I don't know if this was intentional symbolism, but when Oczy talks about wanting to write a journal, he smiles and covers his mouth (out of a mix of excitement and embarrassment, I presume):

Which is very similar to Jolenta's mannerisms when she explained the power and beauty of writing to him:

I feel like this subtly implies that it was her speech that inspired Oczy to think so positively about writing, and why he's so excited to document his life experiences. Worth noting is that Jolenta didn't just praise the power of academic writing, but of all writing, including works with more focus on narrative than technical detail. This might've been what made Oczy realize that he doesn't need a formal education to write something interesting.

Then again, it's very possible that covering your mouth is just a common way to show that a character is flustered, and this has no greater symbolic significance. I'm kind of grasping at straws, because I really like this show, yet have no idea what to say about it.

Why the Tower didn’t feature the literal tower from Oczy’s dream: The Tower represents disaster, and the the tower from the dream has a more positive spin to it than the dungeon from part 1, which is what I chose for the tower instead.

Why Nowak is presented as justice when he clearly goes around torturing people and inflicting terror on our heliocentrists: I interpreted Justice to be the foil to Judgement. While Judgement is generally seen as something more otherworldly, Justice has a more human slant to it. What is judgement? I’ve already posted it 👀
