a playthrough because i didn’t have the game and i had already watched the first anime and watched somebody play the first game. NOW, the person i watched play the game only wanted to talk to her and nobody else, maybe chiaki but i wanted them to talk to Nagito or Ibuki dont get me wrong shes pretty but she didn’t really bring anything to the party in the first chapters i thought the bathroom thing was funny but she was stand offish and i know why but ya know mehhh

i also dislike the she was raised with Fuyuhiko  thing because TO ME, listen to my full story before you say something i was under the impression they were like siblings, brother and sister cause she wanted to take care of him and he didn’t want her help. and she was raised to be a tool later on i find out he has a blood sister and im like “oh cool sibling trio” and i find out it was made clear that he loved her in a romantic way and i just thought it was weird and it didn’t vibe with me, it’s the experience of my introduction to her i can’t change my mind on how i feel if yall like Peko good for you however Peko is going to be portrayed as Fuyu’s sibling on my blog unless i say otherwise

The Monokubs - they don’t bring enough to the game for me compared to everything this franchise has to offer they are kinda weird

Kurokuma and Shirokuma - i was let down because i trusted Shirokuma and he betrayed me so i don’t like him anymore i never liked Kurokuma he ran his mouth too much and was just generally annoying.

Sakura - it’s kinda the Peko situation again i had to sit through people talking to her over Leon because i didn’t have the game but i wanted to watch the playthrough and im just not interested in what Sakura has to offer but we cool homie Sakura is a good character just not for me

Akane - the way she is portrayed and the way they make her act overly dumb i just can’t be with it cause we already have Ibuki for that we dont need two of them it’s probably just me liking Ibuki more but i also fine Akane’s design boring but i love how everybody in the fandom gives her sweats thats perfect for her.

almost Nekomaru - love the big guy, he’s honestly just there to do what hes supposed to do and thats be everybodys hypeman, love him and Akane together

writing is really just a hobby for me and a way to project myself onto fictional characters and cope with reality

in no way do i consider myself a talented writer. i believe that good grammar goes a long way and thats the main reason my fanfics gain traction bc i have no other strong points lol

as for what i do, im down to write pretty much anything that interests me!

i dont do nsfw though bc it makes me feel weird and icky but if thats your thing then you do you!

i tend to write multi-chapter fics as opposed to oneshots, ive tried making oneshot books before but i always lose interest

i mostly write saiouma with other background ships that i love (explained more in the next section)

saiouma is my number one ship (totally not bc im a huge kokichi kinnie and am in love with shuichi) so yeah!!

but a close second is oumota/saioumota and maybe saimota but i tend to only read fics that include kokichi bc he is my absolute favorite

other ships i like are (in no particular order!): amamatsu, saimatsu, momoharu/kaimaki, kaemaki, tenmiko, irumatsu, kiiruma... idk i cant think of any more rn but i will add on later
